Joe O'Connell provided high quality service just days before Hurricane Sandy when I purchased a generator and transfer kit from big box home improvement store. Woefully inadequate transfer kit so Joe got the higher quality parts needed and made a longer and safer power cord from the generator to the outlet box. Spent a good amount of time teaching me how to safely operate generator and transfer switches. I quickly felt very confident with him when we spoke on the phone. High quality work - he expects the best from himself - that was clear. Very happy I chose him and recommend him to others. Excellent work ethic.

Joe is very friendly and easy to talk with. He explains everything in detail and will gladly answer any questions. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his work. He likes to do the job right the first time.He leaves things as neat as when he arrives. My project ended up expanding as it went along because of what the inspector wanted and Joe tried helping us out as best he could keeping the cost down as much as possible. We really enjoyed having him work on our home.

My job consisted of taking down a light fixture and installing a new, and installing a dimmer switch on another unit,the job was performed perfectly,he works very clean and safe,as well his assitant was very nice and consciencious! Disappointed. He failed to explain he wanted to be paid immediately and got huffy. Finally decided to come back to finish and get paid. He called 5 minutes before he was due-he was going to be late. Called AGAIN at the next due moment, later still. Show some respect please. Did a decent job but left me a hole in the wall to patch, didn't really clean up at all with plaster and saw dust on the carpet and punch-outs on the floor.

Joe arrived on time and took time to explain the intracicies of the electrical upgrade work he performed at an older house, dealt flawlessly with issues as they came along and left the area clean. �He and his team did an outstanding job sealing off exterior items to prevent water infiltration which was a big concern. �Joe was also great with communication whether it be by phone or email, always following up, which was most appreciated. I feel fortunate that I chose Joe because I now have quality workmanship.

Although I did not end up utilizing Joe for this job due to time constraints and the ability of a friend who is a Master Electrician to complete it for free I thought I should submit a review because of my positive experience with him.
