We have used Fitzgerald Construction and Painting on numerous occasions for interior and exterior work on our house in Cambridge as well as our new home in the suburbs. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jim Fitzgerald, his crew and the superb quality of the work. Jim's quotes are accurate and reasonable. The work is performed professionally and on time. If something comes up during the job, Jim raises it immediately, suggests at least one solution, and provides a fair estimate for the cost. For example, while doing the prep work for painting plaster walls in our antique house, it became clear that some of the walls were in very bad shape. We discussed alternatives and found we could patch some walls, while others needed to be completely skim coated. Jim is sensitive to cost and timing and we feel we get more than a fair deal with him. The final result is always fabulous. We will use Fitzgerald Construction and Painting again and recommend this team whole- heartedly.

Jim Fitzgerald gave us an accurate quote for all his services. The painters showed up on time and put in full days as necessary. The jobs were completed efficiently and right on schedule. The painting is flawless, both inside and out. The cabinets were especially challenging, as they had been re-finished before and required a lot of sanding to make them smooth. They are beautiful. Jim and his crew are a joy to work with - polite, considerate and professional. When asked, Jim gave us expert guidance, such as which type of paint to use on various surfaces, which was extremely helpful. Every night when the painters left, and certainly at the end of each job, the rooms were left in spotless condition. I will certainly hire Fitzgerald Construction and Painting again.
