Driveways by Heap Inc

It wasn't great, it is difficult scheduling the service, no call no show on actual perform date. The plan is, they will remove the tree stumps and all the landscaping before laying the asphalt and they said they will come back in two weeks and lay the asphalt walkway and patio so the ground will settle. So, when they showed up at my house with heavy duty equipment to remove the tree stumps they said they're going to do all the works today. The bottom line is, instead of doping it on schedule, they wanted to do it right away in 1 day and I did not like that. My walkway is now wavy like ocean waves because they did not allow the ground to settle properly before laying the asphalt. I've been very patient I always email them and text them from December until today but they didn't get back to me.

Initially - perfect. Upon finding a dip in the driveway (puddling, etc) they claimed they could come by and re-heat/roll it to level it out (May 2019). 8 unanswered calls later - i have 2 voicemails and one review response claiming they would schedule it ASAP (+1 gave a date with a no-show) and i'm still ghosted. Contacted lawyer to get my money back - we'll see how that goes. Just unprofessional - check the reviews. it's consistent. if it doesn't go well, they ignore you until you quit. I'm not having it.

The best contractor we've ever worked with. The whole team was extremely professional and very reliable. Clearly a company that is comitted to customer satisfaction! And of course our driveway is absolutely stunning!! I am blown away by this company. From the initial phone call to book a quote, to shaking hands with the owner at the end, the whole process with Heap was very impressive.

Justin was a one man show, very courteous and meticulous in cleaning the driveway before filling the voids and cracks, cutting in the seal coat and looking back over his work to make sure all was right. Extremely happy with the final product and would recommend HEAP to family and friends.

The first contact with Genevieve (GM) was in the fall of 2018. After getting quotes from multiple companies I decided to use Heap in April 2019. Price wise everyone was pretty close to each other and that is why I gave them a B. As for the work that was done, I was told and given in writing that they would do a complete excavation, regrade pitch for water run off, install a 4-6 inch base and reset water shutoff pipe. After removing the old asphalt I asked Genevieve about setting the water pipe and was told they had a tool to adjust and reset it. Instead of a tool, they used the Bobcat with a chain to pull the pipe up. When they were compacting the new asphalt it sank so much they had to dig it up with a shovel and use a chain by hand to try to level it. Since then it has sunk to the point that when it rains there is a puddle. As for the driveway itself, I'm attaching photos to show how bad this work is. There are roller marks all over the driveway, water collects at the base and 3 months later we are still getting tire marks from the cars sinking in the pavement. I initially called the office and was told I would get a call later that day from either Genevieve or Bob. I never received a call and have called them a half dozen times and emailed photos, with no return calls or follow-up. My last call to Driveways by Heap was on June 25th and as I am writing this post I have not received a return call or email. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking to have asphalt work done not only because of the very poor work that was done, but more so on the fact that they would not return my calls or email to make this right!

A+ service from start to finish. After having a hard time just getting a quote from other vendors, Driveways By Heap was responsive and attentive from the moment I called. Genevieve was great and explained everything during the quote process, which she gave me before she left. We were very happy with the price and scheduled the work right away. We were away on vacation when they did the work and were super flexible with making payment after we got back. Our new driveway looks great and the family is already enjoying it. I would highly recommend Driveways By Heap and they will be my first call if I ever need additional work.

We contacted Driveways By Heap for a redo of our falling apart driveway and to have it expanded. From my first contact to job complete, the entire crew was awesome. Genevieve was great to work with along with Bob, the owner. They were communicative, showed up on time, worked fast but meticulous, and the price was incredibly reasonable. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone with driveway work needed and use them again in the future. Thank you to all!

We had weather delays but First eligible day to start, the crew arrived on time. They got straight to work. They answered all my questions and were very personable and professional. They went above and beyond even taking care of the mailbox for us and the mail person!! They left outer home clean. We also needed this done in a timely manner due to other contractor working a septic issue. They communicated with them so everyone was on the same page. HEAP also called the appropriate utility company to come out and mark. Highly recommend!! We are so happy!! Thanks again, Bob and crew!!!

Booking an estimation appointment was quick and easy. However, after that, everything went downhill. The quote took almost 3 weeks to be sent to me. After that, I tried several times to call to book a day for them to start the work and no one would ever call me back. A few times they would answer the phone and tell me that the "scheduler" would call me but no one ever did. I also sent 2 emails asking to go ahead and schedule a data to start the job and no answer on the email either.

Great job by the team. My new driveway looks beautiful. The sides are straight and neat. There are two Heap companies, we used the one out of Hanson.

Everything went well. Driveways by Heap was punctual, professional and completed the job on time and at a competitive price. The driveway looks great, I recommend Driveways by Heap to pave your driveway.

