It went better than expected. The locksmith was able to do it faster than I expected and the keys work perfectly!

He was nice enough, but completely unprepared to do the job. He told me that he could not reprogram the remote because he didn't have the machine. He then begins to blame me for not giving him enough notice. I said I would come back when he did have the machine. I called him 2 weeks later and asked what time would be good. I showed up, yet he was not there. I called him. He blames me again because he said I should have called ahead. I told him I did call ahead when I scheduled. He then complains that he is too busy for me and that he was doing this out of the "goodness of his heart". I remained calm and asked him when he would be available. He said to call him back in a couple of hours. He is way over his head. This was a simple job. DO NOT USE this Company!

I went to Locks and Keys because I needed to have all of my locks changed. I had them come out, and the installation wasn't done properly. The keys didn't work after they re-keyed the locks. I called and complained that I wanted them to come out and fix the problem. I was told there was nothing that could be done, and this would not go further. I said I was unhappy with the service, and he said he was the one who did the work and that I would not call back to complain about the service. Awhile later, I heard that individual was no longer working there so I called back. I spoke with a woman, and explained the problem to her. She said they would take care of it and would set up an appointment. They said they wanted something in writing regarding my previous complaint with the individual who is no longer working there. I said I felt uncomfortale doing that since he knows my keys and house. They said the owner would call me, which they never did. I've been sick lately and haven't pushed the issue. It's been over a year since I had heard from them. I don't think it's fair to pay for the full amount for a service, and then not get it done properly. I would no go to them again, and will be going to the BBB about this.

Very responsive. Called early in the morning and the job was done by noon. The price ended up being more than I would have guessed given the relatively short amount of time spent and parts required, but was in line with what they quoted. Very professional and courteous. Would recommend to others.

I called up Locks and Keys because the keyhole on my front door was rotating to one side independently of the rest of the mechanism. I was told that a locksmith would be by that day and informed of the base cost to have someone come to take a look at my lock. Rick arrived soon afterwards. I demonstrated the problem and he was quickly able to show me what was wrong. Rick quickly gave my door a completely new doorknob with a lock fitted to my old key. He stayed while I tested out the new lock, which turned out to be a good thing because the new lock wasn't lining up with the doorframe and the locking mechanism wasn't engaging. Rick had this fixed in no time and the door is locking perfectly now. Rick was very friendly throughout the job and was very nice to my dog as well. I was very satisfied with the service and will definitely be using this company again in the future.

Rick from Locks and Keys contact me the day I had placed the call. Upon describing the work, he gave me an estimate right over the phone and also told me about an upfront cost of $65.00 for getting to the residence. He also gave me advance notice of his inability to make the original time and day due to extreme weather conditions. He was very professional and worked quickly and efficiently. He installed the latch and deadbolt which I supplied. All the work was performed in line with expectation and there were no hidden costs. A very good experience overall.

Their work was good. They charged a "trip charge", which is best to inquire about in advance.

John & his staff were amazing!! I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are licensed, insured, & are a member of the Massachusetts Locksmith Association. His employee, Mike, was very professional & educated in locksmithing. I had a very bad experience with a locksmith I hired the day before &, for my safety, needed to have the locks changed. Beware of these internet scams, which hire illegal locksmiths, & rip you off. I had a lock put in that this company said was one of the top dead bolts on the market. It ended up being a $5 lock & they charged me a fortune. DO NOT USE TUFF STUFF LOCKS!!! It is very important to use a locksmith that has a local store, & has the knowledge & integrity, like John & his staff. Don't look for the cheapest service, you get what you pay for!! When it comes to the safety of your home, or car, Please use Locks & Keys. They are the best out there & you can trust them & the work they do!!!

THEY WERE VERY PROMPT, THEY CAME RIGHT OUT. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THE ONLY THING IS THEY WERE A LITTLE EXPENSIVE.

I DID GET A AAA DISCOUNT AND AAA COVERED $100 OF THE COST. EXTREMELY IMPRESSED AND GUY WAS REALLY NICE.
