Our tenant was moving out on a rainy day and some items were moved via the basement bulkhead. The unfortunate outcome was that the section of carpet was waterlogged. I called a 'chain' and their high handed attitude was very annoying. I promptly cancelled them. I made some calls to the folks i found on Angie's List. It was a short notice request so many were busy. One of them recommended RestorePro. I spoke with them and they promptly arranged for the team to attend to this. As part of doing the remediation, they removed and restored the carpet and some wood board. While doing the assessment post the job, i was made aware of the extra charges. I was not too thrilled since I expected them to give me a complete estimate before the job. Also the job was small so this was manageable. RestorePro acknowledged this aspect and waived the extra charges. They had also recommended me getting a dehumidifier in the basement. It took me a few daysto get it so they graciously kept their own for some extra days and did not charge me. This was just out of concern for the tenants kid. RestorePro went above and beyond their call of duty and I really appreciate that. I would recommend them without any hesitation.

I They showed up on time, had the proper equipment with them on the trucks, used proper procedures for water damage remediation, had enough people on the crew to get the job done correctly. They have numerous people who can take phone calls during an emergency even if it is at night time. They have been specially trained in understanding water damage and how it can lead to mold. They know how to properly contain and dispose of the mold damaged areas. The water had traveled to areas we did not expect and they were able to detect those areas with their equipment. They had a plaster person who was very skilled at matching our repaired wall to look the same as the other walls. Brian is always kind on the phone > There are other highly trained individuals whose names I can not think of at the moment-- but they were also most helpful on the phone. There is a woman who answers the phone during the day who is very patient and always willing to take messages. Our situation was tough because our daughter has severe asthma and they handled that in a manner which was helpful They responded to emails promptly . I am writing this review later because I was not a member of angies list before hand

:Workers from Restorepro removed all of the mildew and mold,, removing walls and flooring as necessary. To make things really difficult, there was a concrete subflooring that had to be removed in places--not an easy job. The work took four or five days. Paul, the main worker, attacked the job with care and diligence. His work ethic was amazing; he worked tirelessly and meticulously from the early hour he arrived until he left ( 6:45PM one night), not stopping to eat lunch or even take a water break. Best of all, he cleaned up the mess at the end of each day. I couldn't have been more pleased. Further, Restorepro oversaw the restoration of the property (ca. $8000). They were unable to provide a contractor right away, but did so after a short wait. Best of all, they were able to do all of the restoration (new walls, new flooring, new carpeting, painting, etc.) while I was away on vacation. I came back to a remediated and completely restored home. I love this company: hard workers, reliable, honest, reasonably priced-- (the actual work took about a week for the remediation and a little over a week for the restoration.)

They were prompt and careful. When they were finished, we thought we saw some spots, they came back out and took care of the area.

I found RestorePro through reviews on Angie's List. Even though there were a lot of other jobs due to hurricane damage they worked with us to keep all of their appointments. Their office staff and demo crew were very curteous and professional. Their evaluation was very thorough and the demo work was done quickly. Great job on the clean up work! We decided to use them for the reconstruction work as well. For some reason (maybe the busy hurricane season) they used another vendor for the restoration work and there was a bit of an issue. When I mentioned it the owner of RestorePro called me the very next day! That kind of customer service is unheard of!!! He took care of it immediately. In my opinion this is the sort of company one would want to work with. Even when issues arise customer service is the primary driver. The work was completed perfectly and both the garage and bedroom looked great. You couldn't even tell that there had been any water damage in either area. I would definitely use RestorePro again!!! Thank you for a job well done!!!

The guy came, and he was very professional. My overall experience with him was good! His service price is a hundred dollars more than the other company that quoted me.

Contractor was very busy with some other new projects and timeframe for work did not meet our needs. Would certainly discuss furture projects with them.

Restorepro's guys were the best estimate we got and after good review from this site, we chose them. The were there on time and within budget. Very professional, great advice and the job was clean and good. They made some recommendations, which made sense, so we went ahead with them and the end result was good. I definitely would use them again

They were really good. They were very reasonably price. I used them last week. The price was very reasonable. Most other companies charge a lot more. They ask questions about what exactly you want them to do. Do you want to do the testing or will they? I had a really good experience with them.

Had an attic full of mold due to a bathroom exhaust fan being installed incorrectly 2 years ago by an incompetent electrician. Brian from RestorePro came out the day after I called him for a quote and was very professional and nice. We had already fixed the exhaust fan problem but he checked the entire attic out to see if there were any other causes of our mold problem. He quoted us $1,700 and sent us a bill for $1,700. Beautiful! Over two days he and another person from his company cleaned/bleached the mold in our attic and then applied a mold resistant sealant to the wood. He then vented the attic and had a large fan contraption that pulled air from the attic and sent it out the bathroom window. When he returned on day two he wasn't fully satisfied with the sealant coverage so he did another coat for no charge. That is having pride in your work! Our attic looks like there was never an issue and I feel better about my home's air quality.

RestorePro Inc. was so good and personable.

After multiple floods and a broken sewage pipe, the entire basement (consisting of four different areas) needed to be decontaminated. Restorepro was extremely responsive during the quoting phase. As it took some time to clear the basement (it took about 5 months), they continued to check-in on our progress until we were ready to begin. When I asked them to return to redo an area, they were very obliging. In the end, I was very pleased with the result and they came in under the quote (even though the quote was 5 months old). I would definitely recommend Restorepro and use them again if it become necessary. They did a great job!

