They were great. They were prompt and punctual. It was a pretty substantial infestation that they took care of in one visit; they were really great. We spent less than $300 for the service.

I used an Angie's List coupon. It worked out well. They came out with an estimate. The next day they came out and set traps. After the traps were set, they came out everyday until the squirrels were gone.

I’ve used them for ten years. They are excellent people. They’re on time and the workers that come here are always very solicits and well mannered. They get right to their job. They don’t even wait a second.

They did a great job with the mice and had two different people who came out for two different things, but it was all covered by the same contract. .Everything went exactly as predicted (except they got more squirrels than they anticipated). Dave Beaulieu, the lead technician and very experienced arrived early for the estimate, but waited outside until the appointed time. He explained everything and patiently answered questions. He was friendly, professional and informative. The process involved the initial visit on a Monday, blocking all the access holes with a screening that can withstand chewing. One way doors allow the squirrels to leave their nests in the house, but not return. Live traps were set outside the entrances on the roof, baited with something "nearly irresistible to squirrels". The traps were checked every day, emptied and reset until there were no more caught which, as predicted was on a Friday. The one way doors were removed and the blocking was complete. Each day there was a different technician. The ones I met seemed knowledgeable and nobody seemed daunted by the height (fortunately, being a mild winter there was no ice to contend with). All of them seemed to take considerable pride in their work. Grey Squirrels are not endangered and they are humanely euthanized, rather than released in some other area where they would be likely to either invade another property or not survive because they are not familiar with the location. So far there has been no sign that any squirrels remain.

I have used them for years. A while back we had carpenter ants, and they did a great job of getting rid of them. I would highly recommend them.

Found out that we had a mice issue; thankfully limited to the garage and not the home. Serviceman showed when they said he would and did a very thorough job, inside and outside the home. Plugged all possible places the mice could be coming in. They came back in 4 weeks and checked everything. Very professional and, no mice! Will continue to use and recommend them to others.

They are reliable. They showed up when they said they were going to show up and they did what they were supposed to do. I just started using them for the last one month. I believe I spent $550 on their services. Their price was good. It was competitive. I will use their services again in the future.

Needed help with mice problems that were getting out of control. Found well rated on Angie's list and scheduled an appointment a week out. The service person showed up 10min early and got right to it. He was clearly knowledgeable and spent the time to understand the situation in my house, while explaining in-detail how the mice get around, how to spot vulnerabilities, and how their control system works. The approach requires a follow-up visit (wasn't clear when I called them initially) of which I only learned during the service; fortunately this is covered in the initial cost as part of their 6mo warranty. At the end he presented what is basically a pest insurance plan; I suppose this is common sales strategy for many services, but this one seems reasonable and I may just consider it, as it does not cost much more than this single visit and covers many problem types.Overall, a positive experience with Colonial, although we need to wait and see if the pest problem actually improves.

The tech that came to the house seemed very knowledgable and took the time to answer all of our questions. We did purchase a service plan from them and that price included the work they did that day.

First Colonial Pest sent out someone to meet with me and discuss the problem and see the scope of it. I had paid another exterminator to get rid of mice and had a 6 month warranty, and had needed to call him back because we were getting more mice in the house. He came back and the problem continued and got worse - all he seemed able to do was to put bait in traps... but the mice weren't eating the bait in the traps and we were finding more and more scat in the house and mice were getting into our stored food/rice. The initial inspection from Colonial Pest was more thorough than what our previous exterminator had done - checking out the attic, garage, and basement. We were impressed enough to schedule an appointment. Zachary, the exterminator, came a week later, and did an even more thorough examination of the house - looking for ways mice could be entering the house. He found mouse nests and a key entry point that was filled with acorns - something no one else had found. He also checked our our shed and in both house and shed, and worked on mouse-proofing them - from shed to garage to attic to basement. He showed me that the mice hadn't been eating the bait that was in stations all over my house, and set up a system that would be more effective, with a 6 month warranty. Beyond all this - Zach was intelligent, friendly, professional - just a pleasure to have in our home. He educated us about rodents and insects and was willing to answer any questions - I learned a lot from him - and learned some things about my house, too!

called on Friday due to a tenant over run by mice. They showed up on SATURDAY, about 1/2 hour late- but it wasn't that big of a deal for me. (they happened to have an opening) and put down poison bait- about 30 of them. I had them come back about a month later- covered in the original fee- and re fill. The guy who came back- different from the first- also plugged a mouse hole with steel wool. Have'nt seen any mice since. The service is good for 6 months, so I will have them come back one last time before the field mice come inside out of the cold weather.

The estimate experience was very good. We decided not to go with the service but to try to rid ourselves of the problem ourselves and then use the professionals if the issue wasn't resolved in the spring.

Serviceman called to set up appointment and let us know exactly what we would need to do to get ready for the appointment. He was very professional and pleasant. Especially liked the 6 month guarantee, and the easy instructions to contact the company if services are needed within this 6 month period. To date the problem has been resolved, I would recommend this company and use will use them again if needed.

Great experience. Luke in the office was great. We got an appointment two days after we called. The "bug guy" was on time and did a great job.

We have used Colonial Pest Control for several years now at our rental property in Worcester and have been happy with their service. They provide annual treatment for carpenter ants around the house and bait rodent traps when necessary. Their treatment seems to keep the ants at bay.

The technician Pedro arrived at exactly the scheduled time. He inspected our cellar and confirmed the earlier diagnosis of millipedes invading. He explained exactly what he was going to spray, assured us about the safety of the chemical. He then said he would be doing the garage as well to be sure the problem would be solved. He was exceedingly polite and informative (15 years with the company). Job took 45 minutes and we were able to use a 10% Angies List discount and also get a 6 month warranty on the work.
