Description of Work: Don (nice guy) came & showed windows & gave price - got financing. We then worked with Erin (great customer service)setting date. Now just waiting installation for 2nd week of December. If installation goes as smooth as all other aspects we will be very happy repeat customers.

Description of Work: We called Rite Window and a few other companies because we thought we needed new windows. Several of ours, including one of our big bay windows, had the gasket between the panes of the double-paned windows bulging out. Rite Window was the only vendor we interviewed to suggest that we could simply replace the glass packs in the windows rather than the entire window. This was a much less expensive and less invasive fix, since the window frames themselves were in great shape. All went according to plan and the sales rep who came to our home answered all our questions thoroughly and was very available to us by phone or email before and throughout the entire process. Rite Window referred us to a sub-contractor, as Rite Window doesn't actually do the installation of glass packs. The installers did a great job and we are very happy. We're also grateful that Rite Window didn't take advantage of us and sell us entire windows when all we needed to do was replace the glass. They earned my trust with that!

Most homeowners are unaware that they can replace the glass without replacing the whole window, and as you correctly pointed out many companies take advantage of this situation. Description of Work: We ordered a picture window in August 2014, and were told 6-8 weeks for delivery. 13 weeks later the window was delivered for installation and was 100% incorrect. It was suppose to be a bay window with 19" side double hung windows and a 32" center window. The window delivered was 12" side double hung windows and a 18" center window. We sent the window back, and no one called us to follow up. Two days later I called and requested a refund. I will never call this company again, we were so disappointed.

Thank you sir. When we first started installing Indow Window interior storms we thought the selling point would be their ability to eliminate window drafts. They do a great job with that, but as you pointed out they also help eliminate exterior street noise, which in some situations is an even bigger selling point. Description of Work: Replaced 6 windows with basic white double hung windows. It took a while for the windows to come in (more than the 8 weeks quoted) but the windows went in quickly--less than one day-- and are great. They took the old windows and storm windows, and cleaned up the mess and dust.

Replacing the entire window costs more and we didn’t want the price listed above to mislead anyone. About glass replacement: More often than not customers assume they need their entire window replaced when the only problem is a seal failure in the glass. With some window types it’s possible for our service department to replace the glass only. We tell our sales staff the goal is NOT to sell windows, the goal is to provide a solution to our customer’s window problem...and solutions that save money are the best kind! Thanks again.
