Very pleased with the results; they have some touch up work to do but only rain has prevented completion. Great deal of attention to prep and to detail at every stage of the project. Owner is hands -on and checks work daily. (That does not always happen with other firms.) Small crew is obviously experienced; no "summer replacements" who have never done house painting before. Foreman Jose is excellent: very proactive and attentive to any request from the owner. Again, not always the case with some exterior painted I have used. One of the cleanest painting crews I have ever used. (Orcutt Painting in Wakefield., MA being the other.)They treat your home and yard as though it was their own- no coffee cups in the flower beds or other trash lying around; all tools stashed at the end of day and nothing lying around in the driveway. I would use them again and would recommend them.

Rodolfo of Daddy & Junior is THE BEST. Before his current business he painted a room for us as a solo contractor and it's the best-looking room in the house. We plan on having him paint the rest of our interiors and exteriors.

Rodolfo was punctual and professional when he came to assess the job and provide me with a cost estimate (the other painter I arranged to meet for an estimate simply forgot to come). He provided some good advice on colors to use and paint types best suited for different walls and trim. He gave me a paint color palette from which to choose the colors for each room and quickly sent a reasonable estimate for the entire cost of the extensive job. He also arranged to have the entire job done within a little over a week from the time of his first visit. Rodolfo and his team of painters did a spectacular job. They texted photos of the finished rooms and made certain that lighting in the photos was optimum so I could judge how well the various paint colors were working with the interior architecture of the unit, which includes a stained glass staircase. Rodolfo is also a very kind, friendly and professional man and was a joy to work with. I will look him up again the next time I have a painting job.

Did what he said he would do and more. Was in and out in 2 days just as he said he would be. We live in a an old house with lots of wood flooring, framing, etc... .My husband and I hauled out some original hardwood under our porch and Rodolfo put it to use beautifully. I've already asked him to quote a couple of painting jobs and look forward to having him work here again. A good, handyman who prices fair .

Rodolfo and his crew did an excellent ? even superior job painting our house. They power washed the house, scrapped the loose paint, primed the entire house, garage and breezeway and put on two coats of paint. They didn't just prime the bare spots. Rodolfo and his crew were very professional, polite, and extremely hard working. Rodolfo even made some suggestions about highlighting the window trim that made the final product look even better. I believe that we got more than our money's worth in hiring Daddy and Junior Paint, Inc. Update 10/6/14: My only recommendation for doing an even better job is for them to take greater precautions to prevent loose paint chips, some containing lead paint, from falling into the soil. More care should have been taken to prevent the paint chips from falling around the property. Those with houses built before 1978 (containing lead) should make certain that contractors follow EPA guidelines in removing peeling paint.

Rodolfo and his assistant did a great job. They were right on time and were pleasant and professional. I hired Rodolfo to paint my living room, dining room and upstairs landing. After he arrived, I showed him a section of the ceiling in my entryway that had some moisture stains. He took the time to treat the surface and paint it for me at no extra charge. After they finished the job, Rodolfo went around the house to inspect their work. He and I both found some spots that needed attention--small smudges, drips, etc. Everything was done to my satisfaction, and I was told to call Rodolfo right away if anything wasn't right. He would come back to fix any problems. I'm very happy with the paint job and would hire Rodolfo again in the future.

Very hard working crew. Rodolfo actually picked out the paint color for the kitchen for me since I couldn't decide. Everything came out beautifully.

Rodolfo is a true professional and a gentelmen. He arrived promptly at 6 PM on a weeknight to perform a walkthru for a painting quote. He took his time and provided valuable feedback. The job entailed trim, walls and ceilings for 3 bdrms, dining, family and living room, 1 full bath, hallways and stairway plus 3 closets. Out of 5 bidders, Rodolfo was my second choice. Not just because his quote was one of the best but I would of liked to have worked with him. Even though I did not choose Daddy and Jr Painting this time, I would not hesitate at all to call them next time.

Rudolpho came to the rescue. I originally wanted to try a metallic paint and even ordered the paint. I changed my mind after looking at on the internet at other people's very negative experiences with the application. He was able to cancel the expensive paint order and finish the job with regular high quality paint in a day. He did a PERFECT job and he's a simply lovely, sweet guy to do business with. He may do some work on my floorboards, also. He's your "go to" guy for high quality workmanship and a great attitude.

Two thumbs for Daddy & Junior Paint! Rodolpho and his team were not only friendly but extremely professional. They showed up on time each day and worked long, full days with very few breaks. Rodolpho and his crew were also very careful with covering my furniture and floors. Each day they cleaned up and left the house presentable and clean. I received an upfront, honest quote both for the price and amount of hours the job would take. Both stayed within the estimate I was given. The team did an excellent job painting our interior walls, trim and ceilings for our living room and bathroom. All holes and any other wall that was damaged was fixed and painted flawlessly. I am going to have Daddy & Junior come back this winter to paint our nursery. In fact I contacted Rodolpho already and he was very responsive to the point where I have a date scheduled for him to come back! I am so pleased with his work that I have and will be recommending Daddy & Junior to friends and family! Many thanks Daddy & Junior!!!

Everything went well and it took only two hours from start to finish. Rodolfo cleaned up thoroughly after his work. Since he does so many other repair and construction services, I'm going to hire him again when I have a project. I'll make sure my friends have his business card too.