Since I was away, the job was handled by a friend. According to him, Restorepro team were highly capable, polite, and more than competent. It was a messy and complicated job and they handled with well. When I returned the basement was spotless--better than it did when I left before the incident. They responded to all his questions promptly.

While the clean up portion of the show was fine, we should have found someone else for the reconstruction. It didn't seem anyone was managing the project. Communication was terrible. I never really knew what needed to be done or what was going to happen on the days they were scheduled to come out. My husband took a day off work one day and they never showed up. One whole day of work had to be redone because of the poor quality. The final straw was this afternoon , March 13, when I got a collection call from them for their invoice dated March 6 which we literally just received. Um. I'm almost speechless except I found the strength to write this review.

Great experience overall from satrt to finish

We had just moved into our new house, and found the laundry room floor covered in mold. (There had been a carpet under the linoleum that must have been molding for years!) Restorepro responded super quickly, came and gave us a run down on what needed to be done, and fixed it with minimal disruptions. Now our laundry room is mold free, and since they sealed up the concrete, it looks fantastic as well!

Dave was extremely courteous and thoughtful. The work took about a month. `He kept in touch with us during every step of the job and delivered exactly what he promised. Dan who supervised the crew was equally a pleasure to work with. We are both physicians with home offices. They were exceedingly respectful of our need for quiet. We barely heard them. They were very clean and responsible in their day to day operations. The work was completed to our satisfaction as promised. We heartily recommend them. Irene and Clifford Briggin

A real mixed bag. In short, I would recommend RestorePro for the mold removal with caveats but not for the reconstruction. I should mention that the actual work they did was really excellent and this is what saves them from receiving a poorer review from me. My issues were (1) start times and (2) the price for the reconstruction part. (1) I quickly discovered "8:00 to 10:00 arrival" usually meant 10:30 (one subcontractor did arrive early, but most did not). Because I was in a very busy period at work with several critical and time-sensitive projects to complete, I simply could not work easily with this. If you use RestorePro, you need to be very flexible with your own schedule and work around theirs - either take full vacation days (more than one) or find someone who isn't working who can stay at your house. (2) As the job progressed, what needed to be done escalated and the time frame drawn out, and no updated quote was provided as things changed. The invoice for the mold removal, at $1185, was about what was quoted and that was fine (this is why I graded the overall price as "D" instead of "F" - the real grade would be "A" for mold removal and "F" for reconstruction). The original quote for the reconstruction was $1576 and the invoice was $2768 - definitely sticker shock. When I called to pay the invoice and let them know that it was definitely not what I'd expected, Dave did offer to send an itemized quote with the updated cost. But this was after the fact; the work had been done and it had to be paid for, and I just wanted the ordeal to be over and not have to take anymore time off. He had mentioned during the work that the cost was going up, because each subcontractor who budgeted one day to do their part of the work needed two instead, and the walls had to be ripped out as well as the ceiling. But it would have been nice to have received e-mails with specific updates and to see what was escalating and why. My bad for not chasing this info down, but I simply had too much on my plate to add this to it. So again, if you use RestorePro for reconstruction, make sure you stay on top of everything that changes and be aggressive in asking for revised quotes each step of the way.

After finding mold growing on the hardwood floor in our basement, we immediately headed to Angie's List for suggestions for mold remediation. We decided on Restorepro, since they had the highest ratings in this category. I am glad we went with a company that specifically works on mold. I was very nervous about finding mold in the house, especially because someone had been living in that room. We got a quote for 1500 to remove the wood flooring and treat the mold. While taking up the wood flooring, it became very clear that the problem was much larger. The sub floor and sheetrock also had mold. The crew worked in stages, identifying new mold, communicating with us, and then removing the mold. The followed the mold/moisture until it stopped and even did some extra moisture readings around other parts of the basement to be certain that the problem was localized. I was most impressed with the quality of their work and their professionalism. They cleaned up very well after each day and when the project was over. Their air scrubber with a HEPA filter did a great job cleaning out the musty smell and dust. They checked-in with us each day about the progress, either through conversations or comprehensive emails.

Overall I had a good experience. They scheduled the repair around my needs and did good solid work. One thing I did not like is that the first estimate they gave me was just for the remediation and not the reconstruction work so I was left with a big hole in the ceiling for a while until insurance could approve it. They should have given me both estimates at once and not surprised me with the second estimate.

Very professional and helpful work crew. They were very easy to work with and sensitive to our dilemma.

They were a no show for the appointment to assess the project. When I called after the 2 hour appointment window to ask where they were, they said they had left me a message during the weekend asking to move the time to better accommodate their schedules. I did not return their call regarding the request to move the appointment so they didn't show up at the scheduled time (or at the proposed new tm. I did not reschedule the appointment with them thinking, if we already are having scheduling problems than the outlook of the project looked meek.

The work was done well once they were on site. However, they showed up late and were short crew members. There was question of whether they could finish in the time estimated which was the time I had arranged to be away from work. In the end, they did. My main dissatisfaction was with their poor communication. I called to check on the arrival once the due time had passed by quite a bit and was told they were minutes away. Then they showed up an hour later. I had to push to get a sense of what would be done, when, how long steps would take, etc. rather than the crew chief explaining it to me and keeping me informed. At the end of one day, I asked about the work the next day and was told the next step. What they didn't tell me was they would not be there the next day at all but the day after that. I didn't find that out until they didn't show up and I called to follow up on an outstanding question about bringing in someone to look at the foundation. Had I known, I could have gone into work and not taken an unnecessary day off! Ultimately, they did a very good job and I am satisfied with that but the lateness and poor communication were very frustrating.
