+ -1 moreAs I mentioned, the crew arrived at 700 AM and got to work immediately. I was pretty well organized and everything was already packed. 1 guy lugged boxes, 1 worked the truck and the other 2 tackled the furniture. I was in a 3 story townhouse and there were some heavy pieces. Rob and his men navigated the stairs and turns very well. Fragile things, like the big screen TV, were wrapped securely with plastic and belted into the truck. I felt comfortable that the move would go well pretty early on. The crew was very professional, the rented truck was plenty big enough, things were padded and moved with care, and there was no BS. Everything was reassembled and set up at the new place and there was no damage. The bill was just what I had been told up front. I would recommend McCarthy's Moving based on responsiveness, dependability and professionalism.
Description of Work: After being stiffed by another mover, Joey the Mover, I called McCarthy's moving based on a Craigslist ad. I had to move 6 rooms the following Tuesday, with no flexibility, and I had to be into the new place by 100 pm. Rob told me it would take 4 men at $180/hour. 4 big guys arrived at 700 Am and worked straight through and I was totally moved in just before my deadline.
