This was a very small roof repair. Stella Construction responded quickly were thorough in their explanation and followed-up after installation to make sure we were satisfied with our product.

Came out and was able to repair the roof on the same day. Seemed knowledgeable and explained the job before beginning. it cost a little more to have the job completed today but otherwise would have had to wait 3 weeks to get on the schedule and with this weather, \i opted to have him go ahead:

He came and looked at the roof and did the worth same day at a excellent price. The team was professional and cleaned up after the job. He even informed me of issues with the roof that would need attention in the future.

My first home advisor experience. I found Steve very easy to talk to and he was patient in explaining the problem. He also gave me advice on another issue. Because of the type of repair I can’t speak to quality yet but I have to say that they finished the work quickly and I found them to be easy to work with.

Steve did a great job in addressing the kind of task that many roofers avoid or dread: repairs to a leaky roof. Apologies for the long account. Over 5+ years, unsealed openings around plumbing and appliance vents had caused cumulative water damage in two places of our kitchen ceiling, including dry but swollen sheet rock. A number of tradepeople had pointed out the sunlight around the vents, so the root cause was clear. For this reason as well as the small affected area (~3x6 feet) and plans for a footprint-changing renovation in two to three years, we elected to repair rather than replace our old but still healthy roof. Although he said the best way to be sure was to replace the [half] roof, Steve understood our reasoning and replaced all three vents in the problem area, with ice-and-water shield and a number of new shingles. He wouldn't guarantee such a limited fix (few if any roofers will), but offered to return if anything untoward happened in the next bit of time. It did - less than a week later, during a nor'easter. In the attic, all of Steve's vent repairs were tight, but I found regular dripping in the bay adjacent to the repairs. After the horizontal, wind-driven rain stopped, the dripping did as well, suggesting the water was getting in through a lifted shingle. Soon after, I went onto the roof and found several loose (well nailed, but unglued) shingles in the repaired area - both new and pre-existing ones. Further to either side of the repair, the shingles all adhered. Steve's very reasonable point was that I should wait for warm weather to adhere the new shingles (which come with a strip of asphalt). I agreed but chafed a bit at waiting, as we were overdue to finish the renovation. Come July, a tradesman estimating the kitchen ceiling repair took a look on the roof and showed me several still-loose shingles, including some new to the repair. Given this new information, Steve stopped by promptly and applied roofing glue under the loose shingles. I'm now satisfied he's done everything we could have expected to address our problem.

A small patch on my roof was damaged during a very windy winter storm. Even though they were really busy dealing with all the damage from the storm they came out and gave me a quote. Two other contractors didn't show. They came out and repaired the roof. You can't even tell that if has been repaired. Thanks!!

The work was done quickly and efficiently

Steve was gave fair price. He started and finished the work on time. My neighbors comment how clean up on site was complete. I would have him again.

I had a link in my roof. Steve can out the next day to evaluate the work. Very friendly and curious quick turn around time to complete the project. His crew was professional and got right to work and cleaned up the site up the site when completed. Great services.

Steve and everyone working for Stella were great. They were all professional and courteous. We needed emergency roof repair on a very steep roof. They sent out three people that day to get the job done. Will definitely hire again.

Steve and his team at Stella Construction were amazing. Great communication (photos were even provided as they did my roof) . There was a bit of a wait to get the job done thanks to the horribly rainy spring we had but Steve emailed me weekly just to keep touching base and that definitely helped me know that he is on top of his work. We worked with Steve and Joe for an asphalt roof, soffit ventilation, and a roof repair on a sun room from a fallen tree. Steve was great to work with and he was the most communicative of the 10 or so roofing estimates we inquired about. I asked many technical questions as I am an engineer and very detail oriented by nature. They did everything they said they would do and did a quality job. Steve stuck out from the beginning as he called our town building department to find our local codes to find out what was legal as other conractrors were saying that you could put a metal roof over 2 layers of asphalt roof. The roof and sunroom repair was done over 2 days and they cleaned up the yard pretty well. Steve was always easy to get a hold of and really had awesome customer service. Steve came out and did an estimate on my property very quickly. After we signed a contract, we had quirks leading up to the job, and Steve handled them like a pro. Great customer service and excellent communication. Steve's team showed up on time and did the work they agreed to do. They cleaned up and left with no trace, but the great work they did on the roof. (and pictures too!) I intend to hire them again.

I dealt with Steve B. of Stella. I had a rubber roof repaired and heating coils installed on asphalt roof and in downspouts. Steve is very knowledgeable, takes pictures before and after, communicates very well - responds to emails and answers questions readily - is on time, if not calls to let you know . He is personable and easy going. Bryan did the work and did a nice job. He is also personable. I would hire them again.

Steve Balsavich of Stella Construction described and provided a complete new roof in one day with a crew of 5 men who worked very hard, cleaned up the site and Steve provided supervision and detailed feed back and follow through. I highly recommend them.
