Description of Work: My gas oven was not igniting, and needed a replacement part. They were very responsive, came promptly, diagnosed my issue and ordered the part. They returned within a week to replace the part. They were professional and friendly. The only down side is the price was on the higher end. I'm not sure the going rate on the part I needed / service cost, but I could've replaced the whole oven for $100 more since it was on sale at Home Depot around the same time. | |Overall great experience and I will definitely use them again because of the convenience and ease of doing business. I would've preferred lower fees, but for next day service you can't complain!

Description of Work: They replaced a part in our washing machine. It would have cost more to replace the machine and since we needed a washer of a certain size to fit the space, this was the best solution. The technicians were punctual, professional and worked quickly.

Description of Work: I called them out to repair a broken dishwasher. True to their name, they sent a tech the same day I called them, and he was able to diagnose the problem quite quickly. Unfortunately, although their techs carry many parts on their trucks, the particular part I needed had to be back-ordered, which took a week. The technician returned promptly once the part had arrived and replaced it quickly and competently; I haven't had a single bit of trouble with the dishwasher in the year since. | |My one criticism is that they are a little pricier than other options, although the additional cost may well be worth it if they are in fact able to fix the part on the same day. | |On a separate occasion, I called and asked them to take a look at a front-loading washing machine. Based on the symptoms, the woman who took down my information informed me that a manager would need to contact me before they could schedule an appointment, and since I had called quite early (7:30 or 8am), no managers were available. A manager did call me quite promptly within about 45 minutes, and he explained that since the washing machine was 10 years old and the symptoms indicated that the drum had broken loose from its mounts, it would be more cost-effective for me to simply replace the unit. While I was disappointed that I was unable to repair the system, I do appreciate the fact that they discussed this with me before sending a technician out, and without charging me a fee for any of this. So while they're pricy, they treat customers well.

Description of Work: I purchased a $49 Big Deal for $100 towards an Appliance Repair. It was fine. I have hired them in the past and I am always happy.

Description of Work: I purchased a condo. After I moved it, I noticed signs of water leaks near the dishwasher so I was afraid to use it. I hired Same Day Service to fix the problem. The service person showed up on time. He couldn't find any problems initially so he stayed for a half an hour to do more diagnostics and run the dishwasher for a while. He still didn't find any problems. I appreciated the time the service person took to thoroughly check it out. I didn't want to have a flood so it was reassuring to have a knowledgeable person examine it. Since then I haven't noticed any water leaking.

Description of Work: They came to my sister's house to look at her small refrigerator she kept downstairs in her home. The refrigerator was not keeping things cold, and the freezer stopped working. The gentleman who arrived was prompt, courteous, and worked diligently to try to fix the problem. After taking the refrigerator apart, it was determined the part that was needed was unattainable due to the age of it. My sister would highly recommend them.

I paid for the service call. (I was told of this fee when I called for service.) While my machine wasn't repaired, I would definitely call Same Day Service again.
