The work was finished but things missing. Overpriced!! This work was performe at the house I am buying from a widiow at 5 Greenleaf Ave, West Springfield, MA 01089

Workers came and started removing old flooring and began digging basement right away. According to the workers, they would have to get a cement truck through my drive way and back yard. Had i known that the driveway would get totally destroyed and my back yard all sunkened because of the wieght of the truck, i would had declined. But i know nothing about construction or the work these guys do, so i went with their recommendation. The floor is not even, some parts of the cement floor is was not smoothed out, so theres bumps on it. Once they left i noticed my drive way destroyed and my back yard was ruined. I tried calling them, and the company sent the same guy that did the work. So ofcourse nothing could be done.. "Not their fault" as they claimed. The owner or whoever is in charge of the company did not even call. My driveway was not perfect to begin with, but once they left it was ruined. I never wanted to get a new driveway replaced, all i asked was to get the cement fixed near my garage, so that i wont fall taking my motorcycle out, but they refused. So theres my story and experience using mr home.. Hope it helps.

THEY NEVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED! i spoke to them earlier in the day and they said they were coming, they had my number! very unreliable!

The job turned out to be fine and I had no complaints. They responded pretty quickly. I would recommend them.

The problem has yet to be resolved.

They were great. I had to call them back to fix one small problem but overal they did a good job. They were very prompt, reasonably priced and professional. They make you feel confident in their work.

They were good and on time. They did what they said they would do. It was a very good experience.

They were courteous and they came in and did the job correctly. They were easy to work with. They were responsive, punctual and professional. I would use them again in the future.

We called many many contractors over the course of two days, as after we began removing the walls and the ceilings on our first floor due to water damage from ice dams this winter, we came to the conclusion we had bitten off more than we could chew. After discovering heavy mold infiltration (an extremely severe allergy for me), we quickly realized we were in over our heads, and parted ways with the plaster repair contractor we had begun the job with. We called our insurance adjuster, who strongly suggested we put on the brakes, and instead look for a local licensed mold remediation contractor. Although we received a return phone call in a very timely fashion during weekend hours, and a prompt on time estimate the following day... I was left with an extremely uneasy feeling during the estimate process. Mr. Home quoted a whopping $8500.00 for the remainder of the demolition (roughly 75% of which was done on the first floor of our tiny little cape style home), the removal of affected material (once agin, roughly 75% done), the remediation of the affected areas, and finally the replacement of the drywall. I have already purchased all of the insulation, plaster, and blue board (amongst other items related to the job) for more than the square footage affected... so the total left me nervous. Long story short, we have since had three other contractors quote between $2000.00, and $3000.00 for the same exact work. Beware, this outfit seems a bit predatory for our tastes. Although prompt, be sure to compare rates.

Mr. Homeand trade;(Bill Sweeney) did a fantastic job redoing our front walk at no cost to us! After inspecting the original work, Mr. Homeand trade; was not satisfied. We want to praise the way in which the entire situation was handled. We were 100%+ impressed with the caliber and professionalism of the individuals sent to evaluate the original walk; those who redid the work; and the completed project. We highly recommend Mr. Homeand trade;.

The work in the basement was done quick, the guys were friendly. I have no complaints over the work they did in the basement. But in the long run. It is going to cost me alot more than i paid to get the damage fix. I tried to be fair and once they receive payment. They are done. I wish things would have been differently. But when i comes down to it. They do not work with you.

The owner sent his masonary guy over on 2/15/2010 to place the liner in the existing chimney and repoint the bricks of the chimney in the basement. I noticed a ring of water around the bottom of the chimney approximately a week later which extended to half way up the chimney. I called Mr Home and he said he would have someone contact me the next week as all of his personnel were dealing with the flooding in the Boston area. I did not receive a call and had to call once again and he set an appointment for them to come out the next week. They never showed and I had to call again. I pressured him for a specific time to insure that someone would come. He sent out the same man who installed the liner, and he was at a loss because he had no idea why the chimney was wet. He went into the attic and thought he felt some damp spots. He asked me to check the chimney upstairs in the attic the next time we had a good rain, which I did and could not find any leaks. I called back to report my findings and tell them that the chimney was still wet and the roof was not the problem. He promised he would send someone out. No one showed and I had to call again and pressure him to give me a date and time. He again sent the same man who did not know how to fix the problem the first time again. He still had no idea how to fix it. I am to the point where I am going to have to have another company come and look at the chimney and the wetness to get the problem fixed. My chimney has not been dry since I had the repair done. The owner of Mr Home obviously does not care if I have a problem or not, as he has never initiated coming out to look at the problem himself. He figures he got paid and that's the end of it. He sends someone over to appease me. I am totally frustrated with the service as it has causes me nothing but aggrivation. I would never use this company again or recommend this company to anyone.

Overall the job went well. There was a delay of about a week but the contractor called and advised me. One gutter was missed. I called and they came back and fixed the gutter with no problem. The gutter installation looked very good. The repairs were done well too.

They were very good, they worked with me on all of the work details. They were able to find different solutions to my problems which saved me about three thousand dollars, they were very neat and considerate. They also put in six new cellar windows and they put up window wells up for me. They also fixed my gutter that was leaking. We did have a rain storm and there was no leak at all.

They sealed the crack up and dug around the foundation. We do not have the problem anymore, and they did a real good job. They did what they said they were going to do.
