Joe Gore Master Electrician

Joe came on time, was able to do everything that was needed, quickly and cleanly. When I had my kitchen redone last year, Joe did the electrical, and the construction crew told me he is the neatest electrician they have ever seen, and very knowledgeable. He is also very responsive when you call.

We had to make an appointment a few weeks in advance, but I take that as a sign that Joe is in high demand and does quality work. Joe arrived for our appointment right on time and got right to work. He quickly identified the problem with our ungrounded outlet and re-wired the outlet via access to our basement. All of this was done in under 45 minutes. Joe also took a look at our electrical panel and gave his professional opinion on the sizing in relation to the needs of the house - he didn't attempt to oversell us and told us it was fine as-is. I also asked Joe about a hypothetical project down the road, and he was able to provide helpful feedback and a rough estimate of the cost. Overall, Joe was punctual, professional and quickly solved our problems. The cost of the repairs was also much lower than I expected. We would definitely hire Joe again.

Joe was incredible. He addressed every situation with thought. He helped me to determine where fixtures should go, giving me time to think over my options without rushing me. I often asked him what he would do in his own house, and i completely trusted his answers. He was willing to install a pop up outlet in my granite countertop, which he had never done before; happy to have the chance to add a new item to his repertoire. He also was patient with me when I wanted to change the height or position of a fixture. Aside from the kitchen project, we asked him to check out some soffit lights in our family room that hadn't been working for a while. He located the hidden transformer, determined that it was burned out and installed a new one. He worked quietly around the other contractors and thoroughly cleaned up. He told us when to expect him and gave us his phone number. He lined everything up perfectly and took great pride in his work. I WISH THERE WERE MANY MORE TRADESMEN LIKE JOE!!!

Joe is great, very punctual and even worked through a nasty heatwave. He's good at calling you back, unlike most contractors. His worked was quickly signed off by the inspector.

Joe was able to find time to squeeze me in and it went very well. Major checked the outlet and made sure it was working. Me installed and uninstalled a timer switch and then reinstalled the original switch. He's a very pleasant, thoughtful professional. I would hire him again without a question.

We have only been in our condo for 1 year and noticed we were having trouble with our air conditioner cooling the house sufficiently. An HVAC technician said we needed to contact an electrician since the wiring from the condenser unit was not up to code and probably had not been since the original installation (which we estimate to be 30 yrs ago, since that 's when our condo association was developed). The wiring had never been encased in tubing, was degrading, and was so poorly connected that a mouse had crawled into the breaker box, built a nest, and shorted out one of the wires. We immediately contacted Joe, who by now has become our go-to electrician since we moved here. We have used him several times already and always find him to be outstanding, both professionally and personally. His rates are more than fair, his work is impeccable, he responds immediately when we reach out to him, and he is very personable. I honestly don't think we've ever had any contractor work for us for whom we have higher regard.

Joe was punctual and very professional in approaching the job. He helped us to decide on switch locations and described all of the work he was going to do. It's always a challenge to do new electrical work in an old house like ours, and Joe and his fellow electrician came up with creative solutions when they ran into challenges, always keeping us posted about the work plan. They did a great job cleaning up, and the new lighting looks fantastic.

After purchasing the deal, Joe emailed me to let me know he cannot service NH as he is not licensed there (and Nashua was out of his range). I view this as Angie's List's fault as I shouldn't be able to purchase a deal if the provider cannot service my area or is out of coverage range. So Joe gets a free "A" as there isn't an "NA" option for reviews. And Angie's List gets an F for #1 its incessant email spam for me to complete this review for the past nine months #2 no filters in place to help prevent users from purchasing a deal that is doomed from the start and #3 no option to decline reviewing a contractor and forcing users to write a review even when a job did not take place because it never happened.
