When we decided to put our house on the market, my wife found Sven and the Andersen Team at Leading Edge in Winchester. I was dubious because I saw no reason to involve a Winchester agent who deals in multimillion-dollar homes in a Medford sale.... (I wondered if we were a charity case.) Boy was I wrong! Sven Andersen did a walkthrough of our house.... told us exactly what to do (and most importantly what could be ignored) and informed us he was going to generate a bidding war. The upshot was more than 100 visitors at our open house resulting in 19 offers and a sale substantially above our ask within five days . Every woman and man on his staff was absolutely responsive, understanding, and professional. They have my unequivocal gratitude and support.

From pricing the house properly, to managing all the showings (and introducing us to anyone who could help get the house ready), Sven and his team went above and beyond to make sure every transaction was as easy as possible. He made sure we understood what was happening each step of the way and always had time for our questions--and we had a lot of questions! Sven was our broker when we purchased our house in 2003. There was never a question about who we would use when it came time to sell our house nine years later. Sven and his team were on top of the market every step of the way. He was spot on with the list price. Our house was listed on a Monday, had multiple showings during the week, open house on Sunday, and sold on Monday (with multiple offers). Sven handled every transaction with unparalleled professionalism, getting the best possible price for our house with the least amount of angst. He is a master of negotiations. We cannot say enough about how wonderfully he handled every offer, being respectful of each broker, and knowing just what to say. It was truly a learning experience. Sven knows just about everybody in the realty business in the Winchester/Arlington/Lexington area (and beyond) and it cannot be stressed enough that this is a huge asset when buying or selling a home. He even introduced us to our realtor in another state when we were ready to buy again! I'm sure that is not typical, however it does illustrate how willing he is to help out even after the ink has dried. We highly recommend Sven Andersen and his team for buying/selling your home.
