The work is excellent. They are fast, thorough, and efficient in their approach. They're like a well-oiled machine. We have had a couple of scheduling snafus, but I can't fault her, as they often fell on a snow day when her workers could not get child care, etc. I admire Amanda's work ethic, and she really cares about doing a good job. She stressed from the beginning that I should tell her if I want anything done differently. Although our house is a challenge, I am a fairly easygoing person and don't mind occasional rescheduling, so we have not had any issues. As far as pricing, I didn't do much comparing, so I don't know exactly where she falls in terms of competitiveness. $120 seems like a lot, but we were paying $90 for a large Victorian ten years ago, so it's probably about right. And I feel so good after she's been here....

Angie cleaned my house one time. At that point, I was looking for occasional cleaning, not on a regular basis. Angie said she would be interested in cleaning for me again. I tried calling her several times saying I would like to set up a time to have her clean my house again. After several phone calls and emails, I finally got a call back. We set up a date and a time for her to come and clean. I was home to let her in on the agreed upon day and time. She did not come. Not only did she not come, but she did not call to say she she was not coming! Once you make an appointment with someone to do a service, you expect that the service provider will come as scheduled. It is really disappointing to have someone not show up and not even call with an explanation.

I was apprehensive only because we have never used a cleaning service before, but I was recovering from a major illness and my partner was out of the country. Amanda was very reassuring and considerate and I will definitely contact her again to return to clean our place. We were very happy with the results. I am only sorry that it took me so long to write this review because I have been wanting to share my very positive experience for months now!

I found Amanda's Cleaning Service on Angie's list when I needed to schedule a cleaning on very short notice. The owner of my previous service had retired and we had unexpected guests coming. I called and emailed, and Amanda got back to me promptly and agreed to come on just a few days' notice. She came personally with her crew for the first cleaning and they did a terrific, thorough job. She charged me an hourly rate for the first time (which was fair because the house had not been professionally cleaned for a few weeks) -- it was $60/hour. Now, we are on a regular every-other-week schedule and she charges $120, which is reasonable. The first cleaning was in Sept and they have come back a couple times since, and have continued to do a great job. I highly recommend this service.

I have been using Amanda's services for the last 4 years. I have always been more than pleased with her services and have never had any problems. Even when we moved to a new house last year, we continued using her services. I can't imagine not having her clean our home - it'slike she is part of the family. Amanda and her workers are extremely good people, are hard workers and always professional. I would highly recommend Amanda's Cleaning Services to anyone.

It went exactly as advertised and expected. They showed up at the scheaduled hour, cleaned every square inch of the house, beyond my satisfaction, and finished right about when she said she would be done based on the dimensions of the house

I checked Angie's List for references and Amanda's Cleaning was at the top of the list. I called and left an initial message and she got back to me and arranged a time to come by and give us an estimate. She came by at the scheduled time and after a quick inspection, gave us the estimate and we scheduled the cleaning. On the arranged date, they arrived on time. The movers were running late and were not quite finished, but Amanda and her crew were very flexible and able to start working where the movers had finished. The cleaners were professional, thorough and were very easy to work with. I appreciate that Amanda was very understanding and helpful at working around the movers. I'm relatively new to Angie's List and was a bit concerned about trying to find a cleaning company based solely on on-line reviews, but I was extremely satisfied with the experience. When I met Amanda, I could tell she is a true professional who is dedicated to providing a quality service. Bottom line; I was impressed with her responsiveness, integrity, flexibility and quality of service. I would definitely recommend her and use her service again.

I used to use Amanda to clean my condo monthly, but had to switch to another cleaner after 2 years of missed appointments and unreliability.

Amanda gave a thorough assessment, negotiated a very fair price for my home, and is always on time, trustworthy, thorough and friendly. Her employees do an excellent job. I recommend her service without hesitation.

