Gleyson came and inspected and measured my roof. He explained to me in terms that I could understand exactly what needed to be done. He and his crew arrived at 7 am and the job was completed at 1 pm. Friendly and professional workers also exceeded my expectations with a great clean up. I will recommend Vellox to friends and family. Several neighbors have complemented on the work performed. Unlike other companies, he sold me on his performance od service as opposed to other contractors that tried to sell their long and storied history with a (useless) company history. Great work and humility will will serve the customer better.

Vellox was amazing. My neighbor recommended I check with them when obtaining quotes for the work on my house which needed a new roof and gutters. Gleyson Olivera from Vellox was the only company rep of all of the other 5 quotes I received who came to my home AND walked me around my house giving recommendations as well as listening to my concerns. The lead time was acceptable, the quotation was competitive and there were no "hidden" extras such as rotten wood add-ons. Also, Vellox was the only company to account for overhangs on my roof and bring the ice and water shield farther up the roof. All of the other companies missed this. I made the decision to go with Vellox and the work was completed in one day. The workers did a fantastic job, the installation looks extremely precise, neat and it's painfully obvious how poorly installed my original roof was. I am beyond pleased. The gutter installs also came out perfect and include guards so I don't have to clean them out again. The team was very professional, neat and timely and I would recommend Vellox Construction to anyone looking for similar work.

I contacted Gleyson about making a repair to my roof after being damaged by an animal. I was nervous that water was going to get in given that it was forecasted to rain that night. Gleyson was very accommodating and came over that same day! He made the repair in no time and was also nice enough to re-seal a leaking gutter and fix a cap that was installed incorrectly by the previous contractor. He is such a pleasure to deal with and goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. I will surely be using Vellox again. If you are searching for great companies that do expert work you can stop now and choose Vellox.

Gleyson was my main contact for the job. I received several quotes around the same price, but Vellox came recommended from a friend that had their roof done by Vellox. Gleyson came and did an initial quote, he measured the house, asked me what specific roofing tiles/color I wanted and based on those he gave me a quote a few days later. I paid a 50% deposit and we went from there. I was on a time crunch since I was going on vacation soon so he was able to accommodate my timeline. His crew showed up bright and early, they started around 7:00AM and was done at and cleaned up at 4:30PM. This review is a year later and after a winter of snow, summer/spring of rain I have had no issues.

I was referred to Vellox Construction from a very good friend who is a general contractor and has been doing business with Vellox for more than a decade! Trusting the owner was my No 1 priority.. at our first meeting I felt very comfortable he explained thoroughly the entire process.. he took time to understand my concerns as i am a single mother… I knew that Glaysen was the right person for this big project! His team was great and very friendly.. I was amazed how they protected everything around the house…and the cleanness at the end .. the entire exterior of the house was super neat! The color that he suggested I loved! Everything that it was written on the contract it was done correctly! I was fascinated when I asked Glaysen to replace the shed roof and the wood trims around… he run to Home Depot and got all Azec boards.. shed was completely done… even if they had to work an extra hour! I also asked him to fix few other items which he did! I honestly couldn't ask for a better roofing company! I am planning to use Vellox again in the near future! I will definitely refer him to family and good friends! What really counts is trust! Job was completed in 2 days! I am so happy with the final result! 100% satisfied!

Gleyson did my roof in November 2021 and was amazing. The job was done in a day. All the permits and paper work was filled out by him and the dumpster was brought into my driveway. I’ve been selling real estate for over 30 years and he has been one of most courteous and respectful people that I had ever worked for me. He’s also very neat and tidy and clean up behind him self. Comes in with his guys does the job and then leaves.

The Vellox team was wonderful! We just discovered some leaking around our chimney, so I gave Vellox a call. They came out to look at the job the same day, and had the team out to do the repair the following day! Unbelievably fast. They also found we were missing the cap to the chimney and installed one for us. Absolutely will hire again.

Very quick response also very reasonable cost. We had a rainstorm coming and I needed this repair before it arrived.

