Description of Work: Had a leak from an upstairs bathroom - noticed in the basement. The plumber found the cause (a large crack in a ceramic pipe in the first floor back hall. He cut the sheetrock, removed the cracked section of pipe and replaced it with new pipe. He also replaced the sticking flush lever on my second floor toilet. All is well. I would not hesitate to ask them back for other repairs.

Description of Work: Replaced tubing behind refrigerator that is connected to ice maker. It had been leaking water into basement.

Description of Work: Installed new 40 Gal 10 year warranty gas HW heater ($1100). Also had to install basement air makeup vent ($600) to make the install up to building code. Price seemed steep for the makeup vent but comparable for the heater. Very professional, on time, quality job, and very trustworthy. Will use them again for sure.

Description of Work: Garabedian repaired a broken shower valve. After I submitted my project through snapfix they called to schedule and were friendly and professional. I ended up having to reschedule and when I did they said I would be the first call of the day that day and the plumber would arrive between 8 and 8:30 am but more like 8:30. On that day I got a call at 7:50 am that they were coming. At around 9:05am still no plumber I called to find out where they were and they said the he had to stop at the supply store and should there any minute. Around 9:30 he arrived and he was friendly and apologized for running behind schedule and went right to work. It took him maybe 15 minutes to repair and it works fine. He also explained what caused the problem and how to avoid it in the future. I got a receipt with a total but wanted a breakdown of what was parts and what was labor, he said he calls the office for the amount so he's not sure but will request they send me an itemized invoice (which they promptly mailed out). It was a mostly good experience the punctuality wasn't such a problem because of the holiday but had I been waiting for the plumber before going to work on a different day that could've been a big issue. The price was steep for the service performed but that's only because it was a fast job and they don't pro rate their hourly rate of $86. As other plumbers we've previously worked with have pro rated their hourly rate it was disappointing but my fault for not asking before scheduling. Depending on the job I'd hire them again.

Description of Work: I had my shower valve replaced, two outside faucets replaced and a new kitchen fawcet installed. I had thought that the kitchen fawcet would only be a washer replacement instead of heeding a new fawcet. Had I known I would have purchased one ahead of time. I selected the least expensive one the plumber had on his truck, and was charged $180.00 for the fawcet. I checked the price on Amazon, and it was listed at around $90.00. While I realize amazon and having one on a plumbers truck are not equal comparisons, I do feel that the price I paid was excessive. I went with it because it would have cost me more to have a second trip made to the house. The plumber, Eric, was wonderful. I strongly suggest that anyone using this provider to supply their own faucets.

Description of Work: Uncloged a kitchen and bathroom drain and replaced some small section of pipes under kitchen sink which were cracked.

Description of Work: Installed a new hot water heater. The plumber was a master plumber. Highly trained and knowledgable. He was also prompt, courteous, and fast. I highly recommend Garabedian Plumbing.

Description of Work: I contacted this plumber first thing in the morning to advise I had no water due to losing vaccum. They kept saying how busy they were an how they had bigger jobs then mine that needed immediate attention - as of 11:31 they still have no ETA - I personally think this company has to many clients an not enough employees. if you have no water an need a plumber call some one else I will never call them again.
