This is a long overdue review, but reading these reviews were incredibly helpful for me when I chose to use Stella Construction. Erik and his team had to remove all the stucco from my house, and then replaced it with vinyl siding. He also created three decks around the house. He even helped with minor projects for my parents who live on the second floor. It is important for me to note that I should have always went with my gut and chose Stella from the very beginning. When I first reached out to Erik, he responded quickly. I ended up going with a person I knew from a friend. It was such a bad experience, and I reached out to Erik for advice on what to do in dealing with that. In the end, I chose Stella for all the needed work. It was an easy experience for me trusting in the good work he provided. If you are looking for a home contractor, stop looking and choose Erik and Stella Construction!

I had a leaking flat roof. Stella company did a good job replacing the roof. Steve and his crews were very professional and trustworthy. They did exactly what they promised to do and finished the job on time and professionally. From start to finish, Steve was very responsive to my requests and questions. Their price is already very reasonable. I would certainly hire them again for my future projects and highly recommend them to you as well.

Stella installed a new roof and skylights for us in November 2018. I had shopped around with various providers and I really appreciated the way Steve walked me through the process. They completed the whole job on a Saturday and even were able to work around receiving a skylight that was incorrectly sized by the manufacturer. Since then, I also hired Stella to replace the decking on my balcony (which took about a week), and also a couple small jobs like painting the outside of our three-story home, replacing some rotting baseboard, and installing new gutters. The baseboard job came up while we were doing a landscaping project, Milton from Stella came quickly on short notice to keep that project on schedule. Milton goes above and beyond -- I saw him stay late to fix something that I think the landscapers were supposed to do. The Stella team is friendly and always does a great job of cleaning up the job site. Steve has also been very clear on pricing and was also helpful in getting me the right receipts when our solar-powered skylight installation retroactively qualified for a tax credit after the laws were updated in 2020. We have recommended Stella to our neighbors who have also been happy with their work!

Erik and the team at Stella did a really high quality job in doing a remodel on 2 bathrooms, fixing a lot of drywall and plaster, fixing some framing issues, painting and trim work, and interior painting. They also fixed a couple issues with our roofing. They can handle pretty much anything and did high quality work with carpentry, tile, and painting. We recommend them!

I've had a very good experience using Stella for two remodel projects at my home in Medford. The first was a first floor update including the addition of a new bathroom and converting to an open floor plan and the second was for a ~500 sqft first floor addition including a remodel to an old outdated kitchen. I had a very positive experience with Erik and the rest of the team at Stella across both projects, to the point that I only bid the second project out to Stella. Erik and his team are very professional, responsive and clearly communicate when there are unanticipated hiccups/problems/overruns. Most importantly Erik has very high integrity - whenever there were issues (which is inevitable in projects like this) he and his team worked hard to resolve the issues with customer happiness top of mind.

Stella built a new dormer on our house, installed 7 new windows, and installed new siding. They replaced the existing asphalt shingle roof and installed a Sika Sarnafil roof on the new dormer they built. They were punctual, extremely hard working, paid great attention to detail and kept the site clean. Working with a company with such extensive resources showed itself in the seamless communication and timing. Even the building inspector was impressed with the quality of their work. They are true professionals in every sense.

The roofer begins in July 2021, but so far we have been very pleased with Stella's professionalism and responsiveness.

Erik and his team are amazing. They did our addition and kitchen renovation in May-Oct 2020. They are super responsive and always happy to talk through any idea or concern. They used the BuilderTrend software and took pictures most days of any progress, which really helped put my mind at ease since we weren't living in the home at the time. Erik was really great about trying to move everything forward and scheduling the subs to keep everything on time and get us in on our move date. I appreciate all of the time and thought he and the team put into the project and into their communication with me. For instance, we had an issue with the size and placement of structural beams that were needed in the beginning of our project, and Erik got several carpenters out to the house with him to problem solve, and then looped us in and we all figured out the best solution. The final product was incredible and we couldn't be happier with all of the updates. I trust him and will definitely go to him for future projects.

Real good experience came when he said he would thats real important to me

Upfront, honest, professional and responsive. Communicated well when the crew would be arriving to fix roof, cleaned up site well. From evaluation through execution Steve from Stella was great to work with. Document with images so you could see problem areas he was referring too. I would recommend Stella to friends and family.

Steve was responsive, professional and very helpful. He even scheduled to work in weekend because of my short stay in my rental house. He carefully checked the roof and skylight and suggested a reasonable work plan. He delivered materials and tools before the work day. His worker came in site on time. During their repairing they found some defects done by previous roofers, they fixed it without extra charge. I recommend Steve and his team to people who need a skillful and honest roofer for help.

I was an absolute pleasure working with Stella Construction and my roofing project was a great experience from day 1. Steve was very thorough with his project evaluation, reviewing all the details (such as materials, timing, what to expect, etc.) and answering all my questions. A great thing about working with Steve is he does what he says he will do. He showed up on time for the initial appointment, the estimate came when he said it would, the permit was obtained quickly, and the materials were delivered ahead of the scheduled start of the job. Steve is also great with communications. He responds quickly via email or text and all the contracting and invoicing was done electronically making it extremely easy to do business with Stella Construction. On the day of the job I was sent pictures of what was found after taking off the shingles so I was aware of the roof repairs that would be needed prior to laying the new shingles and those repairs were in line with my expectations based on Steve s assessment when he submitted his estimate. The job started and ended on time and was completed on budget. Based on this experience I will use Stella Construction for future home projects!!

Steve was fair and honest. He helped me find a quality product within my budget. Some of the biggest selling points for me were he came out face to face to see the project, gave me a fair price, and did not offer a if you act within the next 5 days you get a discount deal. No upselling products or services. The project was started and finished within a day and looks great. I would hire Stella Construction again for future projects.

Steve was very prompt and professional. He did everything in one day and clearly stated why the previous repair (by a different roofer) hadn't worked. He also caught an issue that was going to get bigger if it wasn't addressed. I will definitely be returning to Stella for future roofing needs.
