Spry Fence

I emailed them to request a quote to repair my fence. Complete silence (>2 weeks later)--blown off. Disappointed with this unprofessional behavior.

I am very happy with the final outcome. It wasn’t an easy yard to fence due to rocks, ledge and sloping, but the crew worked very hard and got it done with quality. I have received many compliments from friends, family and neighbors. It’s sturdy and looks fantastic. Good fences cost money. I reached out to several different companies for proposals and all were within a similar ballpark. I went with Spry fence based on prior good reviews, they are local to me, been around a long time and Ed was knowledgeable. The crew installing the fence put in long days and worked hard. They were professional and cleaned up debris after each day. The crew foreman is Ed’s son and he kept things moving and answered any questions I had. I would hire this company again.

Ed came out to give me a bid. He listened to what I wanted to accomplish and made some good suggestions as to how to do it. When I later wanted to use a different wood which was harder to find, he went to the trouble of sourcing and providing it for me. His crew, consisting of the foreman (Ed's son) and two other men, arrived on time and went over everything with me first. They then worked diligently digging the holes to the appropriate depth for the posts and setting them to get the fence exactly as high as specified. They checked their work, made some good suggestion about dealing with a parking area and other obstructions in my yard, and made some minor changes as I asked them to. When finished, they asked me to take a look to make sure I was satisfied before they left. I've had quite a few fences put up in the past, and this is by far the best experience I've had. Usually, fencers just want to get the job done as quickly as possible and don't care how it turns out. I literally was astounded by the fact that these guys really care about doing a good job. I would definitely use them again.

Ed Spry came to look over the yard and give an estimate. He was able to provide the type of fence I wanted in both the front and back of the house. He was knowledgeable and professional. The work was done promptly and looked great. He was even able to add a small section of fence to an area I had forgotten to include, to block off the trash can view from the street. I was happy with the price and the quality of the work. The new fence greatly improved the street view of the house.

I liked that he did what I wanted. He was accurate and on time. He kept to his estimate. He used all local people. He did a great job. I was very happy with him.
