Rob is extremely thorough and does meticulous work. While powerwashing our house, he found other things that needed to be fixed and took care of them for us. Our house looks better than when we moved in 10 years ago! He also cleaned our gutters and did an amazing job, and even trimmed back some weeds. He hung several pictures for us and fixed a broken dining room chair. He's very communicative and always explains everything he's doing. A pleasure to do business with (and our house looks great!)

Rob is incredibly thorough. There will be more insects in my house than in the cat enclosure. Prior to his work, it consisted of wood frame plus chicken wire. When he was done screening in the enclosure, it was insect-proof (he doesn't claim it is, but it is). He overlapped seams in the screens, caulked them, stapled them, secured every entryway. Now I won't have to worry about taking my cat to the vet all the time. And it looks nice!

Excellent. Rob is very knowledgeable, skilled, and honest. I am a widow and a recent empty-nester and live in an old house, and I need help on projects that are just beyond me. Rob always conscientiously explains the options and is respectful of my budget needs. He has been indispensable. He is a very hard and conscientious worker. I am so glad I found him; worth his weight in gold.

Rob is great-- very thoughtful and methodical about his work. He takes pride in everything he does, and he's very careful to do the job the best way possible. He pays great attention to detail, which is great. We're now regular clients and call him for many different items to fix in the home. If he doesn't know how to do something he will look it up, and come back with a variety of different options. In addition, he is fair in his pricing, and just a nice person to be around generally.

I needed a door removed and replaced without removing the framing which is not easy to do. Rob did an excellent and efficient job selecting and picking up the door, installing a cat door and fitting the door into the frame perfectly. He also did a great job hanging curtain rods and drapes. Rob is very honest and trustworthy. He does an excellent job at reasonable prices. I appreciate the work he did and recommend him.

Rob was the ultimate professional. He was truthful with the extent of possible work to be done removing a very old ceiling and replacing it. He provided me tips on how to remove the old ceiling myself so I could save some money. He and his partner showed up on time each of the four days they worked. They did an absolutely fantastic job and I will be hiring Rob to do more work in my home very soon.

Rob did a great job with a variety of small repairs around my house. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and would hire again.

It went well. Rob pulled out about 200 pounds of rotted material from both my house and garage gutters. I did not envy him, and it was well worth the price not to have to risk falling off a ladder (which would have happened if I did it myself). Additionally, Rob made repairs that were needed. The result - the downspouts actually worked when it rained three days later (i.e. I did not have Niagara Falls running off my house).

Rob repaired and replaced our master bath ceiling. The ceiling looks clean, finished and amazing now. Rob also repainted the master bath and master bedroom ceiling, walls and trim. The rooms now look finished, clean and professionally done. We couldn't be happier. Rob is honest, friendly, trustworthy and an extremely hard worker! We will definitely hire Rob again!

The whole experience was great. Rob was extremely knowledgeable and went through his detailed plans with me for the project prior to starting work. He was prompt and efficient in his work. As he repaired various sections of damaged trim he took time to run me through what he was doing and why he was doing it in terms of boards that were replaced versus boards that were repaired. In addition, he advised other areas that potentially needed attention and worked with me as far as what the best solution to the issue was. He was very honest in pointing out areas that may eventually need attention but weren’t an issue for the time being, which I appreciated and which I felt showed a great deal of honesty which I appreciate in a contractor. I felt everything about the project was very fair and reasonable. The work performed was top notch and the attention to detail was very prevalent, which is very important to me. This project was the first stage of an eventual complete trim painting project in my home and I look forward to Rob completing the rest of the job in the spring.

It went great ! Rob was polite and professional and consulted with me at every step so I could make decisions as the project continued. He was always on time. Excellent! Could not have gone better!

Widowed in my 50's and not at all handy around the house, I needed a go-to guy when something needed fixing. I first called Rob Sirois last October to fix my bow window.(See above). He made clear his 4-hour minimum work policy. I was impressed with Rob's professionalism and his work ethic. He did a great job on the window!! There were several other jobs that needed to be done as the autumn turned into winter. He was busy, but always got back to me promptly, and got everything done when he said he would do it. He even called to tell me if he was running late! Most importantly, Rob looked after my home when I had to go away for 3 months during the winter to care for a sick loved one. This was not set up ahead of time; I had no idea I was going to be away so long. I contacted Rob and told him what was going on. He did not hesitate; he agreed to go to the house every couple weeks, check the property, check the pipes, run the water, add water to the boiler if necessary, etc..,etc., all the TLC an old house needs in the winter. He sent me photos of downspouts and elbows damaged by ice; I gave him the OK to repair them. He even took down my Christmas decorations so my neighbors wouldn't be looking at them on Valentine's Day! Upon my return, the house was in good shape. I did not have reason to believe it would otherwise! Rob Sirois works hard. His fee schedule is fair. His workmanship is impeccable. And above all, he is trustworthy.

Things went well. Rob emailed me the same day he got my message. He already had some things going on, and I was limited on my available days, but we were done in about 3 weeks. He got the job done and cleaned up really well after. I was very impressed. He has a 4-hour minimum, and tried to make sure I had 4 hours of work for him to do.

