Description of Work: Installed 2 hydronic electric baseboards in rooms on 2nd and 3rd floor plus new circuits. Wires were fished and hidden very well and job done very quickly or better word efficiently. Dan and his helper were very professional and kept us up to date with the plan and how all was progressing. I have future projects I need to plan with Dan and I feel lucky to have found him.

Description of Work: I had a couple of electrical problems. My front yard lamp post fell over and the wires were exposed. He capped them off and moved the lamp post to the side of the garage. My dining room switch was not working and had to be replaced. One of my cellar outlets had to be rewired. He adjusted my thermostat for me.

Description of Work: Not sure about the date they came. We were given an estimate for a job to have an exhaust fan installed in the bathroom and an outlet for our over the stove microwave. We approved the work based on that estimate. I believe we had a misunderstanding about the what the estimate was actually for and when we got the bill it was higher than the estimate. Ultimately, this issue was worked out. Other than that, we did not have any issues. The work was performed in a professional manner, on time and the quality of work was great. | |Only comment to the company would be that if you give out an estimate and the job is going to be more or contain items not included in the estimate, that should be discussed before the work is performed instead of billing the customer after the fact. I do appreciate you working through this issue with us.

+ -1 moreWe woke up with several outlets in our bedroom and our bathroom lights not working. We found Mr. Driscoll on Angie's List and contacted him. While he was not able to answer right away, he returned my phone call within an hour or 2 and was able to come to the house the next day. He was prompt and arrived on time, and was able to diagnose and fix our electric problem quickly and efficiently. We had also been having trouble with our furnace; while it was not a problem Mr. Driscoll cound fix, he referred us to a furnace repairman he had worked with who was also an excellent repairman. Our experience with Mr. Driscoll is that he is thorough, pleasant, and fast. It's nice to know that I have someone to call now when we need an electrician!

+ -1 moreHe actually was going to give me back money because it didn't cost as much as he thought but he did a great job. He called me back and said he overestimated and will send me back $50 which I thought was really huge but I told him he didn't have to. I told him if you get up on the ladder and dangle there then you can keep it because that's hazard duly pay. I appreciated his callback. I don't know how many people would do that. He was a nice guy, brought the house up, and he was right on time. He did everything perfectly. I would use them again in the future without question. I actually asked if I could call him again and he said he'd be pleased.
Description of Work: Dan Driscoll Electric Company came out and replaced a ceiling fan in about a 20-foot ceiling on a 12-foot ladder. I don't know how he did it but he did it. He put in a new ceiling flush mount fixture, took that one and moved it somewhere else and then took the third one down and we threw that out and then he did a bathroom exhaust fan and rerouted the exhaust pipe because it was put in wrong originally apparently.

Always punctual and calls earlier in the week to confirm appointments. He was very careful to protect the new vanity and tub and cleaned/vacuumed any mess he made. I am so happy with his work I am hiring him for my kitchen remodel too!
Description of Work: Electrical work for a bathroom remodel including exhaust fan with light, over the vanity light, moving switches and outlets, and bringing it up to current building codes.

He explains what he's doing, what our options are, sees and fixes things other electricians have missed or done wrong, etc. His last job came in way under his estimate - he was playing it safe in his estimate because we thought we might have active old wiring. But we didn't. Dan's the man.

+ -1 moreThey were very accommodating and did everything that was supposed to be done and fixed up everything. They were very proactive. I would rate them high overall and would definitely use them again in the future if needed.
Description of Work: Dan Driscoll is my electrician. The last time I had interactions with him was in April this year. He did the whole bunch of electrical work such as putting up sockets, making sure that everything was grounded and fixing up things that were not rightly put up.
