Quality Roofing by Larry did excellent work! His crew arrived on schedule and did outstanding work including cleanup after the job was done. We would highly recommend them..

They came promptly with many workers. They finished the job 1:00. They cleaned up outside in all the areas that old roof tiles fell. Only issue though we didn’t realize it, our attic space had some debris we noticed later and we had to clean it out. But they would not have been aware of that.

I called Larry after reading all these positive reviews and it started out great. I Called on 10/26 and Larry answered immediately. We discussed what I was looking to do and he said he would stop by and look at the house on Monday/Tuesday and leave some information for me. I never received any information so I called him back on 10/31 and he said he has been sick and hasn't been able to look at my house. I understand that things come up and timelines have to be changed but it's now 11/29 and I never heard anything from him.

The project went well. Roof replaced in a single day using a team of 5. New roof looks good. Thorough clean up. Questions and problems quickly and thoroughly addressed.

I called 5 highly rated GAF Master Elite contractors for an estimate. 2 of them never returned my phone calls. Out of the remaining 3 Larry was the only one who knew what he was talking about, probably because he personally used to install roofs in the past. He wasn't just a salesman. He patiently answered all my questions and explained installation process. On my request he presented evidence of liability insurance and workman's comp. I had some follow-up questions and never had to wait for more than an hour for Larry to return my phone calls. He was very accommodating in terms of scheduling the installation. The job was completed in one day. I actually watched the roof being installed and Larry explained pretty much every step. This gave me extra confidence. The price was very reasonable as well.

I called Larry and he sent his guys out immediately to take a look and give me an estimate. The estimate was great, so we agreed to have them do the work. Then, the next day, Larry realized that his guys had forgotten to add in material costs, or something to that effect, so he quoted a price twice as high. This was before we signed anything, and we inquired into why the price went up. Larry was amazing--he figured out the misunderstanding, but told us they would do the work for the original price they verbally quoted. And they did it in a very timely manner. I would absolutely use them again. Very honest, professional people.

What an honest salesman. is it possible in this day and age to feel like you met an honest person, I thought not....but i was wrong! Larry is as honest as the day is long. He could have taken our money and run, however, he chose to write up a proposal based on the square footage of the house and then take a look at the roof. After inspection he took the high road and told us the truth....we did not need a new roof at this time! Would I recommend this company, you bet! Would I recommend you meeting and dealing with Larry, you bet. He is professional in every sense, gives you what you need and is an outstanding person.

They did a roof replacement for us on Oct. 3rd 2012 in Winchester MA. Without prior notification to us, they came unexpectedly and started the roof project in rain on that day. The crew kept working on the roof in darkness with poor visibility till around 8pm when they completed the work. They never pulled the permit for the roof replacement. This is a violation to our contract. We have contacted Quality roofing many times and informed Winchester Town building department about the violation of contract. Quality roofing never responded to our request for pulling the permit. We also had damages on our property from the roof project and a leak on the ceiling of our top level. Documentation available upon request.

On time, fast completion, good cleanup. Always fast communication.

We had an excellent experience with the company, out new roof and new chimney with service and cost meet our expectation. The Golden Pledge Warranty will let us sleep with no worry (25 year labor warranty from GAF!). We strongly recommend the company to other customers!

Larry and Luis came when they said, did what they said, and it looks great. No more leaks, no more ceiling problems. I'm very pleased with both jobs and will use them again. Larry's services have been a standout.

Vendor is patient and will help you sort out what you need to decide your best solution. Work quality is decent. Needed to keep reaching out to vendor to complete work, often not available.

Some shingles fell down in the aftermath of hurricane Sandy, and we had a few problem areas to inspect. Garret came out to make an estimate. He went over a variety of options, was generous with his time, and I appreciated that he didn't try to upsell any unneeded work. When Luis came out to perform the work, he took some pictures to show before/after. IIRC, we had planned to pull up the ridge vent and inspect, but when he was up on the roof, Luis found some more likely culprits for a leak and decided this was not necessary. Again, I appreciate them taking the most logical course rather than doing unneeded work. The only hiccup was a missed appointment for our first estimate (I made the appointment with Larry, and it didn't get relayed to Garret) and a long (but not overdue) time between estimate and appointment.