I initially contacted Rob to install shelves. He explained his billing policy (minimum hours) and that he wanted me to get the most for my money. I added on the caulking of the bulkhead. I had the shelves and some install options. Rob inquired how I intended to use it, how much weight it would bear and grasped how I like things to look. He brought additional hanging options. I ultimately used what he brought. While caulking, he pointed out my downspouts were gathering ice and needed more immediate attention to prevent ice dams. In addition to guiding me on addressing the downspouts, he also offered guidance on moving the shelves around should I want to and tricks of the trade re: the towel racks he installed. He did not talk down to me either (being a woman and all). I would not hesitate to reach out to Rob again!

I had a great experience working with Rob. First, he provided me with a thorough explanation of the issues with the gutters and a description of his proposed fixes, along with a detailed and very fair estimate for the work. He was able to view and assess the situation quickly, and on short notice, and got back to me in a reasonable amount of time. This helped me feel confident about moving forward with the work. Within a few days, Rob began the work. He was very communicative throughout the process, and I understood what was happening and why the whole way through. He did a great job, worked very hard, and I was very satisfied with the results and the cost. Rob even came back a week later to fix up a few extra finishing touches, which was much appreciated. I can highly recommend his services, and would definitely use him again.

Rob was absolutely FANTASTIC. He is extremely professional, hard-working, and honest. It is difficult to find people you can trust but Rob is someone you can trust! My drop down ceiling was pretty much destroyed from water damage. Rob did a wonderful job and my ceiling looks great! I would highly recommend him to anyone. I almost want to ruin something so he can come fix it.

Rob was excellent and kept me informed throughout the job. Very professional! We are now on his schedule for next year! He is A++++.

It went perfectly as did at least a dozen other projects Rob Sirois has done for us over the past five years. His care and expertise have allowed me to trust him with any job he tackles.

Rob did a great gob. Very thorough in cleaning all of my gutters on the house. My main concern was the sagging and loose gutter in the back that Rob was able to repair by adding a number of new hangers inside the gutter. Overall it looks much better and feels a lot stronger. He also made recommendations for the down-sprouts and pointed out areas that I should watch for that he noticed around the house. Was very responsive, took care of the problems very quick after the initial phone call, and explained everything to me in detail. A true professional to work with and hope to be able to utilize his services in the future.

I have used Rob's services for a couple of years and have been very pleased with his work, so when I had ice dam damage from last winter's storms, I asked him if he could repair the damage. I knew it was a little more involved than what he usually does, but he and a friend were able to complete the work. They replaced two water damaged ceilings for me. They put up sheet rock then plastered over the sheet rock and then painted the ceilings. This replaced the water damage as well as getting rid of the pop corn finished ceiling. One dining room wall had to be replaced completely. A water damage contracted had knocked down the wall and removed everything leaving the bare wood. Rob put in new insulation, but had to build up some of the studs because they were not the correct width for today's products. After the insulation was installed, he put up sheet rock and plastered over it than painting the wall. After painting the wall he put up the two knick knack shelves that had been attached to the wall. Rob spent considerable time corking the outside of the house. The siding job is not very good, so there were holes, etc which Rob try to full in with corking to prevent further water damage.

It went great, Rob spent well over 6 hours at my house up on a ladder and on my roof. The gutters were in desperate need of some TLC and Rob was GREAT! He went above and beyond! He did such a great job that I'm having him back in the spring to do some additional work. A true gentlemen that is a craftsman and you can tell that he really cares about doing a great job. Rob is a true "gem" and I'm glad that I found him on Angie's list!

Last winter, my back door would not close because ice was in the hinges. Rob came out immediately to give it a a temporary fix. I thought I would need the entire food and frame replaced, but Rob was able to make repairs saving me hundreds of dollars. He was even able to find the matching grout color to repair the broken pieces around the door. I would highly recommend Signature Home Services.

I would have given Rob a very good review at first but now feel that I can only give an average review. He was responsive at first and very punctual but when he arrived I was a little concerned to learn that he had some back issues and so certain tasks might be difficult. I asked him to do five things - Re-attach wire to house - perfectly done Hung a blind - perfectly done Hung a Shelf - 3 inches above where it was marked - shame on me for not going in and checking before he left IKEA Cabinet - directions challenging and he really didn't want to proceed if here were going to be issues down the line etc, which I appreciated - but it took quite a while to figure out he wasn't comfortable proceeding. Caulking around tub - initially all looked perfect but after a month - I noticed that on the ceiling below bathroom a water stain was appearing - thought it might be rain but upon closer inspection the caulking was pulling away from tub. I wrote to Rob and asked him if he could come by and take a look as well as do a few other things - after about a 2 week delay he wrote that he was very busy and couldn't get to this. I then asked if he would at least come by and look at the caulking. I never heard back. Since then I have had another person come in and replace everything and now also fix ceiling etc. I was disappointed because I wanted to continue to work with Rob - I feel I am pretty easy going about this stuff and am disappointed that it didn't work out.
