Joe Gore Master Electrician

He arrived promptly at 9:00 am as scheduled. As we described above, he walked around the house to check on all the issues we raised. Made an assessment of what needed to be done, and made all the fixes we requested. He was very professional and took the time to explain what he was doing. We were so happy with his work that we have scheduled another appointment with him to come back and repair a broken bathroom fan.

We called Joe to fix our broken doorbell and move a cable wire to an interior wall. First, he helped us figure out that we already had a cable on the interior wall (who knew!) and then he took care of the doorbell in 5 minutes. Easy as pie and the invoice came in the next day.

Joe is a top-notch electrician and very professional. He responded immediately on Angie's List to my request for an estimate, came to our house on time for the free estimate, and provided the estimates by email the same day. I bought a "Big Deal" which provided a slight discount on the projects. Joe arrived on time, worked efficiently and competently, and finished ahead of schedule, and at slightly lower cost than his original estimate. The internal recessed light fixture continued to give us problems, none of which was Joe's fault, yet he came back twice to fix the issue without asking for additional payment. You can see he stands by his work and takes pride in his craft. I will definitely call on Joe as our preferred electrician.

Joe was able to dovetail his several visits with the contractors, so that his part was done in the proper sequence, with no lost time. He was very personable and took pride in his work. He was also very neat, completely cleaning up after himself, something that the contractors even noticed and commented favorably on. He was on time for most of the visits, and when he was held up a few times, he always texted and let me know. The quality of his work was excellent. I would definitely use him again. In fact, I have already booked him for some additional work.

Joe was amazing from the estimate through the completion of the work. He fit the estimate time into our busy schedule and had it ready for us the next day. He was booking out a few weeks (I can totally understand why after our great experience) so put ourselves on his calendar. He actually recommended buying one of the dimmers on Amazon ourselves because it was cheaper than he could get them for! The day of the service came around and Joe was onsite promptly at 8:30am and worked throughout the day on our laundry list of items to update. Everything was completed to our satisfaction and we will definitely be using Joe again in the future!

Whole job went great. I fell off a ladder and bent some metal on the fixture and pulled the fixture away from the mounting box. Joe determined that it would be better to replace the fixture rather than try to reuse the damaged fixture, and quickly replaced the fixture and its box.

We initially hired Joe Gore with an Angie's List coupon for electrical service. We liked his impeccable work and professionalism so much that we hired him back multiple times to complete a punch list of electrical problems around the house. We so appreciated his advice to help solve problems that developed during a new lighting project, his flexibility and willingness to work with our contractor to get the job done, and his willingness to tackle any job, large or small. We will definitely use him again, and we highly recommend him for any type of electrical work!

Bought a big deal for electrical work for an hour to repair the driveway light which stopped working last winter, which I was suspecting due to heavy snow and water going in the unit. Joe found out that was indeed the cause of the issue and the light unit was completely damaged. We agreed on replacing it with a simpler unit where water might not get in. While he was replacing it, he found out the ground wire was live not only on the unit but all the outlets in my house. He went over and beyond to find the cause of this new issue and turns out there was a nail going through some wires in the attic which was causing the short circuit and made the ground wire live. I really appreciate all his hard work and finding an issue which probably was there for years even before we bought the house. Thank you!

We recently moved into a town house condo built in 1986 when the style was not to have ceiling lights (a problem for me since I like my rooms well lit!). Other electrical fixtures were original and out of date, and the previous owner had installed several lights that were clearly not up to code. I had contacted Joe Gore in Sept and he got right back to me to let me know he was very busy and couldn't take on any new work until at least Oct. We were not in a hurry and assumed he was busy because he was good so were willing to wait. Also, we felt that someone who is quick to get back to you and is square with you about his availability would also be reliable.....and we were right on both counts. We got together in Oct, worked out a job description, reached an agreement, and the work got underway in Nov. We are so glad we waited. I can't say enough good things about his work, his reliability, and his personality. It was immediately clear he is very good at what he does: he works steadily and quickly, he is very neat, cleans up any mess, and kept us immediately apprised of problems as they came up. We kept adding more work to the original job which he took on good-naturedly and in a timely manner. He kept on schedule (even with the added work), showed up when he said he would, and the one time he had to change a date (the other electrician he was partnering with for 2 ceiling light installations had a scheduling problem) he let us know well in advance. Joe is also very pleasant, easy to talk with, and comfortable to be around, which is important when someone is in your home for a long stretch. We highly recommend him...on a scale of 1 to 10, we rate him a 20!

We both tried to get puck lights to replace old ones but can't get them from a suppler anymore. will call Joe to rewire new ones in. I liked Joe very much he was prompt, polite and professional.

It took Joe under an hour to complete the task. He explained the work he performed and discussed re wiring options for knob and post. He was honest and professional.

Joe was a breath of fresh air among local tradesmen. He arrived on time, was friendly, professional and honest. All questions were answered courteously and the caliber of his work was impressive. Our two porch lights had not worked for several months. Joe's troubleshooting uncovered a wire problem that he quickly corrected. There were also moth bodies accumulated within the housings and he cleaned those out as well. The second problem was a kitchen wall outlet that hadn't worked since a different electrician had worked on our circuit breaker box, last summer. Joe made sure that the problem wasn't located in the kitchen itself, then he went to work on the circuit box. In short (unintentional pun) order, Joe traced the problem to the earlier electrician's work. A connection had been made to insulation rather than wire. This was fixed and, in under an hour, Joe was done. My impression of Joe Gore couldn't be higher. As a man, he's a down to earth, helpful and decent guy. As an electrician, he's the best: professional, neat, punctual, reasonable in his pricing and honest. I highly recommend Joe Gore Master Electrician to anyone and everyone. Joe is extremely professional. He answered my call within 2 hours, made in appointment for the following week, and came exactly when he said he would. I showed him the problem, expecting a multi-$1000 repair requiring relaying a wire conduit to the detached garage. After inspecting the (admittedly old) circuit breaker box, he located the detached wire and repaired it. He left a very happy home owner in his wake. Thanks Joe!

Joe was on time to start the project and was able to finish the job ahead of schedule. The new work looks neat and professional and Joe ensured that the work space was well cleaned prior to leaving. I have since asked Joe to provide estimates for electrical work need around the house.

It went very well. The chandelier took a lot of care and time. Joe was precise and did a neat job. The vent installation was also complex. Joe advised us of issues ahead of time. Again the installation was neat.

This was not a huge job but I couldn't do it. Joe did what was needed and went a step by inspecting circuit board how hous was set up. He made recommendations but didn't push for more work. I highly recommend Joe Gore for an electrician, I will not hesitate to call him again if ever needed.
