1) Took a while to schedule someone. Service department very ridged and not easy to work with. 2) Tech came out, didn't have the part in hand (They were given the model & s/N of the unit), bypassed thermostat to get freezer going, "ordered the part" 3) 4 days later, tech arrived with the part, installed it, checked system, left. 4) Tech did not use all the screws to secure the sheet steel panel. I had to find screws to stop the vibration noises.

Description of Work: Checked my gas range for malfunction I had already identified.Their serviceman did not bother to reach the malfunctioning part (clock & control unit) for possible loose or broken connection, only ran torchlight up and down back of range and concluded that part needed replacement at probable cost of $500,as I had feared was the case.I gave him a check for $99, as agreed in my visit to the store, and he gave me a $50 rebate certificate for purchase of new range at Manny's.It was a scam.

I use them all the time. Every appliance I own comes from them.I have a pair of washer and drier, and I have 3 kids and my has to do 3 loads of laundry every day. I have had them for nearly 10 years, and I have just replaced one part in those years. I paid something outrageous for them, but they are the best.

Manny's TV and Appliance did not charge us anything for removal of old appliances like the other places that we checked. I liked their depth of knowledge with regards to the appliances, they seemed to know a lot about what various manufacturers were offering and when the rebates would be available, they have a lot of manufacturer specific knowledge. We dealt with the store manager Bruce, for some reason I went in thinking it would be a very high pressure environment and in fact, I found the opposite, they were very easy to deal with, they let the customer dictate the direction, rather than steer you into one thing but once you were interested in learning about a particular appliance, they had a great deal of information. Their prices were terrific. Their prices must change frequently and each appliance that we looked at had the regular price and the manufacturers suggested price but every time we looked at an appliance, he said don't go by that and he would go and check if we could get it for less. We got another USD 100 off and in addition to that he was going to make sure that there were manufacturers rebates on that so not only did he give us a sale price, and then he ensured that there were rebates on those and then he got all the rebate forms pulled and filled out for us. I was very impressed about that.

Manny's was a really bad experience for me. Manny's lost my beautiful Bosch dishwasher, so I can't get it delivered. Manny's won't return my money, so I can't buy another dishwasher. Manny's management has been unresponsive to my attempts to collect either a dishwasher or money. I have been trying to get this accomplished for quite some time as it is now 4 years later!! I was calling them about a year ago, and got to spend time on hold waiting for people who were never available at the times that I called, even if I called at the exact time when I had been told to call back. Clearly, I get the run around from them. My salesperson has been calling management for me - same story, no resolution. At this point, I am through asking for the dishwasher. I want my money back. This time around, it's all going to be in writing. Instead of clicking on their links to email them, I copied their address into my own email, so I have a record of my correspondence. This time around, I am hoping that by posting on Angie's list, I can get their attention to fix the problem they gave me (happy holidays!), and I won't have to take them to court. and quot;We have to do better... we live hereand quot; has not come true for me. The problem is not with the salespeople, who I have to say, seem wonderful. The problem for me has been the management at Manny's when things go wrong. Next time I buy a dishwasher or other appliance, I will go to other places (look up my other reviews to see my recommendations). A great sales force cannot make up for a total lack of support from management - when the chips are down, Manny's isn't there for me. By the way: I rated the price as and quot;Fand quot; because the roughly $550 that I paid for the Bosch dishwasher would have been a good price for that dishwasher, but I got nothing in return, so it was a really bad price!! I could have bought some air for a lot cheaper than that!
Description of Work: I bought a nice, quiet Bosch dishwasher from Manny's in 2007. Overall, that was one of the roughly 7 major appliances I have bought from Manny's over the years. It is now 2011, and the dishwasher has still not been delivered.