Although I did not find Amanda through Angie's List originally (I was referred to Amanda by a friend), I felt that I should add this review here as I am so happy with her and her crew's services. Amanda is very professional, as was noticed in her first interview with me, when she looked over the house and asked pertinent questions as to what would be required of her not only on a weekly basis, but bi-monthly and monthly basis. She gave me the choice of providing cleaning materials or having her bring them, which means that I can see how much is being used. She gave me referrals to contact as well as pointing me to Angie's List to read the reviews before making any further arrangements, thus making me feel comfortable that she was a reliable entity. Her quote was amazingly low (half the price of my existing cleaner) and I was a bit worried that I would only get what I paid for, but since she started in early December, she and her crew have proven that you can find value without paying an arm and a leg. Since she started cleaning for me since early December, I have been happy with the cleaning provided . As others have noted; the little touches like folding the toilet paper into a little paper rose or emptying out the paper shredder make a difference. She is always willing to take on-board any issues, make changes if you're not happy and be very flexible in her scheduling. She was also willing to come over to our house to take care of our cat when we went away for 5 days over the Christmas holidays. (This was a leap of faith for us, having just known her 3 weeks.) Although we've only known Amanda less than 2 months now, I think it's very telling that I felt comfortable giving her the key to our home on her second visit, yet in the 2 months I had the previous cleaner, i never felt trusting enough to give her unsupervised access to our home.

Amanda came when she said she would and did the cleaning we discussed on the phone. She and her crew were friendly and professional. They all seemed comfortable with my dog. The price was a little higher than other cleaners, but my house hasn't been so clean in years! Everything was put back neatly. I will call her again when I am going to have someone clean my house.

Amanda was not responsive. I called and left a message for her on a Saturday, followed up with an e-mail to her on Tuesday and never got a response. If this is the way she treats potential new customers, I wouldn't want to find out how difficult it might be to schedule an actual cleaning.

It took a bit to connect and then to set up a routine, but your patience is worth it. She now shows up reliably. I don't know about punctuality because I'm at work when she's here, but she is very professional and conscientious. She is very responsive by text, which is great for someone with my traveling lifestyle because I can contact her regardless of what time zone I'm in. I have a pair of short-haired cats who adore her and she is so good about cleaning up the shedding hair. Amanda is hardworking and genuinely cares about doing a great job. As others have mentioned, she recommends products to buy and doesn't overuse them. I love that she changes my sheets and my place always looks ready for guests. Amanda quoted me $85 but I have a lot of dust in my old building and cat hair so I pay her $100.

I contacted several cleaning services looking to employee a company to regularly clean my home. Amanda contacted me the same day and we were able to arrange a time for her to quote on the job within a few days. She arrived right on time on the night we agreed on. During the quote she asked many questions to ensure she had a good idea of our likes/dislikes and preferences for cleaning each area of the house. She clearly outlined the things she doesn't do which I found very helpful. I felt very at ease and would have been ready to confirm a regular cleaning however she explained she would like to do the first cleaning on a day I was home (even though that was a Saturday and doesn't typically work that day) so she could introduce me to her staff member who would also be in the house. Also, she wanted to make sure I was home so I could give her direct feedback on any issues or other preferences I hadn't thought of initially. Along with the quote which came through in a matter of days (and I found to be very reasonable), she also sent me references that I could check prior to giving over a key and confirming ongoing services. She has now cleaned my house twice and I am absolutely thrilled. She and her team leave delightful and thoughtful touches (like folding the toilet paper into a point -hotel style - and making a tissue floral arrangement on a box of tissues I had sitting on the counter). I found these little touches typical of her attention to detail. I have high gloss wood floors throughout that I always seemed to scratch with a vaccum. So far, her team have managed to vac without one single scratch! She also sent me a reminder email that she would be coming the next day which was very useful as I had gotten my weeks mixed up. I am very happy with her service and look forward to being included on her referee list should she need another one. Highly recommended.

Amanda has been coming to clean my 3-story, 6 bedroom, 2.5 bath house every other week since last summer. She is quick and efficient and the house always looks great after she comes. She's willing to work with me to accommodate any special event, etc... that I have, even at busy times of year (like Thanksgiving). She's very pleasant to work with, even my dog likes her. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Amanda and her team are very professional, friendly and they do a quick and thorough job of cleaning. They are flexible with their schedule so that if I need to change our regularly scheduled slot, Amanda always tries to accommodate. Their punctuality is not perfect; there has been a couple times when they arrived earlier or later than expected. However, I understand that jobs prior to my home go faster or take longer than expected so it is not a major concern for us, especially since I know she will do what it takes to clean my home when she is here. I would certainly recommend Amanda's Cleaning!

