Reliable The Fence People

Reliable came out right away to give an estimate and had helpful suggestions for us. We needed to clear some trees and brush and were told to get back to Reliable when we were ready to install. We had a few communication errors as to when the fence would be started but Reliable was always quick to make it right. The fence was installed quickly and professionally and looks great!

Reliable came out and measured the job, and gave me an estimate on the spot for the type of fence I chose. They had a range of options to choose from. They were responsive as we had to delay the start of the job by two weeks. The estimator came out in the pouring rain to mark the job, prior to our notifying Digsafe. The job was completed in two days, with top-notch workmanship.

These guys were great. I called them, the estimator showed up when he said he would, sketched out and confirmed what we wanted done and gave us a price. The install crew showed up when we were at work, did the work and cleaned up. When we got home we had a -perfect- fence. This thing is solidly installed and so straight and level it makes all the surrounding fence look bad by comparison. They did great work. It was about 10% higher than some of the other quotes I got, but worth every penny.

Their price was adequate and they were prompt. They actually called us back to check on it.

Dana came out to look at the area we wanted to fence. He showed us marketing materials that clearly identified their types of fences offered. He measured the area and provided a written, clear, quote, with two options we requested. We later chose to go with Reliable since they had a combative price and seemed to understand our project. We sent in the signed paperwork with deposit. We also called Dana to address two questions and he was very responsive. Promptly we received a call to confirm and received an estimated date of installation. The week of installation someone called to notify us of the date of arrival. Two gentlemen arrived at 8:30, on time, and worked a better part of the day installing our fence and gates. They were friendly, professional, and attentive to my preferences of the placement of the fence. We are extremely pleased with their service. - I would hire them again.

They were prompt and they delivered on what they estimated.

They came out promptly and gave me an estimate. Then it took them awfully long time to show up and install the posts. One day I realized they had completed the job. As it was an outdoor work I left it to them to come and install it whenever they could. They completed the work. The posts look great, solid and lovely. It is better than the ones I had.

The job went very well from initial estimate to the final installation. The gentleman who gave the initial estimate was on time and gave me some good tips on how to configure the fence. The estimate was comparable to those I received from other companies. Two installers put in the fence on two of the hottest days of the summer. They took the time to walk through the job with me and to clarify what I wanted, especially in some difficult terrain. They were courteous and professional and did an excellent job. The fence looks great and keeps my dog from escaping!

They were great! They were prompt in finishing the work. We actually had them on a very tight deadline and they were able to finish the work in that short period of time. They did great work. Their prices were extremely reasonable. They communicated well with us throughout the entire project.

Perfect job and can't recommend higher. Price was lower than other companies that gave us estimates and excellent job and service. All staff wonderful to deal with. We had one gate we wanted a change on and they quickly returned to do the work.

They showed up as promised. The installation went very smoothly. When one of the cedar rails (top trim) and post caps warped they came and fixed within several days of our call. The job looks great.

Overall my experience with Reliable was a good one. The salesman was knowledgeable and priced out a few different options for us. (I would definitely recommend visiting the showroom before you make a decision on the style. It definitely helps to actually see the options in person. ) Reliables quotes were competitive with the others we got. For the particular type of fence we got Reliable was by far the lowest while on other styles they were higher. Once we gave the go ahead the work was scheduled out about 3 weeks or so. The quality of the fence is excellent. A few of the pressure treated posts looked a little ?worn?. The edges on these posts were brown in color but it was only a few and I can live with that. The guys who came to install it were friendly and worked hard, only breaking to take a half hour lunch. Our property is not level and the guys made sure to level the fence as best as they could. Where the grade was at its steepest they were sure to step the fence up so it flowed smoothly going up the grade. They removed all the old fencing and left my yard in good shape considering it was a construction zone. It took 3 days to complete the job. I am very pleased!

overall the fence is very nice. the service was prompt and the installers were very friendly. we did have some issues after the job was complete, but they were quick to respond and returned to fix them. My only advice to a potential customer would be to survey the job very well for anything that doesn't look right before the team leaves. This way you can ask them to fix it without having them have to come back - which they very willingly did, but it could have been easier if I had pointed out the issues during the job. Also, keep your plans available and make sure they have the right stock before they put it in.

