Erivan Da Silva Painting

I cannot recommend Erivan DaSilva any more highly! He is the BEST contractor we have ever hired to work on our house! He is responsive. He returns and shows up when he says that he will. His workers are are extremely friendly and careful, diligent workers. I trusted them completely. Every day they cleaned up the entire site. The re-shingling, paint prep, and exterior painting work were meticulous. Erivan does not cut corners. He believes his work is his business card - he does excellent work because that is what creates additional jobs for him. The final thing that I would say is that Erivan's prices are phenomenal and his advice about scope of work is honest. I cannot recommend him more highly! Erivan did an excellent job once again! Our bathrooms look so beautiful, and this is because the prep work was so meticulous. And in addition to painting the walls, trim, and ceilings, we had an old leak in the ceiling of one of the bathroom and Erivan patched it so that you would never know it had been damaged. And as always he cleaned up at the end of every day.

Erivan did a wonderful job, as always. He’s done a lot of work for us over the years, both exterior and interior. We feel really fortunate to have found such a conscientious, skilled painter. And he really is a wonderful person too!

We hired Erivan to paint the interior of our house. He offered several good suggestions. Our job required wallpaper removal and subsequent prep work. Within two weeks, the rooms were fully painted and look great. He kept the work area clean. Erivan and his team were a pleasure to work with

Erivan and his crew are the real deal. Delivered everything they promised. Our house looks like a whole new place and we are very happy with all the work. Everything looks polished and fresh and they worked really hard to clean as they work as well as to protect furniture, etc.

Working with just one other person, Erivan always arrives on time, cleans up the space at the end of the day, and does outstanding work. Erivan and his team were super responsive and responsible and great to work with. They did really high quality work for us, and I loved the result. They have been painting for years, and were referred to me from a friend who had them paint his historic Somerville home with many details. The team was always on time, and they were great problem solvers when things inevitably came up (we ran out of paint, for example). I was also impressed that they painted all the trim perfectly without painters tape :) Their work included doing some light spackling of wall cracks, and removal of shades before they started. Finally, they were super fast!

It went excellent. Showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. They were a pleasure to work with and I will be hiring them again the next time I need a paint job completed.

Erivan is truly memorable as second to none in customer service. From day 1 when we met him, he surprised us with exceptional generosity and most of all, a willingness to contend for us in ways we as first-time home buyers who knew very little about the housework/contract industry, would never have thought of. He is truly an angel personified. The results of his dedicated, deep from the heart work, was above and beyond and blew us away how much better the painting turned out than we had expected. Very well. Erivan started the project on time and he was onsite throughout. He and his crew of two are skilled careful painters. Each day they arrived at 8 am and never left before 5 pm. They were respectful of my home and gardens. Cheerful and polite. Erivan helped me make some good decisions during the project. Best of all I’m very happy with the finished job.

Amazing! There were multiple spots in my home that needed paint touch up and caulking, including my showers that needed grout touch ups. Erivan and I spoke and within 5 days he was here and completed the job! He also touched up some areas on the spot as I pointed them out with no hesitation and explained what he was doing and why the entire time. Everything looks great and I highly recommend him!

Erivan and his team was amazing. Excellent communication. Clearly advised if any clarifications are needed or suggestions. Price was very good and comparable to others. The crew was on time, worked hard, and best of all cleaned up thoroughly each day. Great also with our young pup, which we did our best to keep out of their way, but they handled it brilliantly when things collided. We could not be happier with them. Erivan painted our entire house during our renovation and as part of this renovation, the flooring and stairs had to be redone after the fact. Erivan came back and spent a day touching up all the baseboards and risers on the stairs (which weren't even in scope during his first visit) at no cost. Erivan is a truly dependable painter and I highly recommend him.
