I had a plumbing leak in the ceiling in my dining room, and had to cut a hole in order to fix it. Given the plumbing was only about 10 years old and original, I wanted to have most of the ceiling removed so my plumber could inspect the surrounding pipes and connections to lower the risk of another leak. The ceiling visibly had been patched before by a previous owner, so if there was a history of leaks, I figured there might be mold. The ceiling had a few large wet spots which I left to air dry knowing it was going to be demolished anyway. I then contacted RestorePro for an on-site estimate, was given a reasonable price, and proceeded with the removal of the ceiling. The estimator and office staff were very easy to work with. The RestorePro professional who came to do the work was friendly, had a positive attitude, and did a fantastic job. The weather that morning was lousy, but he seemed happy to be there when he arrived. I left for work, and when I stopped by in the afternoon to check on the progress, he was done. It turned out there was some mold on the back of the drywall and wood strapping, which was taken care of. I got to see photos of the mold. The room was cleaned up nicely. I knew a plasterer so I had him reconstruct the ceiling after my plumber checked what had been exposed, but I'm sure RestorePro would've done a great job based on their performance thus far.

We had water leak into our house from a faulty roof. They repaired all of the damage in two rooms. All of the contractors that were working on the job were all very professional and accomodating. I would defintely recommend them to anyone!

They responded to me very quickly. They are working with my insurance company now. These people are quite nice and willing to do the arguing for me becuase I don't have the information about the damage. So far I am very happy.

We had a sewage backup that caused a spill over an uneven concrete floor. We don't really store anything down there, but I didn't want to sanitize it myself. RestorePro was able to come out the next morning and clean it up. They were a little late due to traffic. Pricing seemed a little high, but probably partially my fault for not getting a quote when scheduling the work. The cleaning was pretty quick, and used a non-bleach sanitizer which was nice. It stayed damp for a bit due to humid weather and the fact that I didn't open the windows to help dry it out like they recommended. Bottom line is that I would hire them again (but hopefully won't need to).

Overall it went very well. They were very professional. At the end of the project, they were peeling off painters tape from the hardwood floor and peeled off a bit of lacquer from the hardwood floors. They could have claimed that it was there before they started the work or they could have not told me about it (and I may not have noticed), but they approached me first about it to tell me of the damage they created. A good show of honesty. They sent someone over a few days later to reapply polyurethane to fix the problem.

The two guys took the time to put up a barrier between our family room and the other parts of the house, and then did what looks like a thorough cleaning throughout.

Very, very good! They were very punctual and quite professional. They diagnosed the situation promptly and I was very impressed with the service.

This is a great company to work with. They are super reliable and very conscientious of the work they do and how it effects the surroundings they are working in. They were very careful during setup to contain the contaminated area and they disposed of all their debris appropriately. Their quotes are very detailed and were very reasonable compared to some other companies I looked at.

A toilet sprung a leak when we were away, and by the time we were back had poured out a lot of water. A plumber fixed the leak, but some weeks later we smelled mold. RestorePro came out, confirmed the mold, ripped up the floor, dried everything out, applied some sealant to parts that weren't damaged enough to be removed, and rebuilt everything with a new tile floor using tiles of our choosing. The whole thing took a long time (months) due to scheduling, time for us to pick the tiles, etc., but RestorePro was always on top of things. They did a great job, were careful not to do too much (e.g., using sealant where possible to avoid extra cost), and always were happy to answer questions (though they were a little tough to get hold of---didn't always return calls well). They stuck to their original estimate even when slight additional work had to be done. They also handled interaction with the insurance company. Admirable and professional throughout. Having explored other companies, some of which seemed dangerously sleazy, I strongly recommend that anyone with a mold problem start by calling RestorePro.

Washing machine malfunctioned leaving huge water damage. They responded immediately at on a Saturday evening and stayed until after midnight. Other companies recommended by our insurer did not call us back for 2 days. The owner Brian and his team (Tom, Dave) are professional and committed to quality. Over the next few weeks they worked hard and checked in on evenings and weekends as well. They handled our belongings with respect and were available via cell whenever we needed to discuss with them. I could tell everyone on the team was committed to quality and customer service - how refreshing! The cost was paid directly by insurance so we do not know the the final $$. I recommend them without reservation. In an emergency they were a true lifesaver for our family and home.

They were very customer friendly and willing to spend the time to analyze the problem. I appreciated that they were interested in finding the best solution for my problem irrespective of their getting the contract.

This ended up being just an assessment situation, but Restorepro was great from the moment of scheduling the appointment until the assessment itself. I called the 1-800 number and spoke with Brianna. Even though appointments are set up "cable-company" style (they give you a window of hours they'll show up) she kindly offered to call on the day of the appointment to confirm a more specific time. This was a huge plus, since we've been stood up by other service providers before. The service was perfomerd in two different days. The Restorepro Specialist, David Johnson, showed up on time and did a preliminary assessment of the damage. Because he wasn't able to give a firm diagnosis, he offered to come a second time with different equipment, so he could finalize his assessment. On the second visit he was equally punctual, calling ahead to make sure we knew when he was going to arrive, and very professional. It turned out, we did not have mold or any other kind of damage that required further Restorepro services, and we got the information and peace of mind for free! David even recommended a second service provider in case we decided to further our investigation. Having contacted several service providers in the construction/contracting business that either did not respond or showed up extremely late for appointments, it is refreshing to know that this company is so responsive, punctual and professional.

