He showed up 6 hours after we talked on the phone, when he was supposedly leaving to do the job. By then it's dark out, and I'm irritated because he didn't even call but I feel bad for him and tell him to go ahead. Since it's dark, I asked him before he began if it was the same swing set as in the photo. He assured me that is was, just 4 yrs older than that photo but in rock solid condition. By the time he's done, and shows me the set under his truck lights, I can till it's assembled and that's about it. But I want him gone so I pay him and he goes. The next day I can see that it's not the same model, not the same brand, and in poor condition. Missing rungs on the ladders, missing swing, a screw in place of a missing bolt, etc. When I call him I get nowhere, he tries to tell me he said all along it was a SIMILAR swing set, which is a lie. Eventually he blocks my calls, which is his standard operating procedure when he gets complaints from what I've learned. His main "service" is moving, but the man has no honor and no integrity.

When he's done I take a quick look under the truck lights (it's about 9:30) and I can tell it's put together but that's about it. So I pay him and leave and hope the neighbors weren't kept awake. The next day I see it a different swing set, in disrepair and generally shoddy shape. Not what was advertised. When I called, he tried to tell me that all along he said it was a DIFFERENT swing set, just SIMILAR to what was in the ad. I ask for a refund, he refuses. Now he won't answer my calls, blocked by his phone. I'm the idiot for trusting him, but I have integrity. He has no honor. He has a poor reputation I have since found out.
