Ken's Lawn Care

For the last 3-4 years, Ken and his crew have been a staple for spring yard clean up and and occasional fall clean-up when we needed extra help. Additionally, they have performed periodic pruning and trimming of bushes and trees as well as brush clearing. I have appreciated Ken's knowledgable input regarding landscaping questions I have had. And I have found Ken and his crew to be responsive to requests, reliable, and professional in providing their services.

We have been relying on Ken and his crew for spring yard cleanup, garden bed preparation, lawn mowing, and leaf cleanup for the past several years. They do a reliably excellent job, and Ken has always been responsive to any special requests we might have. We recommend them highly.

My driveway is about 1/4 mile long, and is surrounded by hardwood forests. Every fall I have to make sure the leaves are blown off the driveway and out of the culverts. It is a very big job. Ken did an excellent job, and from what I observed he is very conscientious and would do a very good job at whatever property care he was hired for.

They have done a number of jobs for me over the years - removed a bark mulch planting area and reestablishing the lawn, removing scrub brush and trees, hedge and shrub trimming, thatch removal and more. I've been pleased with every job and would hire again. In fact Ken is redoing my front walkway this year.

We were fortunate to find Ken Woofenden for a number of upgrades and maintenance at our cabin in Worthington, MA. He installed a new stone walkway and stone steps to the front door -- which eliminated a muddy path in the spring -- a photo is attached below. We also had a problem with snow melt and runoff in the spring collecting under the cabin, so Ken built a 'swale' on one side that redirected water down the slope. Last but not least, we hired Ken to maintain the yard and property -- and keep an eye on things when we weren't there. Again, excellent work. Ken's oversight also solved a problem when someone was trespassing on the property. His 'critter cam' identified the guy and a visit from the local police put an end to the issue.