I contacted Larry at the suggestion of a friend who had a great experience with his crew. Larry was great to work with and responded immediately with a quote and estimate of the time required. My house was built in 1893 and has a very steep pitch with gables, etc. but this was not a problem for them. We had other contractors who gave higher estimates, hemmed and hawed and said that they needed time to ramp up, it takes a week to pull a permit, etc. Larry got the signed contract one day, had the permit the next and they started that day. They took a total of 3 days to complete the work (they had to wait 3 days to complete it due to rain) but the elapsed time was just 3 days. They completely covered my yard, porch, and cleaned up thoroughly after. Besides the dumpster being there an extra day for pickup, it is like they were never there, that the roof magically appeared. I have done roofing before and understand what is involved in the process and Larry exceeded my expectations. His foreman, Gustavo, was terrific to work with (he was onsite the whole time managing the process). We had the usual concerns about clean up, flashing installation, etc. but he was kind, patient, and took care of everything that we asked of him. I highly recommend Larry for any roofing needs you have. He is extremely professional, honest, upfront, fully insured, and very patient and kind. He will work with you and provide you with what you need and will counsel you on the best way to solve an issue and get the work done (and not insisting only on using the most expensive way as some contractors will do!)

Larry came out to look at my roof. He quoted me a price that seemed reasonable compared to other roofers. His price was towards the middle of the estimates. We settled on a date in Jan/Feb. He and his crew showed up and began work. First the mason re-built the chimneys and capped them, then the roofers came a few days later to strip the old roof. They removed three layers to reveal a very old roof deck. The house was built in the 1890s, so I wasn't surprised. Larry gave me a reasonable price for new decking and replaced it all. It's been eight months since and the roof looks great. So far we've had no issues and are pleased.

Larry arrived to give us an estimate. Of all the roofers he was the most professional. He was very clear his prices might be a bit more than other roofers, but he also doesn't add on additional costs (i.e. replacement of a rotted board). Given his price was 'mid-range', we decided to move forward. The crew showed up on the scheduled day and put on the new roof very quickly. They cleaned up after and I saw very little evidence of their work when I returned home. The only issue was there was refuse left in the driveway where the dumpster was placed. Larry sent someone the next day to take care of it. The only issue I had was Larry called me and asked me to pay additional costs as he had estimated the size of our roof incorrectly. I thought this was a bit unprofessional.

Roofs by Larry pesented a bid and i gave the job to them because he promised to cover my inground pool.I explained to him I had spent my entire weeks vacation draining,power washing,preparing this pool and yard for use that summer. They were three days late from the original start date,when i got home from work i found they had never even covered my pool with a tarp no matter the plywood and tarps as promised.none of my property was protected and the pool was full of nails and shingles.Of course Larry was out searching for the next job,and never returned any calls.Even when I informed him I wouldn't pay until the pool was cleaned.Three months went by.since the roofing season was finished,he called and then had time to clean the damage he caused.I'm still pulling nails from my pool. And the roof leaks,But i don't want him near my property.

Larry was good at explaining prices and the work. We were looking for someone to give some advise. I have to believe that most clients have little idea about things related to square footage and air flow or that the National roofing contractors association has forms and standards to help you choose a roofer. We checked ALL of his references. He has never asked us to supply a reference as I think that we now know more than most and were demanding up front and not completely taken with his work. Most other contractors just showed for quote saying little or coming by when we were not there and mailing a quote. I would have liked for him to impress upon me the mess inside the attic that they would create as I did not adequately cover items in the attic to avoid the mess. This includes having debris fall on the insulation and assorted other items. Yes I should have known but it still would have been nice for him to say something. I am still a year later trying to clean up the mess. Initially I learned from other contractors about the importance of air flow in the attic. National roofing contractors assoc has a standard measure per square feet of attic to determine the amount of venting needed for proper air flow. The panels / roofing boards that Larry replaced on the roof itself seemed to go OK but since then I have found a few that were cracked/split either before or during installation and a few other old ones that could have been replaced and which may have cracked/split as they were installing the roof. Pricing on the skylights seemed very competitive. Installation seems to be OK....no leaks yet Choosing a shingle that qualified for the energy rebate for the full amount seemed to be good. Since installation I have seen more than what I thought is the normal amount of shingle granuales coming off the roof. Since I have extensions on the downspouts I have seen a lot of these granuales since they are easy to spot being white. Cleanup seemed fine. I am not sure about the permitting process or inspections since I didn't see either but I am guessing that it all happened. It would be good to have them show it to the client. Follow up for a piece of the roof crown that came off. I thought that Larry would come by to discuss the granuales issue when they came to fix the roof but sent worker to fix.