With the exception of not returning our phone calls initially, everything else was excellent. Chris came out to the house on time, gave us some great advice (using a 5 ft fence instead of a 6 ft), and did the estimate on site. We even got a discount from the company for paying in full on the day of completion. The best part was that the work was complete ONE full week before they had estimated that they would start.

I set up an appointment and the salesman was on time. He looked over the site and discussed their product and work practices with me. He was thorough and professional. This company was my 2nd choice because of price and reputation. I ended up going with another company, though because they had closest to the style I wanted and the installation and guarantee were better.

After receiving a coupon in the mail for a considerable early season discount, I called to make an appointment for an estimate. I took an hour off from work around lunch to meet the estimator that did not show up. I called the office and they apologized and explained that it was a computer glitch that led to the no-show. I re-scheduled for a week later and the estimator did show up this time, although he was 5-10 minutes late. The price was $50 less than a competitor but I went with the competition because they showed up on time. The gentleman that did the estimating was very professional, courteous. However a computer glitch made them not as reliable as their name suggests. The first impression (or lack thereof) cost them a job this time around.

They provided good value, set our expectations appropriately and showed up on time. Out of the three Angie's list providers that we got estimates from, their's was the cheapest by far. On the day of the job, they executed just as we had discussed in our set up meetings.

They came over and checked out our property and gave us 4 different options for fencing on the spot. Dana was able to show us pictures and give us samples of the wood or plastic that could be used. The fence was installed even sooner than we were told it would be and it was done in less than a day. The installers were very thorough and checked with us about a few things and cleaned everything up after them.

They were just excellent. They were efficient and arrived on time, they were very polite and were very nice guys. They did what they said they were going to do.

The salesman was very friendly and knowledgeable. They actually fit us in before we were scheduled to have our fence done. This was great for us since we were close enough to them that they could come by and do that. It did take them about three or four days after the fence was installed to get the gates in. However, it looked great! We would hire them again for future service.

Reliable was indeed reliable, coming for the estimate right on time, providing a clear, detailed written proposal in 2 days. Their price and the timing was perfect. I went to the Woburn showroom to look at their product which was top notch. However, they do not prestain and after talking to a few people, including my house painter, I had decided to have it stained before installation so Reliable was out of the running.

Very well. Estimate was very quick; ordering was easy. Installation was complete within two weeks of initial call.

Great. Jim Dever came right out to provide the estimate and was available to answer all of my questions. He was also very patient with my request for several quote options based on the additions we were thinking about. Installation was within 2 weeks of placing the order and the crew that came out couldn't have been more polite and professional. They even continued to work through the rain to get the job done. The price was mid-range based on other quotes but we feel with the quality of the work and product and the high level of customer service that we got more than we paid for.

I called for an estimate and Reliable scheduled an appointment about a week later. The estimator arrived promptly and quickly took our information. We had an old fence on a retaining wall that we wanted to remove it and replace with a vinyl fence. We received a quote in the mail about 4 days later. The quote was for both a vinyl and chain link fence. The price was approximately the same another company except the other quote did not include removal and disposal of the old fence, so we decided to go with Reliable. The job was scheduled within two days. The crew arrived promptly on time and did the job in approximately 4 hours. They were very polite and professional.

THEY WERE VERY PROMPT COMING OUT TO GIVE AND ESTIMATE, WHICH WAS A CLEAR ESTIMATE. WE WAITED APPROXIMATELY A YEAR AFTER THE ESTIMATE BEFORE WE DECIDED TO GO AHEAD WITH THE PROJECT. THEY WERE ABLE TO MAKE A FEW MINOR ADJUSTMENTS TO IT AND BEGAN WORK WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY DID A GOOD JOB ON THE FENCE, I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.
