+ -1 moreBOB HOLBROOK IS IN HIS TWENTIES, BUT HAS MORE THAN TEN YEARS OF SOLID EXPERIENCE AS AN ELECTRICIAN. HE IS EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE, COURTEOUS, AND PROFESSIONAL. HE ANSWERS HIS OWN PHONE, OR CALLS BACK QUICKLY; HE KEEPS HIS APPOINTMENTS; AND HE DOES QUALITY WORK. HE IS ESPECIALLY INTERESTED IN THE MORE COMPLICATED PROBLEMS PRESENTED BY OLDER HOUSES (OURS WAS BUILT IN 1912) AND HE IS VERY GOOD AT LAYING OUT A LOGICAL SEQUENCE THAT PUTS REPAIRS (AND REPAIR DOLLARS) IN THE RIGHT ORDER. ALTHOUGH HE LIVES AND WORKS IN LEXINGTON (WHICH MADE ME WONDER IF HE WOULD CHARGE TOO MUCH), HIS PRICES ARE REASONABLE FOR THE GOOD QUALITY WORK THAT HE DOES. HE BRINGS IN AN ASSISTANT WHEN HE NEEDS THE EXTRA HANDS. MY ONLY RESERVATION ABOUT LISTING HIM ON ANGIES LIST IS THAT HE HAS A LOT OF WORK ALREADY, AND I DON'T WANT HIM SO BUSY HE CAN'T KEEP WORKING ON OUR HOUSE FROM TIME TO TIME!
Description of Work: OVER THE LAST YEAR, IN TWO VISITS, HE INSTALLED A NEW OUTLET IN THE PANTRY (WHICH REQUIRED SNAKING UP FROM BASEMENT); NEW MOTION DETECTOR LIGHTS, BOTH INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR; REPAIRED THREE WAY CIRCUIT; NEW LIGHT IN BACKDOOR HALLWAY; REPLACED OR RETIRED NOB AND TUBE WIRING IN SEVERAL ROOMS; PLUS SOME ADDITIONAL WORK THAT I HAVE FORGOTTEN, BUT THAT HE CHARGED CORRECTLY FOR. HE CHARGED ME FOR TIME AND STOCK, WHICH I FIND IS GENERALLY THE BEST, UNLESS IT IS A HUGE JOB.
