A winter storm had ripped our electrical service from our house and we decided it was time to just get our old decrepit service replaced given insurance would pick up some of the tab. We discovered Joe through Home Advisor as he gets great reviews. Joe is as professional as they come. His estimate was very reasonable, to the point where our insurance adjuster commented that it was an excellent value. Unfortunately the hack who flipped our house had Mickey Mouse working on our electrical and there were some underlying problems once we got into the job. Joe's communication was pretty good throughout and he worked with us to get everything fixed and in proper order. After the project was finished I had an issue with our siding contractor dealing with the attachment point of the service line. I called Joe and he was at my house in 5 minutes helping us get through the problem. We even tried to give him some money as we were grateful for his time and effort but he did not take it. All he asked is we give him the nod to any future prospective clients... so here I am writing this review. It is a dog eat dog world out there and it can be frustrating to say the least dealing with contractors always looking to make an extra buck. It can be hard to find honest guys that will do the job to their word. Joe is one of those guys, I highly recommend him.

Joe was very versatile in coping with some unusual conditions on our job, which involved replacing an electrical panel and installing a backup generator. I would recommend him highly.

I called Joe when I had an electrical short that blew out power to my main bathroom. Joe came that same day and diagnosed the issue. He then changed his scheduled to come back at the beginning of the next week since we had no power or venting in our main bathroom. Throughout Joe was courteous and polite and explained what the issue was and what he would recommend to have done. He kept me apprised of his work and any issues/workarounds/cost saving options as they came up. I was very satisfied with his work and would highly recommend him.

Joe was excellent. I had called about 3-4 other electricians and left messages and nobody returned my call. He actually answered his phone and set up a time to come speak with me that day which I didn't expect at all. He was on time, friendly, informative and extremely professional. Not only did he fix our problem right then, he is going to give us an estimate on other work we need in the future. My husband is a tough consumer at times because he has had multiple experiences with professionals that were not pleasant. We will hire Joe to do all our electrical work from now on without a doubt.

I hired Joe back in 2012, and again in 2013 for two major jobs (full Knob and Tube removal and rewire of a 1920 home). I've dealt with many contractors, over the years and have struggled to find the right mix of quality work, professionalism, and value. Joe takes a no nonsense approach to his business. He will do exactly what you ask of him but will offer his advice that is backed with knowledge and experience. Joe keeps you "up to date" during the job and is willing to explain any parts of the job no matter how many questions you(or your wife) have. If you need time to contemplate his suggestion(s), he will continue with another part of job until you decide what to do. His estimates and final bill are explained line by line, no surprises at the end. We appreciated his level of professionalism and will not hesitate to use him again.
