Description of Work: The installed a new on demand heat and hot water system. The system is working fine as are small additional jobs that popped up, but he was very hard to work with. We're renovating our basement and although I gave very straight forward directions (location of pipes, space constraints, etc.) he did as he pleased - later saying that he was unaware of my renovation intentions. Also he misrepresented the purpose of the exterior vent. I was told it was for air intake - it actually emits steam, lots of it - the heat from the steam is killing a very large pine tree that borders my neighbors property and serves as a privacy screen for both of us. I'm not sure what the cost will be to replace that tree, or how much it will be to get another plumber in here to put my copper pipes back in (he replaced ALL of them with PEX). Oh I almost forgot-somehow he removed our washing machine hook-up (something I can only assume a mistake) and then tried to charge us $425 to replace it. | |So overall, we're very happy with our new heat/hot water system. If I had to do it again, I'd hire someone else.

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job. The communication was good, from making the estimate to helping us with the paperwork to get the rebate. Allen Swope, the owner, oversaw the project from start to finish. His crew were very polite. The job was done on time. The price was excellent.
Description of Work: Replaced boiler in forced hot water heating system. Also replaced hot water tank.