Driveways by Heap did an amazing job of edging and grading our driveway so that not only it looks amazing but the water treads away from our garage and home.

It was absolutely amazing. I can't say enough about this company. They had the best price by far after shopping around. They had great, clear cut communication that left no confusion or unanswered questions. I was beyond impressed with the employees, the owner being on-site throughout the whole job, their site manager, and everyone else. They were extremely attentive to detail, super friendly, and so easy to work with. I absolutely would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Exaxtly as hoped. Was a little difficult planning a time, but once they had an opening, it all happened quickly and exactly what we wanted. Additionally, we had a stone wall installed shortly after, and Heap came down, filled the gaps between the wall and the driveway, and fixed a couple of tire marks on one of the driveways! My only complaint is that I still haven't gotten my Heap T-shirt :). A special shout out to Genevieve - she made it all happen. They will be my ONLY choice for getting the driveway sealed this year.

Driveways By Heap paved my driveway in June of 2017. They did a great job. I have received many compliments on my driveway. It is now time to sealcoat it and I will definitely be calling them to do the work.

I originally wrote a review on 10/27 complaining no one was contacting me but they finally called and apologized and got me scheduled in. They came on time the day of the project and worked very efficiently and cleaned up. Genevieve was great at explaining to me the process and the price was the best estimate I got for my long driveway. It was nice having a female to speak to (I know it should not matter but it was refreshing) and break down everything to me. My house looks so much better now and I would recommend them to anyone needing asphalt work.

Bob and Genevieve were awesome, they were able to pitch all of the water away from my house down to the street. Very courteous and professional, I will recommend them to everyone!

Everything went smoothly. They were on time and finished the job within the specified time range. They did all clean up. From beginning to end they were very professional.

Very disappointed, Heap came out, gave an estimated on a driveway extension, we wanted them to do the job, they scheduled the date to do job, even called with an approximate time they would arrive. Never showed up, no phone call, no response to my phone call. They put in a new driveway in the fall, did a nice job, they were professional and price was good. Don't know what to think of this. Now left searching for another company to do the job as we had a fence installation scheduled that now must be postponed.

Awesome company. Professional service. Experienced in driveway repair, installation and seal coating. Genevieve will come out to give you a quote, which are reasonable in comparisons with other companies we looked at. Bob the owner actually comes out to every job site and personally installs all driveways, as if it was his own driveway. The customer services is outstanding they are very knowledgable, and we recommend this company to anyone looking for quality work on their driveway.

When I called, I spoke with Genevieve in regards to getting a quote. She was extremely knowledgeable and polite. She answered all of my questions and was able to explain everything to me in full detail, which was extremely helpful due to the fact that I was a first time home buyer and didn't know a single thing about getting my driveway paved. Genevieve came out to my house to give me a quote and I couldn't believe how personable and helpful she was. She walked me through the entire process, as well as what to expect from start to finish. She made me feel "at ease" about the whole process. This is a woman that knows what she's talking about! She gave me an amazing quote that I couldn't pass up and I scheduled my service date. The day came to have my driveway paved and the owner of Driveways By Heap, Bob, showed up with his employees, who were extremely polite and professional. They completed the work and Bob told me how to properly maintain my freshly paved driveway. Bob told me that if I had any questions or issues, to not hesitate to reach out to him. I can't begin to explain how wonderful it was to work with a company that is so focused on customer service and satisfaction! I would absolutely recommend them to my family and friends and am truly happy with the services that they provided me with.

Called several companies for estimates. Heap responded fairly quickly and came out at my requested time for the consult. They had the lowest price and the better warranty for their work, so we went with them to have the work done. Subsequent phone calls were made, which all but one time ended up with voice-mail. I had to call a couple of times to get a confirmation of the schedule. Once that was set, it was smooth sailing. They finished the job before ours early, so were able to start earlier. They made short work of the demo of my old driveway and walk. New driveway and walk were laid quickly and efficiently. They answered all the questions I had throughout the process. Overall, I thought they were great and would absolutely use them again.

I dealt with Genevieve Coughlin and owner Robert Heap and both were very helpful and professional. Everything went smoothly even though we found out there were 2 layers of asphalt to remove. I kept the existing size of the driveway but did not have them pave the walkways because I was having paver walkways installed. Genevieve suggested having the asphalt overlap the walkways a little so the paver contractor could cut the new asphalt to line up with the new pavers when installed. It turned out that that idea was a god one, I just had my walkway pavers installed last week and it turned out perfect. I will be hiring them to come back to do the seal coat. I want to have it seal coated however since it was not paved properly I am not going to. He did not do a good job. I have tried numerous times to contact him & he is unresponsive.
