+ 0 moreEnded up not using Dave for the work due to miscommunication and not reviewing the quote until after I awarded the job to a contractor I have done work with in the past. However, I wanted to write a review as he was was very professional and his quote for the work was extremely competitive. Had I not went with the other contractor, he would have gotten the job.

Description of Work: In the winter of 2015, heavy snowfall caused ice dams to form on the roof, which resulted in some damage in the interior of the house. After doing some internet research, I came across a sophisticated roof ice melt system, and learned that Newhouse and Sun Company installs it. Dave, the owner, provided a fair estimate for the job, and made appropriate recommendations. The installers did an excellent job. As well, the electrician, referred by the company and hired separately, was familiar with the system also did an excellent job.

Description of Work: I needed a very efficient heating system installed on my roof to prevent ice dams. Its much more than the standard wires. They did a fantastic job.

Description of Work: Dave's crew came out and did repairs to several areas of our roof ahead of the nightmare winter. We had been dealing with some leaks around vents etc. No problems during the winter. They even fixed some things I hadn't been aware of on the roof. Great guys, great service. When my roof ultimately needs replacing in next couple years, I won't call anybody but Newhouse. Steve - Wilmington

I am truly pleased with his work. Description of Work: Converted a shed I had in the backyard into an art studio. He extended the original size of the shed and made it 5 feet higher. Bedside shelves, installed a light bubble to suck the light in. He also installed a heater, a fan and several electrical plugs around the studio. Finally, he made a terrific bunk bed with lights to read and windows. The studio has also a deck a the front. I

His teams of installers and service providers were professional and very respectful of our space while the kitchen was unusable. Dave partnered with Edesia Kitchen & Bath Studio on this project and really made the designer's vision come true. We highly recommend Dave Newhouse from Newhouse & Sun Construction.
Description of Work: Newhouse & Sun Construction served as general manager on a complete kitchen remodel. From lining up inspections and permitting to contracting all services including electrical, plumbing, painting, window installation and cabinet installation, Dave and his team were wonderful to work with. We removed a load bearing wall and installed a supporting beam. All construction was excellently performed. The cabinet installation was excellent quality - cuts were perfect. The plumbing & electrical teams were very professional. The floors were resanded and polished, and in some places boards were re-installed. The floors are beautiful. Our project was completed in 6 weeks, and it was a complete remodel. Most other companies estimated 8-10 weeks.
