 + -1 moreBoth the basement stairwell and the kitchen needed additional lighting. Brian Mitchell called us within a week after submitting the coupon. He was able to come to our house on the same day. He provided us with a few options (least expensive to most expensive). On the day of installation, he arrived on time and completed the job in the time he specified on the quote. I would definately hire Brian again for any future electrical needs.

 + 0 moreThe job went very well. He was very pleasant and easy to talk to. I am always interested and curious in learning things and he took the time to show and explain things to me. I never felt at any time that I was bothering him or getting in his way. When he was finished, the light switch for upstairs closet looks like it has always been there. The job could not have gone any better and would use Mr. Mitchell in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: A 3-way light switch that I intended on putting a dimmer on was not wired correctly which he figured out and corrected. Subsequently, he installed a light in our closet on the second floor.

When he came for the free estimate he made notes of everything I was concerned with, came up with solutions for problems, and explained everything to me as thoroughly as I wanted him to. He keeps you updated as he works so you understand everything that's being done. Additionally, When installing the new cable jack he noticed a water damage problem with my wall and informed me of it right away so that I could get it fixed by a carpenter or handyman. We will definitely hire Brian again as electrical needs come up in the new house. I consider him trustworthy and hardworking.
Description of Work: Several odd jobs in our new house... install a new cable jack, disconnect a dimmer switch, install a new motion sensor on the garage flood light, etc.

Description of Work: Installed an overhead bathroom light/fan combo, as well as the associated pieces (i.e., wall switch). Wor was performed efficiently & expertly; the requested rates were extremely reasonable (I found Brian to be unequivocally fair...). Work was also done in the attic and on the roof of our house; unfortunately, I would need to speak with my husband before describing said work (do not know what it was, exactly, Not at all handy, not an electrically inclined/knowledgable woman !!). However, I can confidently state that Brian's work was superior in its entireity, and I would like to add that Brian Mitchell is timely, respectful, kind, and truly a consummate professional.
