We got quotes from the top three Angie's List rated fencing companies in the area, including Reliable. Reliable's price was significantly less than the other two. Dana, the sales rep., visited twice and was highly professional; we received a detailed written proposal a few days later. The job began two weeks later and was completed in 3 1/2 days. The two installers, whose names escape me unfortunately, were excellent. They took real pride in their work and were perfectionists. The work was extremely difficult because of ledge, boulders, and tree roots, but they did not let that deter them from a achieving a perfect installation. The Maximum fence product, including hardware, is durable, functional, and attractive. Only one minor snafu kept Reliable from all perfect scores: On the scheduled last half day, no one from the office called to say they had been tied up on the morning project and would not arrive until the next day. This minor glitch aside, highly recommended.

We were very satisfied with our experience. They were very professional. The project was expensive but I thought it was a tough job; putting pins in a rock ledge so I decided to go with the expensive people. I had just one complaint, they listened to raunchy radio while they were working and I didn't think that was too professional.

I shopped around and found 4 quotes for this sort of job. We found their prices very competitive and they were creative in finding a solution. They were also pleasant to work with. They did a great job and we are happy with what they did.

Reliable Fence Co. offers average quality that is not showy at all in this case. I thought their price was a little high, but all-in-all we were satisfied with their work. They were very prompt and responsive to phone calls and questions. The workers were professional, neat, and cleaned up well.

It was a very straight forward project, which they did with absolutely no problem. I wasn t even there when they did it. They just showed up, took out the old fence, took it away, put up the new one, and left. They did everything I wanted, and there is nothing that they could have done better.

I like this fencing company. My fences look great. They really do. This company worked hard and charged me fairly. They did what they promised. They did very meticulous work too. They did not leave a mess and I thought they just had that level of professionalism I was looking for, so I was satisfied with them.

The estimate was provided within 2 days of the initial on-site visit and the final bill was a little less than the estimate. They completed the work in only 3 consecutive days, and this was a big job. The yard was left in the condition it was found in, and the fence looks great. We have received many compliments from people in the neighborhood. We would definitely recommend Reliable to others.

Overall, great quality fence and the guys who installed the fence knew what they were doing. The installers listened to where I wanted the fence placed and did a great job on a yard that has a sloped grade to it. Very professional looking job. Cleanup could have been a tad better but no complaints overall and would use Reliable again. Had to wait a couple extra weeks for installation but was in no hurry so it wasn't an issue.

Excellent workmanship. Arrived on time as scheduled for both estimate and actual work. Did a good job cleaning up site when finished. Very pleasant to work with.

I'll start by saying that the fence looks good and solid. They installed our fence and did it on time and in the time frame the specified. After it had been installed, we discovered that we could not open the back gate completely because it would hit the steps of our deck. We withheld the 2nd half of our payment, because this was unacceptable. We also had issues with the clean up their crew did. After, several months had passed; they showed up, unannounced and moved the gate post in so the door will swing open. I got home from work to discover my gate nailed shut, dirt and saw dust all over my back yard, the post hole half filled and the front step leading to my back deck with a significant gash in it. I was obviously not pleased. After playing phone tag with our contact, Dana, where he wouldn't leave me his mobile number, and leave messages at my Office number on Saturday, when he had my cell number, I've decided to give up, but I would not use this company again.

Chris Gould immediately responded to my inquiry after I had received an on-line estimate using Reliable's website. He was prompt, professional, and offered advice about the type of fence post to use - one that would last longer and was less expensive than the cedar posts in the original request. I was not in a hurry to do the work (late fall estimate, early spring install). Chris told me that if I changed my mind, they could install during winter, though it would not cost more to wait till spring. Very unusual for someone to tell you waiting won't cost you. I decided to have the work done since weather was mild. The work was scheduled, with just a week's delay, was completed in one day. The fence is perfect in both sections and the job site was left very clean. Part of the work involved building the fence over a large tree stump in the fence line. It looks fantastic. I had two other estimates for this job. Reliable's estimate was cheaper, using same materials.

Job 1: Chris came out to give us a quote. We work full-time so asked him to come out at 7:30 am. He was there at 7:25, professional, thorough, and very nice. Very respectful of our time. Quote is a little high, but we will probably use them because they made such a good and professional impression. Job 2: This company is very professional and responsive. They came out to give us a quote at 7:30am, and arrived 5 minutes early! They were easy to deal with, answered our questions, very responsive, and the fence looks beautiful. We have a very large yard, so this was a big project, but worth every penny.

It was for a 95 Ft fence, and the estimate was for $5500 including a spring discount.

