Our home came out beautiful! We were thrilled with their work. Very pleasant to work with ? always open to our questions and requests. They were very reasonably priced too. We would DEFINITELY hire them again and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone.

I needed to have the exterior of my cedar clapboard house re stained and found few choices of companies listed on Angie's list in the Worcester MA area. Of the ones listed, a couple had mixed reviews from customers who had negative experiences. However I did get competitive bids from several house painters in the area but none gave me the confidence or pricing I was seeking. Finally I consulted with the store manager of a local paint retailer that I frequent, who offered two recommendations which did provide quotes. My choice was to contract with Novia Painting and Contracting located in Worcester MA. I could not have been more pleased with this decision which is prompting me to recommend this company on Angie's list. Owner Mike Novia provided me with a written detailed quote that included more items than I expected compared to other quotes and was the lowest priced. Mike was present on the job site every day, and he and his crew of painters were very professional, courteous and skilled in their abilities. Mike complied with all of my special requests including pressure washing my chimney, back deck and concrete steps, even though these items were not part of the requested painting. The crew prep the house by scraping, sanding and calking all gaps between boards and cracks along the trim ( which was never done by any of the 4 previous painters I've used in the past 25 years ). The house had two coats of stain brushed ( not sprayed ), as well as several exterior doors painted with two coats. Exterior light fixtures were removed for painting and I provided new lamps which Mike installed at no additional expense. The crew cleaned up after each day and had no loud blasting music while working. Mike also performed some minor carpentry by replacing warped and broken clapboards and trim. I highly recommend Novia Painting and Contracting to all needing this type of work .
