We liked their design, and worked started well, although they insisted on payment within 3 days of the beginning of each phase of the project, which seemed reasonable to pay for cost of building materials. Added siding and roof to blend with the existing house structure, and re-shingling the entire house. They complained of some troubling delays getting the necessary building permits, until we intervened with the City inspection dept. However, as the project neared completion, we were frustrated by the slowness and delays they exhibited in final stages. They became unresponsive to our concerns about details they left undone, such as replacing the eaves on the new roof, removing concrete debris, and fulfilling the required dry-well construction. Instead they "disappeared", leaving the port-a-potty and equipment on our property over the winter. Also, they had removed, and didn't replace, a significant under-deck cover over an opening in the foundation, which we only discovered when frigid temperatures flooded our basement area. Their clean-up was obviously incomplete. Now they have disconnect all phone and email contacts. So we can't get a letter confirming they have abandoned the project, allowing us to pay for the required dry-well and drainpipes, so we can get the occupancy permit. Do not trust this company, despite their listing on Angie's List!

After a few false starts due to scheduling problems and employee turnover, the one-day project finally happened. The crew doing the work was fantastic, and did a great job. The foreman could have been nicer. The guy who came out and did the quote / project plan was very nice and professional. There was only one problem, a misunderstanding of sorts, they forgot to address one of my major concerns which might have occurred given the turnover of personnel; and in the end they did what they could to rectify it. I am happy with the actual work done, but some of the communication was frustrating. As in all cases, put everything in writing.
