It was great! Dan and his partner were right on time, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. They did a fantastic job and we're definitely planning to have them back for more service in the future.

Dan was great. When I explained what I thought the issues were, he discussed the options with me, discussed the safety implications, the costs, and handled the communication with the town inspectors. Dan was punctual, polite and took great care to do a thorough (and neat!) job. When I had some questions about how to work something a few days later, Dan stopped by immediately to help me out. I will definitely recommend him.

Great, fast. Dan helped work out the details and was very receptive to providing the best solution. He kept me appraised of the costs of every decision.

He does a very good job. He is very clean and pickups after himself. Not everyone is like him and for that reason I would highly recommend him and will always keep him in mind for any electrical repairs.

This was the 3rd time I used Dan Driscoll Electric and he was courteous, friendly, and professional as usual. He replaced a few older security lights with new LED motion lights, moved an exterior light to a more useful area and changed it to a motion light (this also involved splitting a switch), removed a security light (on the back corner of the house where it made no sense), installed a usb outlet in the kitchen, and ran cable to my office. Dan is always very helpful and budget conscious, he offered me numerous options for the new security lights, even calling from the store to go over the types and pricing. Originally I had wanted the cable outlet in the wall, turned out the wall was made of cement blocks. Dan was willing to install the outlet but also offered other options. I decided to have the cable come up through the closet floor rather than install it in the concrete wall to save on labor costs. They also cleaned up everything - all packaging, old lights, etc. Nothing was left for me to pick up. When you call Dan Driscoll Electric, you get Dan directly. He answers the phone, does the estimate, and does the work. That's pretty rare these days. Working with Dan is always great, I hope I never have to find another electrician!

Dan called me right away and came to my house within a few days to check work that I had requested, and gave me an estimate. He was very professional and explained everything to me that needed to be done. His work, along with his helper was done fast, efficiently and impeccably. I couldn't ask for more. Perfect! I apologize to Dan and his team for not writing this review earlier. One of those things on my to-do list but totally forgot. I was reviewing Angies list for another home project and remembered the great job Dan did. He was professional, prompt and offered several helpful recommendations. I needed a concrete pad and Dan arranged all of the details. His price was very fair and he was upfront with all the expected costs. Dan and his team performed a couple of extra electrical request for basically the cost of parts. Needless to say we would use him again for all of our electrical needs and highly recommend him to friends.

I live over an hour away from my father who is almost 99 years old. It can be challenging to manage his household needs from a distance. Fortunately his area is included in my Angie's List territory. I looked up electricians for his area and Dan's name came up with a bunch of great reviews. I called him on a Sunday, never expecting him to answer. I was surprised when he picked up the phone and agreed to help my father out by mid-week. He did the work he promised within the given timetable. The heat is working great and my Dad can now easily use his new thermostat. Dan has good communication skills, responds to emails and even called me to let me know the work was done. My Dad hasn't complained so that's a bonus!!

Dan did an excellent job. We received four estimates and his was the lowest. I generally will not go with the lowest because I don't want "cheap" work, but I was impressed his knowledge and thoroughness and with the reviews on Angie's list. We were extremely satisfied with his work and would definitely hire him again.

Dan was on time for the estimate and for the day he performed the work. He was courteous and his price was reasonable. I will definitely call him when further electrical needs arise. I highly recommend him.

It went pretty good. They were reliable and were prompt. He came back and did a free follow up after something had tripped in the system.

The ballast needed to be replaced in my overhead lights for a commercial condo. It turns out that this type of ballast is no longer available so Dan swapped it out for a newer ballast and replace the bulbs so they would match. He called to let me know when he would arrive and then was early. He went right to work, fixed the problem, and charged a reasonable fee. I highly recommend that you use Dan Driscoll Electric. Plus Dan is a friendly and likeable man.

Dan wired our small guest house to accommodate the appliances and switches that would be needed, installed a panel, and ran the main electric and cable wires through a conduit from the main house. He was punctual, polite and did excellent work. I won't hesitate to have him do work for us in the future - a great experience all around.

Dan made an appointment to come on my day off and showed up right on time. He made a very quick evaluation of the job that needed to be done and gave me his ideas as to how he would proceed. He said that he hoped he could fix the motor or replace it and have a new fitting made to install it in the existing hole in the roof. All went as planned and Dan said that he could be at my location exactly 1 week from the original appointment. He arrived on time again and promptly made the repair ,asked me to inspect it before he left and gave me his bill which was actually slightly less than he had quoted me. He provides excellent customer service and also takes pride in his work which is a quality that is had to find these days I highly recommend this provider

I had an issue with the hardwired smoke detectors in my 3 family home. they went off in the middle of the night. The fire department came and checked everything. They said to call an electrician. I came to Angies list to start my search. I was ecstatic to find someone who was close by. I called Dan and he got back to me on the same day and came out the next day to fix the issue. He had to replace 7 hardwired detectors and check the system. Great job and quick as well. Will definitely use him again. He took the time to explain what caused the problem . Very personable, professional and reasonable as well. 5 star service *****

Great experience all around. Communication was easy by phone and email. Although he did not do the the actual work, the electrician he sent was professional, courteous and did a great job. I would not to use Dan for future work

Mr. Driscoll came out to our house in January to give us an estimate on the cost to connect a generator to our house. He was very professional and answered all of our questions, gave us recommendations on what generator to buy and where to buy it. Mr. Driscoll installed the box today, was on time and told me it would take a couple of hours to installed, in which it did. We had a coupon from Angie's List for 5% percent off and save $50.00 off the total balance. We were very satisfied with Driscoll Electric and will use them again when we need electrical work done.
