Great experience, prompt service, perfect attention to detail

I called and spoke to Bulent on a Friday afternoon. He walked me through his pricing and agreed to come to my house on Saturday morning. He showed up right on time. He was very polite and professional. He re-keyed the locks and made me plenty of spare keys. I would highly recommend his services.

I called Bulent on monday morning and he was at the house at 2pm and gave us a quote. His price was reasonable and we got 10% off with Angie's List discount. He started at 230pm and came back the next day and finished up. He uses quality materials and did a great job. I would use him again and highly recommend him.

They were great. I had them come twice and both times the work was high quality. The price was exactly what he said it was going to be. He is a pleasant guy to work with.

He arrived promptly, had all necessary tools and supplies, and left all the locks not only rekeyed but working better than they had before. He also took away measurements and info to replace some hard-to-find parts, and gave us advice about the eventual repair of our garage doors. Just as others have observed, this was high-quality, professional service with obvious pride in work. The price was terrific and he threw in some extra free keys so everyone could have one.

We had a great experience with Star. Bulent was very knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. He met with us at the house for a free consultation, and told us about all of our options for re-keying, door hardware, and keyless entry. He also gave us a detailed quote on the spot, which was well under what other locksmiths were charging - all the prices were very reasonable (fixed fee for each re-key, service call fee, cost of keypad hardware, and installation charge). Star was very responsive to phone calls and questions prior to having the work done. After changing a couple of options, we decided to buy our own keyless deadbolt hardware and had Bulent come to the house and do the work - he was punctual and even showed up a few minutes early, which is rare for contractors. He re-keyed all our locks (6 in total), and then discovered that none of the deadbolts in the house had ever been able to fully lock! He proceeded to drill out the holes on all our door frames to improve the action and make sure we could fully turn all the deadbolts. No extra charge for this work. He also made us a few spare keys at no charge. Star was very professional. Bulent showed his locksmith ID, made sure to take off his shoes when he entered the house, and swept up the area around the doors where sawdust had fallen from the drilling. The whole job was done quickly and thoroughly, and he showed us how to program and use the new locks after they were installed. There were no surprise charges or fees at the end, and Star even gave us discounts for being Angie's List members and new home owners. Overall we are very satisfied and would definitely hire Star again!

Star Locksmith was GREAT!! Reasonably priced, super fast service, very pleasant to work with. I called around to a number of locksmiths in the area and Bulent's prices were very reasonable, including the $35 service charge to come to my home. Other places were charging much more, even though they were located in a neighboring town. I am writing this review two hours after initially calling Star Locksmith...and all of my services are already completed! I called Bulent at 3pm and he indicated he could be at my home at 4 (same day.) At 3:30 he knocked on my door, showing his ID/credentials, which I appreciated. He came in and got right to work. By 4pm all of the door locks had been rekeyed and he was driving away. I had waited for a few weeks to call locksmiths since I figured it would be a hassle and pretty time-consuming to rekey 7 locks and make copies of the key. However, this was super quick and easy and Bulent was great to work with. I highly recommend calling this company.

The gentleman arrived the same day I called. He was prompt and charged a very reasonable fee. He also made us several copies of the new keys.