We have a two-family with a basement which although it has a french drain, occasionally gets water seeping through cracks.In addition one of the wall water heating units in the basement had leaked water onto the floor.A previous tenant had installed soundproofing material and it got extremely moldy.We called RestorePro and they came out to do an estimate - we asked to have all of the soundproofing removed and also the estimator suggested they cut back the bottom of the wood panel which the water heating unit was mounted on to keep the wood from getting wet and moldy over time. He also reassured us that the mold was not the toxic/harmful to health kind that could cause illness.The guys that came to do the work within a few days, were super efficient/friendly/professional. They took out the soundproofing and other debris, and cleaned the floor, and left industrial blowers and a humidifier which they came back to pick up a few days later.Since the basement was dry by the second day, we called and asked if it was okay to shut everything down and were told we could do so.The original estimate was adjusted in our favor (the estimate included 2 days of rental of blowers/humidifier, and cleaning of the entire basement which turned out to be unnecessary so the crew only cleaned the effected parts of the basement floor). In other words, RestorePro is extremely honest which we appreciate - we were only charged for the actual work done/rental hours used.I would highly recommend RestorePro to anyone. The only slight negative which I did tell them about in the questionnaire they asked clients to fill out after each job is that they aren't always prompt when they give you a time of arrival.

Their price was what they had said it would be. They were excellent. It was basically preventative treatment as I had already had a flood. They came out to tell me how to avoid problems I had earlier. I would consider using them again in the future.

They did a good job. They were good. They would get an A. The quality of work was excellent. They came out in a timely manner. They met their appointment time on time. They did really well.

I am not sure how much we paid; the work was done a long time ago from this report. After our city received 3.5" of rain in 1/2 hour on a Saturday, we received brown water backflow into the house, which came up through the shower in the below grade master suite. We called Restorepro on Monday morning, and they came that afternoon. They immediately pulled up the carpet and backing, lifting the furniture as needed, and hauled all of it away. They also disinfected the tile floor underneath and set up large fans and dehumidifiers which they left running for several days. They came back two days later and tested each wall with a hand-held meter for moisture content. They marked each wall where moisture content was recorded, and where it was dry. They then cut out all the damaged dry wall and hauled that away. When they made the first cut they found mold, so we decided to have them remove all the dry wall along the three exterior walls all the way to the ceiling, not just to the moisture line. They also removed the bathroom sink and cabinet, and toilet, to get at the dry wall. They left the fans and dehumidifiers for several more days.

Overall experience went very well. The company is very thorough and hard working. I enjoyed interacting with everyone I met from the company. Very impressed that the owner came on sight to inspect work and took time to explain the process involved. Project manager was very responsive to my calls and questions as well. Worked well with my insurance company. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again if the need ever arose.

They spent about 4 days at our house, doing an extensive hepa cleaning and then cleaning, packing things up in plastic, patching and painting. The basement is pristine now and smells lovely.

Every single person we had contact with was friendly and accommodating (from the call center to those on site). I feel everyone was quite knowledgeable of their field, real pros. We've enjoyed working with them previously and will continue to utilize their services. Price reflects clean up after two floods.

Water seeped into our basement, damaging carpeting and drywall. When I called RestorePro, they were very responsive and knowledgeable, but the pricing information I got on the phone was totally different from the pricing once the crew got to my house: * The price for the initial assessment and first hour was supposed to include three workmen but only two showed up. * Trash removal was supposed to be included, but it became an extra and significantly expensive charge. * The total charge for the equipment rental also went up by 33%. As a result, RestorePro would be doing about half the work for double the price I anticipated. I called the (very nice) receptionist to clear up the confusion. She said, well, we give a price just to get the crew out to the house, then once they are there, its up to the crew to decide how much to charge. I didn't want to think that RestorePro was just price-gouging because of the recent flooding in the area, so I spoke with the owner to negotiate a compromise. But, he wouldn't budge (and in fact started to raise his price), so they didn't get the work. I went with an alternative for less than half the cost.

My experience with Restorepro is very mixed. The dispatcher at their office was very responsive and was able to get the company out to us the same day I called. While they gave me a written information, (a standard type disclaimer, where I agreed to pay for work not covered by insurance) there was no estimate offered and now 2 weeks later, I still have no idea what the water extraction will cost me. (I did not give them my homeowner's information, as I know by experience we don't have coverage for this kind of damage.) The employees did move furniture from the finished part of the basement, and pulled up the carpet from 4 corners in the room in order to blow air beneath the carpeting. When they came back 3 days later to collect the fans and dehumidifier, I was not surprised that they didn't put the furniture back, but was *very* surprised that they did not tack the carpeting back down where they had pulled it up. When I specifically asked, I was told they do not do this and was directed to call a carpet installer. Despite asking several times and having one of the employees specifically request that the main office call me about this, I was unable to find out if they treated the carpet with an anti-mold agent. Overall, while I'm happy with having a dry carpet, I feel the company didn't communicate with me effectively, and 2 weeks later, I still don't know what this will have cost.

Our insurance company paid for it and Restore Pro dealt with them for us. I highly recommend them, I actually have recommended them to a couple of mom's groups I am in. They were punctual, did the work and did a good job.

Although the company did a fine job on both occasions, we didn't feel the charge to mop up the second flood was as good as the price to mop up the first flood. The affected area the second time was about a quarter the size of the area impacted by the first flood.

They wanted $150.00 to come out and take a look. None of the company information on angies list mentions a fee for estimates. I could not find any information on the company website either. I spoke with the 'office manager' person. He said they would not give out quotes over the phone because it may not be close to what the actual work would be. That is understandable. When I asked if I could talk to one of the people responsible for the actual mold remediation to see if I could get some information or ball park figures, I got the same answer. At that point I gave up and ended the conversation.

They never responded so they obviously didn't do any work for me.