Amanda is unable to keep appointments. On the first appointment, she called moments after the appointment time to reschedule because one of her staff was sick and she was filling in. On the second appointment, she did not show up and called about half-hour later to reschedule with the same excuse. I questioned why I could not have been informed earlier in the day to spare me from wasting time, especially because she had already known about the illness of her staffer and working in her place. Remarkably, she said she could show up for the appointment after all, and did so 20 minutes later. She looked over my house and quoted a rate of $60/hour for 2 workers. She said she would send me references by email. I am still waiting for her response!

Overall everything is great. I love coming home on the days she's been at our house. I would highly recommend her.

We love Wednesdays when Amanda comes! She and her crew are fast, friendly, and thorough. We have approximately 2700 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and Amanda does a fabulous job making everything look great. She cleans the kitchen (including the stovetop!) And baths until they would pass a white glove inspection, vaccums and wet mops the wood floors, dusts everything, changes sheets and remakes the bed so it looks like a fancy hotel room, and it's all part of her standard services! We are so happy we chose Amanda's Cleaning. She's also very flexible with scheduling if you need to cancel a cleaning for whatever reason. We provide cleaning supplies (cleaners and paper towels) but they bring everything else. I like this arrangement because then I can choose which products I like for all my different surfaces. She let's us know when we need to restock on anything so it's practically effortless. We have never found anything broken or missing after a cleaning. Amanda and her crew (always the same ladies) are trustworthy and reliable. On a personal note, she is super friendly with my toddler, and always has a smile and a little conversation with him when she comes. She makes an effort to be more than just a person that comes to clean your house with her friendly demeanor and willingness to take a few extra minutes to chat. She also thanks me every time she comes, when really, I'm the one who should be thanking her!

We called Amanda's on a Saturday as we were moving out of our apartment in Boston's Beacon Hill and realized that the place needed a top-to-bottom scrub-down before showings to potential new tenants. Amanda called back immediately (two other companies never returned phone calls and one other called back, but after we already booked with Amanda). Not only was her initial response prompt, but she made herself and her crew available to come by the following Monday - just two days later - as we explained that we needed the cleaning as soon as possible. Amanda showed up on time for the appointment with two other cleaners as part of her crew. They worked their magic and in one hour had the apartment looking better than we had ever seen it before! With amazingly few tools, they cleaned every surface and had the place absolutely sparkling. As typical for Beacon Hill, there were a lot of older wood surfaces that had accumulated layers of dust and dirt despite routine cleaning; after Amanda and her team were done, everything looked fresh and polished. I can't say enough about what a great job they did, and all in an hour! I couldn't believe it. I only wish we had found Amanda's sooner, as we would have used them regularly. We will continue to recommend Amanda's - great work at a great price.

Called to request an estimate for our home in Framingham (her listing says she services MetroWest). She said she really only goes out to Natick but since we're on the Natick-line she would come out. We set an appointment time for Sunday afternoon, but she called Friday evening to reschedule. I told her I would email her on Saturday to provide alternate times for Tuesday but never heard back from her. On Saturday I emailed her at the email in the profile here (which she said was valid) and on Monday I submitted a form on her website. I have not heard back from her.

Amanada has been cleaning our place recently. She and her team have been doing a great job. They always take special care to clean everything carefully. Also, Amanada works hard to make sure that you're happy with everything and follows all of your cleaning instructions, such as using special cleaning products, etc. And she's always happy to accommodate changes in scheduling etc. Also, she's easy to contact by email or phone. I highly recommend her.

Amanda has been cleaning my apartment for 3 month, i have been happy from the get go. She was very responsive, pleasant personality, and able to clean my apartment within days of the initial contact. She communicates via text message, which is perfect for my lifestyle. The apartment is always sparkly clean, especially the floors ( I told her that I liked them to be shiny, and she delivered!) I also have big glass doors ( shower), which are spotless when she is done with her cleaning. So all in all a perfect decision to hire Amanda!

Amanda keeps track of our schedule and confirms when she'll be there - it's consistent and offers great peace of mind!
