Description of Work: He looked at the job to be done and said that he would get back to me with an estimate. After a week went by I called him and he said that he was waiting to hear from another business person with whom he would be partnering for the job and that he would get back to me in a couple of days. This was at the end of April. I have not heard from him and it is now mid-July.

+ -1 moreFred was personable and friendly. He took pride in his work. However, the end product was discolored as the sidewalk met the front stairs. The rest of the walk was beautiful He offered to return some money on the project, but was not able to repair the imperfection in his work.
Description of Work: Poured a decorative front walk for us in front of our home, using stamped concrete.

+ 1 moreI was blown away at how well it came out. Fred Washburn and his crew are truly the best I have ever seen in this field. It is smoother than any tile floor I have ever walked on. I learned through the contractor that he does staining and stamping of concrete also and since I was so impressed and knowing concrete is only new once, I had him acid etch and stain the floor and it now looks like Tusan Marble!!! My friends and family are jealous because the floor looks better than thier bathroom tile : ) His crew waxed it to a shine that is mirror finished. I can even hire him to come back periodically to strip and wax it. I'm a raving fan! He is now working on the basement floor and walls of my 1872 Farmhouse to solve my mold problem permantently! Thanks guys!
Description of Work: Washburn Concrete was highly refered and a subcontractor of a full service contractor I hired, Jack Gudgeon of Wall Pro in Chesterfield, MA. Jack does not refer anyone that is not the best in thier field. They poured an Alaskan Slab (Don't know what that means) with extra footings and modifications requested by the building inspector along with an entry skirt, brushed for traction and pitched to divert water for this very large storage garage.