Overall experience was excellent. I submitted a quote request online on 2/22 and received an estimate via email the next day. The online estimate was $2300 - $2600. They were very easy to work with both for scheduling the in person quote and for scheduling the work itself. The work was started on 3/22 and completed on 3/23, and we're very happy with it.

VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. MY FIRST CALL GENERATED A TIMELY VISIT AND ESTIMATE, AND ONCE I SUBMITTED THE CONTRACT, THE FENCE WAS REPAIRED IMMEDIATELY. MY ONLY FRUSTRATION -- AND IT'S A SMALL ONE -- WAS THAT I DIDN'T RECEIVE NOTICE OF THE TIMING OF THE REPAIR AND IT OCCURRED BEFORE DIG SAFE HAD INDICATED THAT IT WAS APPROPRIATE. THE FENCE WAS NOT NEAR ANY UTILITY LINES AND THE REPAIR DID NOT REQUIRE SIGNIFICANT DIGGING, SO LUCKILY THIS WASN'T AN ISSUE.

GREAT RESPONSIVENESS AND PRO DETAILED ESTIMATE. WERE THE CHEAPEST OF THE BUNCH AND HAVE THE NICEST FENCE.

THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE OVER THE PHONE WHICH IS NICE IN ITS TIMELINESS BUT I ALWAYS PUT MORE TRUST IN AN ESTIMATE FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS ACTUALLY SEEN THE SITUATION. I FOUND ANOTHER COMPANY WHO WOULD DO THE WORK FOR HALF THE COST SO I WILL PROBABLY GO WITH THEM. ESTIMATE WAS FOR $820.00.

THE PRICE WAS THE BEST I COULD FIND IN THE CITY CONSIDERING THE LOCATION AND SITE CHALLENGES. THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS EXCELLENT BUT THE PREFABRICATION OF THE MATERIALS WAS POOR. THE ACTUAL WOOD WAS OF POOR QUALITY. THE INSTALLERS WERE ON TIME, POLITE, AND HELPFUL WITH SUGGESTIONS AND OPTIONS RATHER THAN LIMITATIONS. WORK WAS DONE WHILE I WAS GONE, BUT EVERYTHING WAS INSTALLED AS WE HAD DISCUSSED. THERE WAS A FOLLOW-UP CALL WHICH WAS HELPFUL. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF TAKING THEM UP ON AN OFFER TO DO ADDITIONAL STABILIZING OF THE FENCE, BUT I'M HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THEM BACK.

I INITIALLY CHOSE THEM BECAUSE THEY HAD GOOD REPORTS, AND GAVE ME THE LOWEST ESTIMATE. THE STAFF AN CREW WERE FRIENDLY, AND PROFESSIONAL, AND THE FENCE IS BEAUTIFUL. ONE POST WAS PLACED IN A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT SPOT THAN I EXPECTED, AND THEY MOVED IT WITHOUT QUESTION, WHEN I ASKED. AFTER MY INITIAL ESTIMATE, WE MADE A COUPLE OF CHANGES, AND HAD QUESTIONS. EACH TIME WE MET, THEY TRIED TO ACCOMMODATE MY SCHEDULE, AND ARRIVED ON TIME. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

I CONTRACTED WITH HIM IN JULY TO INSTALL THE FENCE. WE DID NOT SEE HIM AGAIN OR GET PHONE CALLS RETURNED UNTIL HE SHOWED UP AT 6PM, AUGUST 31ST TO DROP OFF THE MATERIALS. HE STATED THAT HE ONLY LIKED TO WORK IN ONE CITY AT A TIME, AND HE WOULD BE BACK. I HAVE HEARD NOTHING SINCE, AND HE DOESN'T RETURN PHONE CALLS.

BEAUTIFUL JOB, PROMPT, RESPONSIVE, HELPFUL IN MAKING DECISIONS, AND THE PRICE WAS 40% LESS THAN THE OTHER ESTIMATES WE GOT. WE'RE THRILLED.

THE INSTALLERS WERE VERY POLITE & ATTENTIVE. THEY CLEANED THE WORK AREA AT THE END OF EACH DAY AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. (LESS IMPORTANT, BUT GOOD TO KNOW: BEWARE OF THE COUNTER MAN WHO HANDLES CALLS, WHEN WE TOLD HIM ANGIE'S LIST RECOMMENDED THEM, HE RESPONDED WITH A SARCASTIC "WOO-HOO" & ALSO GAVE INCORRECT INFORMATION ON START TIME & DIDN'T PASS ON MESSAGES.)

THEY WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS, EVEN INSTALLED IN THE RAIN!
