Description of Work: They came out to check out my basement for chipmunks and the like. They very very prompt, gave me a bunch of info, and basically give me a few things to try to help problem solve, and told me to call them as i see more evidence (they couldn't find anything). I will call them back to spray for ants ect. Very good operation, very knowledgeable.

Description of Work: Squirrel-proofing house and chimney and removal--squirrels are gone and so far no new intruders. Very professional/knowledgeable/punctual and obviously love their work. Can't comment on pricing--but believe they were reasonable/competitive. Overall an excellent experience if you have to deal with this sort of thing--certainly recommended.

Description of Work: They treat the exterior of my house for carpenter ants. They notify me in advance that they will be coming, and they provide the service promptly two times a year with punctuality and precision. I have had them come for several years.

We are *very* pleased with Colonial's immediate response, knowledge and professionalism. We hope to never need them again, but if we do....

Description of Work: Overall, a first rate experience. We had what we thought were bats in our attic. Someone from Colonial Prest came out to validate just that. My wife said he was awesome, and seemingly had a "PHD in bats". They are pretty amazing creatures! He provided a thoughtful overview of the situation, as well as an estimate - which was lower than another quote we received (from a highly rated service), and they even provide a 7-year gaurantee... I don't think that can be beaten!!! The special Angie's List discount made it even more of a no-brainer. The stellar service continued when Ray came out and spent most of the day sealing up seemingly every hole large (or small) enough for a bat to get into. He also installed two one-way doors, which would allow for the remaining bats to leave. Once they leave, those two one-way openings will be closed off as well. Ray was extremely professional, hard-working, diligent, neat, and courteous. He even alerted me to some repairs that needed to be done on our chimney, which I had not known about. Description of Work: We've been using Colonial for the past 8 years and have been pleased with every single encounter. We use them for semi-annual maintenance and for specific issues that have come up. From termites to ants to mice to flying squirrels to bees, you name it they have been there for us. I cannot say enough about the company, the service and the people they employ. On the most recent trip was to help with ants found in the house. They were prompt, helped diagnose the problem and treated that same day. We have not had any issues since.

Description of Work: I was moving in to a new construction home and called Colonial Pest Control explaining I wanted them to come out and 1) look for signs of pretty much any creatures that may have moved in during the build. 2) look for and cover up entry points for rodents 3) recommend what should be as a preventative for future infestations of various types Zack from Colonial showed and up took care of these requests. He was thorough, explained the things he was looking for and why, and what he did or didn't find in his inspection. He made his recommendations and was clear on why it would be helpful. My husband and I decided on a preventative plan since there were no signs of a current infestation. Zack explained what he was going to do and the properties of the spray with which he was treating the exterior of the house. We've already noticed far less bugs clustered around the doors and windows at night. The best part was that he did a perfectly professional job while being warm, friendly, and funny with the members of my family who were present. Having a good job done is of high importance of course, but good customer service and manners go a long way with me. Zack did both, and we will have Colonial back in the fall as a result.