In 2010 I moved to Washington DC for work, and I rented out my townhouse in Malden, while I was working out there. In June of 2012 I got a new job in Boston, and I was moving back to my townhouse in Malden in July. One week before I was scheduled to move back, my tenants who were moving out the last week of June, called me and said that water had leaked from the second floor bathroom, water had gone through the floor and damaged the dining room ceiling on the first floor and also on the ceiling of the finished basement, which was below the dinning room. My tenants had flushed something that blocked the toilet that caused the flood. I had used Rodolpho to install hardwood flooring in my place a few years back and also to install a sliding door, and I knew he also did plastering and painting. So I called immediately because I was going to move back to my townhouse within a week, and needed it to be fixed ASAP. Rodolpho worked with the Real estate company who was managing the rental of my townhouse, to get the key so that he could access my townhouse. When Rodolpho got into my house he found that the ceiling of the dining room and the basement was very badly damaged. He spent 3 days working non stop to repair the damage and also cleanup the mess. When I moved back on July 1 st, I could hardly tell that there had been any damage to the dining room and basement ceilings. If Rodolpho had not been able to work as quickly as he did, I would not of been able to move back in so quickly. I totally recommend Daddy and Junior, to do professional job, on budget and on time every time. Infact I recommended Daddy and Junior to two of my neighbors, and they all have been very pleased with the quality of the work he has done.

This is the second time that my wife and I have used Rodolfo. He is terrific! The project went very well - I am extremely satisfied with the work once again. He completed the work on schedule in just 5 days. He and his crew painted: 3BR, kitchen, dining room, living room, hallways and large finished basement. He had the difficult challenge of painting over some very dark and very bright colors. He properly prepped and primed the walls and was able to get a consistent color all through the unit. He did a great job preparing the kitchen and caulking up around the back splash. He cares a lot about the details and the final finish. What I like about Rodolfo is that he thinks about the end product and makes suggestions about small extra things to do that will make the finished product look better. For example, he took out an in wall air conditioner that was broken, put in new dry wall and insulation and put new siding on the outside. He paid close attention to the details and was able to match the paint color exactly. This was a huge time saver as we didn't need to find a carpenter and his price was very, very fair to do this extra work. In addition, I had the hardwood floors refinished, and he came back after they were finished and touched up all of the baseboards for no additional cost. He's also made a number of excellent referrals for cleaning and for wood floor refinishing. He was fair, honest and straightforward. I would definitely recommend him. His prices were fair and in line with the other estimates that we received.

I was happy with the service provided. The price was competitive. The work was finished on time and looked great. The painters were professional, punctual and efficient. I would definitely go back to these painters for future jobs.

We researched painting companies on Angie's list and contacted four companies for proposals. Rodolfo (The Junior or Daddy and Junior) responded and came to our home to give us a proposal for painting the interior and exterior of a large two family home and garage. Rodolfo was very professional and courteous when he arrived. He walked through the home, took detailed notes, asked a lot of questions and gave advice on ways to complete the project and materials to use. Rodolfo told me he would have his proposal to me by Noon the following day and at 11:00AM the following morning I had his very detailed and specific proposal. Of the four companies we looked at Daddy and Junior had the most detailed proposal and was the only one to have it in on time. In fact we never received a proposal from one company. Once the work started Rodolfo's professionalism escalated. He arrived every morning with his crew and walked them through every step of what he wanted done. He would walk through with us what we could expect for the day. He would tell us how long they would be there that day and when we could expect them to return the next day. They were always on time, always polite and courteous and I could not e happier with the work that they did. Our home has not looked this good in many years. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a professional and reliable painting company to call Rodolfo at Daddy and Junior Painting.

Rudolfo was contacted via phone on June 7, 2013. We agreed that he would come to my home to provide a quote for interior painting on Saturday, June 8th at 8am. I followed up our phone conversation with a text to Rudolfo to confirm the appointment per his request. On the day of the appointment, Rudolfo was a "no show". I contacted him via text at 8:20.He admitted that he had forgotten about the appointment. I adjusted my morning schedule and he came right away. Rudolfo arrived by 9:30. Rudolfo was very pleasant. We had a great conversation about the scope of work. He committed to responding back with a quote by midweek (I understood this to be by Wednesday, June 12th). It was made clear that we wanted to move swiftly to make a decision on the painting contractor. I contacted Rudolfo via text on the evening on June 12th (8pm) to ask when he would be getting back to us - no response back. I contacted him again on June 19th via text - again no response.... I never have received a follow-up response. It's not the way I do business and I cannot recommend Daddy and Junior Painting because of his lack of responsiveness.

Perfect job, they showed up as promised did fantastic work, clean, neat and beautiful. Painted the entire first floor of a two family apartment. Finished on time. There is no reason to even talk to any other painter. Great job.

Rodolfo and his team were excellent. First, Rodolfo is very responsive to calls and texts. He is a good communicator and proactive in reaching out. When he had a question about a certain part of the project, he called our cell phones to resolve it. The team worked in a timely fashion and addressed all the issues along the way. We also had the floors redone and they came back to touch up. His price was also very good/fair. We would highly recommend Rodolfo and his team, and will definitely use them again!!

$1450 included the cost of the paint they used. What I did like is that they came promptly to address any spots that they missed and I would call them again. The service they provided was great and the fact that they came back immediately when we had issues, was most important.

The finished product was seamless; very well done. They were also very flexible with scheduling and cleaned up after themselves.
