Sebastian was courteous and even temporarily patched up a broken bathroom drywall so the shower could be used without charging us, before I reviewed multiple contractor quotes. I offered to pay him for it- he did not want any money. In the end after reviewing multiple quotes, I went with his company. He did an excellent job in 2 days to tear down 3 walls, put up cement board, new tiles & got the bathtub glazed. I will be hiring him in the future. I recommend him to anyone needing a bathroom renovation.

It went extremely well. Sebastian and his co-worker came at the agreed time, opened up the ceiling in two areas, and did the sleuthing needed to pinpoint what was causing the leak from the upstairs unit. (Amazing how small drips cause awful damage over time!) He had a plumber come in two days with new parts and get the leak causes fixed. Ceilings and wall where repatched where necessary, and smoothed over. Of course, I need a separate paint job overall, but Sebastian and staff solved the problem efficiently and well! Would definitely hire him again...in fact, just referred his services to a friend of mine.

I originally hired Sebastian and his team for a small bathroom remodel after having to fire my original contractor. Sebastian and his team came in to salvage the mess I was left with from the original contractor and did an amazing job in a short timeframe. After seeing the results and working with him, I was very confident with their work and hired him to do a complete apartment remodel in a 2 family I own. The apartment remodel consisted of a full kitchen remodel, wall and ceiling repairs, painting throughout, bathroom updates, closet build-outs, electrical upgrades and fixture installs. Sebastian was always prompt and responsive. The project stayed within the original timeline - with the only delays being on my end with ordering the counter tops and appliances. I highly recommend Sebastian and will definitely work with him and his team again on future projects

2 upstairs and 2 downstairs bathroom renovated in 3 months time! (3 full baths, 1 half-bath) The GH crew were efficient punctual and professional. They were so fast that I had to be quick in ordering all the fixtures and tiles that I wanted. I also liked how they conscientiously cleaned up after themselves each day, since we had to live in the house while the work was being done. They also installed a kitchen hood for me, which only took 2-3 days.

Golden Hammer Remodeling has completed a total apartment renovation for us, and we are extremely happy with the finished product. This was a difficult project because we live out of state, but Sebastian went the extra mile keeping us in the loop by sending pictures and videos on a regular basis. His attention to detail was very good and he has a great eye for design. Our building is 100+ years old with many hurdles that had to be navigated to accomplish the changes we wanted to make. Each time Sebastian came up with a good, reasonable, and inexpensive solution. In addition to updating the interior, he rebuilt the porches. We highly recommend Golden Hammer Remodeling, and he is our go-to Contractor for all of our repairs. It is extremely important for us being out of state to trust a contractor to handle the repairs that we need to properly maintain our 3-unit apartment building. We knew that Sebastian was committed to the renovation project, and we trusted he would take care of business even with us not being there to supervise the progress. He did an outstanding job!

Whenever we had questions or wanted to discuss an alternative way of doing something, Sebastian (the owner) was absolutely receptive and very responsive. His subs are gracious and professional. We hired Sebastian and his crew to remodel our bathroom in our 1-bathroom apartment. The job went well, and they took on an additional project (repairing holes in the ceiling and hanging a pot rack in the kitchen) when we needed them to. Sebastian suggested skim-coating the kitchen ceiling, as well, which looks great and was well worth it. They cleaned up every day and kept our bathroom in working order (but of course, sans shower/bathtub/sink) throughout the project with the unavoidable exceptions. The job took a bit longer than we'd hoped, but that may have been partly on us, since we didn't have the sink yet when the plumber initially came...we didn't know he wouldn't do the work without the sink in there. Our only complaint with quality is also with the plumber's work...the faucet is installed sideways, which he said was a manufacturing issue with the faucet but we doubted. Sebastian suggested a change to the tile plan in the bathroom, as well, and I think the final product is improved because of his suggestion.

Sebastian was fantastic to work with on our full bathroom remodel. He was punctual, professional, and completed the job in the estimated time frame. The quality of the finished product is wonderful and everything came out much better than expected. Do yourself a favor and hire him—you won't regret it!

He asked if we wanted to skip the inspection WHAT!!!!!!............RED FLAG FOLKS .hmmmm...what kind of people he hiring. not enough education.....of course. .....GOLDEN HAMMER ...NAME USED FROM A WEEKLY SHOW.......