They did a fantastic job. He is exceedingly thorough in his estimate procedures and efficient. He will give me the estimate the day he comes to my house. He is honest, affordable and the quality of both his workers was very clean, respectful, and the finished product exceeds all expectations. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

I needed a new roof put on BAD! I called around and interviewed a number of roofers, but no one matched Larry's professionalism and willingness to explain everything in detail. He was patient and clear in his explanations and really seemed like he cared about doing the job right. His crew showed up and did the job promptly. I've had no issues with the roof since the job was done even through what has been a tough winter. I would happily recommend Larry to friends and family.

His crew arrived on time, they work all day and finished the job in 1 day as promise. There was no surprise in extra cost. While other companies I interviewed tried to charge me additional $720 for an extra layer of shingle, Larry said, everything is included, don't worry about that. Another company tried to get me to pay $300 if I go with Energy Star, Larry said, there is no additional cost. So, overall, not only his price was reasonable, average $1300 lower than several contractors I interviewed, he did a great job. There was a few confusions while the roof was being done, the issues weren't explicitly written down on the contract, however, as Larry promised, he addressed them immediately. Really satisfy with his service. Note: additional $180 is due to the unforeseen cost of wood and labor of additional work I asked him to do, not related to roof estimate. So, for the roof, I only paid $5520.

He did an excellent job. There were a couple of little problems afterwards but he was prompt to attend to them. The price was unbeatable. It was a good quality job. The closest estimate to him was at least $2,000 more. I have already recommended him to a couple of people. They answer their phones and show up when they are supposed to. They got the job done on time and the price was right. They stuck by their warranty 100 percent.

Our roof started linking in several areas after a strong storm pounded our region for 4 days. We had several contractors over to give estimates and provide some insight as what they thought the best direction was that we should take. Several contractors pushed hard and tried to sell us on the most extensive and expensive route to take which included sheathing the entire roof with plywood regardless of the health of some of the areas as apposed replacing the areas that needed it. If your reading this, chances are that your roof has failed in some way and you feel as we did which was stressed and anxious to fix our home. Larry stopped over and calmly measured the attic, took a look at some of the structure and gave a very honest answer. He did not see the point of sheathing parts which were still viable, and explained that when they come across a part that needed it, he would replace the wood at no cost. Larry was very was good about giving us room to consider the best course of action and his calm demeanor really started to set us at ease. For us, the decision was easy after meeting with Larry and so far we feel as though we made the absolute best decision. His cost was very competitive to say the least, and the final cost was exactly that which Larry wrote on his estimate when he stopped over to meet with us and examine the roof. He told us the cost, and that's what it was regardless of how many plank replacements his crew had to perform. Larry's hard working crew did a superb job. They were friendly, worked swiftly and completed the entire roof in one day. The roof looks amazing. They installed cobra ridge vent along the peak to allow for attic ventilation, as well as a new kitchen stove vent (the existing one was rotted). The crew also did a wonderful job cleaning up as well (from what I have read here, cleaning up is one of the gripes that seems fairly common). Only time will tell how the new roof will endure but so far we are very happy with the decision we made to go with Quality roofing by Larry.

Larry and his team, headed by Claudio, did a terrific job from start to finish. His price was by far the lowest of the estimates we received, which initially made me a little nervous. But we peppered him with questions and checked most of his references and were reassured that they did quality work. They certainly did. They were able to start soon after we met, after a day's delay due to weather. They worked quickly and cleanly, doing everything possible to protect our gardens and clean up at the end of each day, which is important as we have young children. The result was beautiful. We have a difficult roof, especially the turret, which is three stories off the ground, but the worked quickly and meticulously. We now have a solid roof, which looks terrific!

The roof looks good but instead of taking one day it took three and they did not remove the dumpster as stated when finished sat on a drive way we share with all the neighbors. A couple of days later when sitting on porch noticed black marks on the siding on house so we called them and they were to come right out and clean it but it took two weeks. Their work ethics are not all that great.
