Tim was fantastic! After getting 3 wildly varied quotes, we decided to go with Tim, the middle quote. Tim gave us options, came to the house three times to make sure he had accurate measurements and was clear about what we were looking for. While we were away for two days, he did the bulk of the work, needing a third and half a fourth day to finish up. He gave my wife the fireplace mantle she had been dreaming of since we had bought our house! He also was willing to add on another project at the last minute, installing and painting a chair rail in a bedroom. He was a consummate professional throughout, always accessible, prompt and reliable. I could not recommend him any more highly,

He was a subcontractor. He was hired by another company to come and work for us. It was over a period of about six weeks on and off. He?d be here and we?d have to wait for materials to come in and then he?d come back. We didn?t pay him directly so I don?t know how much he charged us. He was wonderful. I would highly recommend him to anyone. We have decided on dong some other work in the house and we?re definitely going to call him when we proceed on that. He works incredibly hard. From the time that he came here till the time he left he was working. He is one of those people that we feel comfortable having in our house. He is punctual and very personable. He doesn?t live in this area, so he had to drive all the way here everyday. We worked out a schedule with him so that he could get here early and leave early. He was very willing to work around our schedule.

I had Tim, from ChaseCraft Custom Carpentry do a number of jobs to get a nursery ready for our new baby. These included custom shelving, a window seat with four rolling drawers underneath and painting two pieces of furniture. Tim initially came out and took measurements of the area where the open shelves and window seat would go. He sent me an email with a scale drawing of the built-ins and we discussed the rough cost. We agreed on some changes to the plans and he updated the drawing so we were both sure it represented exactly what I had in mind. He built the shelves, window seat and rolling storage for under the seat at his shop. He also spray painted a desk and dresser for the room. He delivered the furniture and did some final fitting on site to install the shelves and bench. I should mention the walls and ceiling are very uneven where the shelves were installed and the ceiling is angled. Also there were some outlet boxes that he had to be sure not to block. The built in furniture looks great and I am really pleased. As part of the same job, but for a different room I had him add a new shelf and support into an existing set of built-ins. He had to match the veneer on the front face of the shelves and he painted the surface to match (I had a paint shop do the color matching). You can't tell the new shelf wasn't part of the original unit.
