Arbor Care Tree Service

We had a large beautiful Silver Maple tree in our back yard with a spreading canopy that shaded my home as well as three of my neighbors. The tree was the selling point when we purchased the house in 1971. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, it became unhealthy with several holes, vertical seams and high winds causing limbs to break. We called ArborCare Tree Services because of their reputation and longevity. We met with Mark, the owner for pricing. Mark was professional and explained in detail the steps regarding the removal process, stump grinding and clean up. The tree was in a very tricky spot in our back yard. Mark assured us that his company would have no problem cutting down the tree. Sean and his crew did an extraordinary job removing the tree. They were punctual, courteous and proficient. I have and will recommend ArborCare to anyone needing tree service.

I signed up for 2 spraying. Said they would come in early May. Every time I called throughout late May and June, the office said they'd be there that week. Didn't come until July. By then it was too late for a second spraying that year, but the comped me for a spraying to be used the following year. Still, I'd rather have had the work done as contracted.

They were great from start to finish

They were good. I like that they’ve been in the business for a while. They have this kind of service that we wanted. There is a specific type of fertilizing that we wanted done and they were able to do it. We did have to work just to get them out. Quality is good. They did come out.

I have used Arbor Care Tree Service in the past, to treat a red pine tree for needle fungus disease, with the understanding that this may not stop the fungus. Over the last couple of years, the needles on the lower branches or the pine were falling off more rapidly, and based on Mark's (the owner) suggestion, I decided to have the lower branches taken off, and to continue to treat it, in the hopes that it would survive. Additionally, there were vines growing in the branches of the tree from my neighbor's yard, so they also were removed. The worker climbed up the pine tree, to the near top, to remove all of them. All of the overhanging branches from my neighbor's yard were also trimmed. They (two people) were meticulous about removing everything in the pine tree, as well as along the property line. They worked for 5 hours to clear it all, and also cleaned up well. Since I have used Arbor Care Tree Service in the past, I did not get prices from others. I did check Arbor Care Tree Service reviews on Angie's List and most seemed satisfied with the price, so I decided to stick with someone I had worked with in the past. I have rated Price and quot;NAand quot; since I did not compare prices with other landscapers. This is first experience I have had with Arbor Care Tree Service for a larger job, and I was pleased with the service. I will continue to use them.

They are more pricey and that is also the feedback that I saw about them on Angie's List. But I still used them because they were good at what they are doing. I will recommend them even though they are a bit pricey. They are not too responsive, I think that is their downfall. I had issues with them not responding at all and I had to call them back.

At the first meeting we have openly discussed possible options and I got an estimate for all options. The we decided on one option balancing the pros and cons. I could get a winter discount although the period expired, given the weather situation in New England. The crew arrived on time and well equipped. Climbing high on the trees has been done with all safety precautions. The tree experts were not rushing at all with chainsaw in one hand. They were very professional with security and the neighbors etc.. When the neighbors saw the crew and the job performed, they contract them for another job on the spot.

Mark Bezreh and Arbor Care have taken care of my trees for several years, pruning, spraying, removing stumps, etc. He takes a look each Spring, advises me what needs to be done, and does it with professionalism and care. I've never been disappointed and will continue to use Arbor Care in the future.

They did a great job. The tree still looks great. The lawn is getting some son, and no worries about the wires.

The crew arrived a few minutes early and prepared the area. Due to the size of the tree and the proximity of the tree to the house and power lines, they brought a large crew and huge flatbed truck, so it was quite a major production. They cut the tree down in sections and carefully craned the sections over to the truck. Once the tree was completely removed, I also had them grind the stump down to below ground level. They completely cleaned the area before they left and hauled the logs away on the truck.

Really great company. Very informed and responsive. Prices were incredibly reasonable.

They were punctual, professional, and worked hard. They did everything I asked including the clean-up and chipping of branches that had been in the yard a long time. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

I called Frost, they called me back, came out to my house, gave me an estimate, answered my questions, sprayed the trees and billed me for it. Simple, fast, efficient and (I think) reasonable. Couldn't ask for much more. I did not call another company so I have no idea if I could have gotten a better price. I also put an "n/a" for quality because the cottony evidence of the adelgid takes a while to disappear from the trees so....only time will tell if this works. I will have them return in the fall to spray and fertilize.

Took longer than expected for them to come to provide the service after the estimate and I asked for work to be scheduled - a few weeks longer than they had said it would be. Great company if you don't need the work quickly.

Everything was perfect. I would say it was excellent! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I really like them. I have a regular service with them and they come 4 or 5 times a year. They spray for winter moss and do spring pruning and fertilizing. They always seem to do a good job and the staff is really friendly. They just seem very knowledgeable. There is nothing more that I can ask out of them. I've used them for so long that I haven't compared them to other people, but it seems like a fair price to me.

We have used them for years. Mark is patient and does good work. We have a lot of trees for a small yard, and Arborcare keeps them from encroaching where they are not wanted yet providing much shade and leafy cover. We took advantage of a winter discount to have a large nearly dead tree removed. There was a communication problem regarding when they would come and how much work could be done in snowy conditions, but I felt that Mark and his receptionist (Maureen?) resolved it all in a very responsive and professional manner. We also use them for spraying our hemlocks, and they are very good.

I had used them before many years ago. I looked them up online and I found that they were still rated. So, I called them again to come back out. I called them in the beginning of November to have it done. I wasn’t in any rush and the tree service guy said that he would take $300 off the price if he did the work in the first week of December if I wasn’t in any rush. There were a lot of older trees in my yard that were high up. I then put in all the smaller trees about a couple of years ago to grow in my yard. The problem was that the trees that I had there were overhanging. So, I wanted them to come out and see if I had to prune the trees or take them down. I wanted to know the best thing to do. So, the guy who came out said that I had to take down some of the trees and it had to be cleaned out so that it would provide room to grow in order to see the forest that I was looking for. They tagged some of the trees. They trimmed some trees so that they wouldn’t grow fully for me. They had some recommendations which I went with. What stood out to me about them was the way they did it. They ended up using rigging and they climbed up the tree like they were climbing a mountain. They jumped down the trees like they were monkeys from one to the other. So, they didn’t have to use ladders. It was the first time I saw tree people rigging up on the trees. The way they did it was very efficient. They didn’t have to drag the ladders back. They did a really great job in cutting the branches. It didn’t damage anything. They had a rope tied around when they cut the bigger pieces in segments. When the piece came off, it was hanging in the air and was rolled to the ground. They really protected the property, the fence and the yard by doing that. They were here like all day for like 9 hours. They also cleaned up after they were done and they also brought a shredder in. They did a fantastic job of cleaning up. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

I've been using them for more than 10 years. They've done lots of work for me. They are expensive, but they do exactly what they're supposed to. It's been a while since they have done any massive pruning.

They sprayed pretty much one tree since it’s a small yard. We like that they are eco and they did what they said they were going to do. They spray to kill the winter moth which prevents the tree from bearing fruits.

Straightforward, on-time, good cleanup -- same as earlier in the summer when Arborcare did $3000 worth of removals and trimming at my house.

Very good and on-time communications, skilled crew, and in my opinion, reasonable price for the work they did -- also good cleanup and no secondary damage to the property. I primarily needed two large trees removed from a back yard that has no access to large motorized equipment. Arborcare used a large crane to reach over my garage and remove the trees. Grinding the stumps was not easy due to hidden buried cobblestones and poor access, but they completed the job anyway. They completed extensive pruning of trees close to my house and my neighbor's house without damaging them. The crew of four worked expeditiously but not in any way too fast for safety (to my eye).
