+ -1 moreFirst of all, Joe is a very nice man and very accommodating. We had a time frame of the month of August to complete the job and Joe said he could complete in two to three weeks. He is a general handy man and had other jobs and family obligations which kept him from working steadily on the house. He began on Aug. 1st and did not finish until the 28th. When our daughter tried to move back in on the 28th, the floors were still very rough. Joe came over when called that Sunday and agreed. In order to get the work completed before August 31st, my husband and I, along with Joe hand sanded the house and Joe put on another layer of sealer. Joe would have been willing to do it all himself but it would have taken much more time and we were on a deadline. Ultimately, the floors came out very nicely, the only problem was the length of time it took and that Joe did not recognize that the floors needed more finishing prior to our complaining.
Description of Work: We had the wood floors of our house in Bennington stripped, sanded and revarnished with no stain and two coats.

Description of Work: Joe came out promptly to give an estimate. We chose a different vendor because of time constraints, but I plan to use Joe for future work.

+ 4 moreJoe was prompt, courteous and professional. He protected other furnishings and kept his work area clean. We are very happy with Joe, his work and the cost of the project.
Description of Work: Joe installed oak floor in the kitchen, den and laundry area. He replaced the kitchen counter, installed tile floor in front of the fireplace, painted the den and wallpapered the kitchen. Joe also removed two walls, creating an open floor plan for the kitchen and den.
