after a horable experiance with a scanner company on line i decided to try my local rad-shack,i did not go here first because the scanners are just a little biger and take 4 AA batteries vs two but i now know the scanner lasts twice as long,and you cant beat the service i recieved,i was a pain in there b***,i brought the scanner back two times because i did not hear alot of action and twice they(CHRIS) hooked it up to there computer and of course since my radio is now perfect in my respect i then brought my dads in to be reprogramed,these people are great,i allso had to return my scanner twice because the digital display went blank and again he programed it,i did not buy the replacement plan but still i just brougt it to them and they did the s&h and my scanner was gone for two weeks the second time,and this was uniden's fault not rad-shack.