We had a roof that was nearly 30 years old and was starting to lose its shingles, and was in dire need of replacing. After getting some rather high-priced quotes from half a dozen roofers, a friend of ours who had work done by Vellox gave us their number and they came out and gave us the best offer. On the day of the job, the crew came out on time and got it all done within a day, and did a very good job cleaning up afterward. Vellox did such a good job that even our neighbor texted us right before they finished to compliment them on how good it looked! I can't recommend them enough and highly encourage giving them a call if you need any work done.

Needed my roof done in a hurry. Gleyson came and gave me an estimate on Tuesday and the roof was started and completed on the following Saturday. Vellox really came through for me and the quality of the work and professionalism was great.

They came out and did a great job quickly and exactly on time and in budget. He also found another spot near the chimney that he fixed on his own. Very nice to work with too!

Everything went perfect from getting the quote to having the work done out of all the contractors that came to give me a quote they were the only ones who actually went up on the roof to verify all the work that needed to be done and that’s the biggest reason why I chose them to do the work everything was on time and as described I would have recommend them highly

Gleyson was prompt to respond to our call for help us with repairing a small section of missing shingle caps from our roof that were noticed after some strong winds came through the area. He was out to our house the next day and repaired the damage before it became a bigger issue. He also took the time to look over our roof for other damage and noticed some debris that had collected around one of our gutter downspouts that he cleared out for us. We would recommend using Vellox Construction Corp to our friends and family and we would use again.

The company was great and responsive. They were prompt and provided a good quote and detailed information and recommendations. Price was reasonable, and the work was done well. The owner told me to let him know if I see any other leakage, that he will come back out.

Leak in the roof, water coming onto the recently refinished floors. Gleyson came by the next day to assess the problem. His crew came by later that week and finished re-roofing in a day. Very professional, high-quality work.

The Vellox guys were efficient and did a great job installing the skylights! Also noted and reattached a faulty gutter while they were up on our 3rd story roof. Great communication end to end.

What an experience! It’s great to see such a professional team at work. They turned up promptly at 7:30am. The roof was off well before midday. The team worked quickly and cleanly. I’d hire again and I highly recommend them to all who need the right team. Hands down one of the best contractors I’ve worked with and trusted to care for my house. Gleyson was extremely personable and responsive, and his team incredibly hard working. I initially chose to hire Vellox over other contractors we had come out because Gleyson was the *only* one out of 5 who actually climbed up on the roof to check it out. Everyone else just stood on the street corner 50 yards away and eyeballed it. Maybe, as an expert, that’s all you need to do, but Gleyson certainly gave me a lot more confidence with his approach. Throughout the process, Gleyson was almost always near-immediately responsive, and also very understanding when we temporarily thought we’d have to delay work to deal with another issue first. I don’t even really expect ultra-prompt replies, but I don’t think I ever waited more than an hour for a response on any inquiry. The day of work, Gleyson and his team arrived promptly at 7am, and had the entirety of the work done within a single day - ripping off multiple layers of old roof, installing a new one, and adding vents/flashing throughout. Obviously, it’s a little early too early to accurately assess the workmanship, but you get the sense Gleyson takes a great deal of pride in his work and genuinely wants to do a great job - which was not the sense I picked up from other contractors - so I feel confident the roof will be as good as advertised. Two small negative marks: 1.) After paying a sizable deposit and being given an estimated start date, it took way longer than expected to receive shingle samples, and by the time we received them, we’d already surpassed the initial start date we’d set. I wouldn’t have minded simply being told they were going to get started later than anticipated or that he wasn’t going to make a drop off as expected. As it was, it made me a little uneasy that I’d handed over a sizable check and suddenly everything halted. 2.) With an older house, we didn’t have plywood sheet decking; just 1x12 planks with gaps between them. During the tear-off process, a ton of debris fell into the attic. Clean-up wasn’t a huge deal, but a little Googling around seems like this is a fairly common problem. Would’ve been good to get some warning on this just so we could at least cover up our belongings to shield them. Overall though, extremely pleased and would recommend Gleyson/Vellox’s services to anyone.
