He had good suggestions (such as a contractor key mechanism that allows you to avoid a wholesale lock change in future), was able to work with a new lock for which we did not have the key. And the kindness mattered especially when, in our rush to complete some big projects before visitors were to arrive, we jammed our front door lock while changing out the door and needed to call him on a Friday night just a day after we'd last seen him. He was prompt and gracious. He could have charged us more for that second, emergency visit than he did.
Description of Work: We needed all our our locks changed throughout the house. And then, just a day later, we installed a new front door and didn't reinstall the new lock properly.

Description of Work: The locksmith called and asked to come early, due to another job finishing earlier. That was good. so we switched the time. Bulent arrived as he said he would, looked at my lock, and I explained, how it stuck, and really hard to both lock and unlock. He went to work, right away. He had introduced himself, was friendly and professional. We made small talk, and after the job was done realized we had a friend in common. But, by then, he had completed my job. He first tried to repair, what I had, instead of trying to sale me another lock. He chiseled and power drilled, the openings, and rescrewed the plate on the door. He had me try it, both entering and exiting, using my key and just turning the lock from inside. It worked great! He cleaned up after himself, was quick, and was on his way. I was just charged an additional 35.00 for material.

I walked him through what I needed done and he quickly totaled the charges letting me know the final expense. He went right to work without interruption. I hate when service providers talk constantly instead of working or want to give you a lecture. No bs here just quick work and kind nature -- he got the job done fast and off he went!!

+ -1 moreexcellent. He was very knowledgable and honest on best way to repair our door lock set so that the door would once again close and latch. This repair took some extra work and creativity on his part because we wanted to keep the original hardware. When his first solution didn't quite work, he took the lock set back to his shop to work on and then return to reinstall(which he did in a very timely manor).

+ -1 moreBought a new construction home. Front and garage doors have knob locks and dead bolt locks. He was able to re-key and reset all four cylinders and provided me with four new keys. By doing it this way he saved me money and I was able to keep by brand new locks in place. Took the time to explain and show me everything. Excellent work I would call and recommend him again anytime.
Description of Work: He was great. It was a short notice call but he made an appointment for the next day and was on time, responsive and completely professional. He replaced four of our lock cylinders and re-key them all.

Bulent was done re-keying the door within minutes, and actually spent longer adjusting the door so it sat squarely in the framr again. All of which he never charged me for, which I would have been fine if he had. All in all, it was a quick and highly efficient process which Bulent definitely went above and beyond. Absolutely recommend!!

Our old lock broke and my husband forced the door open. Bulent replaced the lock and keyed the new lock to match our other exit door. He also screwed the door frame back in place where my husband had forced it open. Just a great company... punctual, knowledgeable and reasonable.

The price was very fair, they used good quality materials and were very pleasant and quick. They also polished the door plates and handles!

+ -1 moreBulent was very responsive and flexible; we needed a somewhat open date since we wanted him to come to the house the day we closed. He arrived on fairly short notice and on time. He was fast, thorough and discreet. The locks all work perfectly. Bulent is a master - he can tell by merely glancing at a lock whether or not a key will fit in it. I had a handful of keys and he helped sort out what we should keep and toss. When I say he helped I mean it took him three seconds - it would have taken me hours to sort them out. Definitely recommend and will use again in the future.