Sebastien was wonderful to work with from start to finish. We were doing a gut remodel of a full bathroom. He was very responsive and had great ideas on how to deal with some unexpected issues that came up (eg. during demo we discovered an "extra" wall that was covering part of a window that had been put in years before). Sebastien came up with a great plan that lead to an even better finished project than we had hoped for. We were so impressed with the quality of his work (the tile was done beautifully) and his thoughtful approach to the job. He was great about communicating and sending us photos when we were at work so we could see progress. I feel like he really went above and beyond on our project and we would gladly work with him again!

We are so happy with the work that Sebastian did at our house. Not only was the work fantastic, Sebastian was amazing to deal with. Everytime I texted him with a question, he always replied within the hour (usually much quicker than that). He also often updated me with the progress by sending photos since we were not living at the house while he was doing the work. The main work that Golden Hammer did for us was in the kitchen where they installed a vent, a new stove, tiled a new backsplash, and installed a new granite counter. They also did a lot of other things around the house, including painting each room, refinishing the wood floors, putting in concrete stair by the backdoor, some carpentry, and installed a new washer & dryer. Everything they did was fantastic. Sebastian, his crew, and the subcontractors that he works with were all highly skilled and very nice to work with. I highly recommend Sebastian and Golden Hammer. I will definitely hire them again for my next project.

Sebastian has done multiple projects for me, the latest a full basement remodel including the creation and installment of a new window, a new wall, flooring, recessed lights, painting etc. The professionalism is absolutely top notch. Not only punctual, but the cleanliness and attention to detail. Extra steps are always taken to ensure that no dust, debris or material is in the way or gets carried into other parts of the house. The tiling and painting is done with precision. Expectations have always been met and exceeded.

Sebastian and his team were great. They did really nice work, and took pride in making it look just right. Plus, they were fast, did it all in less than 2 weeks. They made it easy and their pricing was very fair. I would call Sebastian again and recommend them to you.

Top line; We could not be more pleased with the results! Our bathroom is now an opulent oasis thanks to Golden Hammer! Sebastian and his crew were highly professional, receptive to our design wishes, patient with our questions and highly specific requests, conscience with regard to limiting inconvenience and construction chaos. They stuck to their ambitious timeline and made sure that it was picture perfect before expecting final payment installment. Sebastian stands behind his work and has a very commendable work ethic. Sebastian was great! This was our second job with him 18 months later. He does good quality work and is transparent about the cost of materials he installs. He is diligent, responsive, and has integrity. I will continue to hire him for jobs I need.

Beautiful work! Completely satisfied with the process and the end result

It was a lot of work and it all went so perfectly. The results brought tears to my eyes (actual tears, I'm not kidding). Rodrigues is skillful, creative, conscientious and so wonderful to work with. He arrived promptly each day with his crew and did exactly what he said he was going to do for that day. The biggest project was our bathroom. Two walls were covered with the ugliest tiles imaginable, the remaining walls were old paneling. The ceiling was a drop ceiling with many warped tiles, and the flooring was coming apart. The shower itself was dark due to very old, ugly tiling and the fact that the shower ceiling had been substantially lowered for some reason. Rodrigues removed all tiles and installed new walls throughout. He removed the drop ceiling and replaced with plaster which gave us significantly higher ceilings. He replaced the bathroom door and the flooring (I let him choose the flooring and it's just lovely!). In the shower, he demolished the lowered ceiling, plastered a much higher ceiling, retiled the shower with white tiles and smaller accent tiles for artistic flair and added new fixtures. The shower is now bright and luxurious. He also installed a new toilet and vanity. I honestly couldn't believe my eyes when the work was done. We have a very old house and I will continue to use this company going forward. The work is very high quality and I've been so happy and impressed. I highly recommend Rodrigues and Golden Hammer.

We did not hire Golden Hammer. This review is about their professionalism and our satisfaction with how they work with potential customers. We would be happy to hire them for a project if schedules worked out. Sebastian visited our place exactly when he said and offered his assessment on how he would tackle our project. He then sent over a team member to offer expert advice to make sure they'd be able to the job. We wound up going with another contractor for a variety of factors, but wouldn't hesitate to work with Sebastian in the future. His team is worth considering if you need drywall, plastering, and painting.

Rodrigues put up the tiles in my kitchen for the backsplash. I bought my own tiles and he came in to install. He did an excellent job! I would HIGHLY recommend him for tiling jobs. Very friendly and nice too!

Amazing! Sebastian provided a fair estimate for us and was done with our entire bathroom in 2 days. He was clean and quick. We are having him back to complete our other bathroom.
