Paul John and Son came highly recommended and the entire experience was very positive. I filled out a contact form on their website and had a call back within a couple of hours. The owner, Paul, arrived on time the very next day and provided a quote as well as samples of the materials he planned to use. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable and personable he was. He also offered a very long list of references if i wanted them. After receiving several quotes, I chose PJand S because they came recommended from several different people and the quality of materials and installation were very important to me. The project was also very fairly priced. Some of the other companies we looked at offered the lower-end types of underlayment and ridge vent filters and were really and quot;pushyand quot;. The crew arrived on the day of the roof installation, on time and did an excellent job and left the place immaculate. They were professional, undistruptive and we love the look of the new roof and are confident that it will out-live it's warrantee. Overall great experience-- Very responsive, excellent work, and very pleasant to deal with. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them!

PaulJohn and Sons did a superb job and I am thoroughly delighted with my experience. They do excellent work and are in high demand so I had to wait a while for an opening but I'm very glad I did. The mild winter meant they could do my roof in February. They arrived just when they said they would with a large and very professional team. They worked until after dark on the first day and finished the job on the second day. They were extremely polite, informative and neat throughout the job.

After evaluating, said the roof needed a lot more work (only 8 years old--we know it has problems). Came back with an estimate for replacing half the roof, which didn't seem worthwhile to me after 8 years. Agreed to just do the flashing and repair the major problem areas. Then was kept home waiting for three days straight while they were no-shows, on the last day wouldn't even respond to voice mails/emails any more. Told them we were moving on.

Superbly. All work was done professionally, work areas were cleaned up and the quality was exceptional. I have recommended Paul's team many, many times. He went above and beyond our roofing project by helping to install a weather vane on our turret and used their ladder to get a huge TV up to our 3rd floor. BUT...within the past two years I have been unable to reach Paul by phone. His answering service takes messages, but calls are not returned. At one point last year I think I left 5-6 messages and never received a call from anyone. Either the answering service needs a change or Paul needs some office help. Non-communication is VERY frustrating.

Contractor never responded to the email, so after nearly two weeks, I'm giving up on him.

Our condo association has been ripped off by terrible contractors in the past, so we spend extra time and effort now to get good recommendations. This contractor was a delight! We were delayed several times because of the weather (so rainy!), but the company always called, apologized, and set a new date. When the crew finally did arrive, they quickly stripped off the old shingles and plywood. Paul showed me the areas that had rotted through. He and his crew worked through blazing heat and had the entire roof replaced within 3 days. Worth the wait! The entire crew was so courteous, on time, clean, and completely professional. I would heartily recommend Paul John and Son Roofing Company for anyone or any company looking for a quality job at a reasonable price. Very, very pleased with this contractor, to say the least.

They did a great job. They couldn't have been nicer and couldn't have done a better job. They were very professional. They are very clean and did a great job on the roof. I like that they guarantee the work. He had a relatively low comparatively.
