Finishing Touch Painting & Wallpapering

We hired Finishing Touch to remove wallpaper, prepare, prime and paint ten rooms in our house. The work was completed on-schedule and at the price quoted. We did a walk-through with Rich and he had some great insight into what was going on with the walls and wall paper. He felt confident that the wall paper could be removed and the walls painted. We had others who did not feel this could be done. He was right, in four days he had all the wall paper off the walls and cleared of glue. What a relief! He made it look so easy. He knows what he is doing. Rich sat down with us before he started to paint so that we could pick our colors. We had some picked out, but struggled with some rooms. He had thousands of color samples for us to work with, but he made the choices easy. We had other contractors working in the house at the same time, and the communication between the contractors kept things moving so that we could compress our overall schedule significantly. Rich was also in constant communication with me during the entire job. I would meet with him a few times a week to walk through the house. This was almost unnecessary because everything I brought up, he was already on top of. One thing not all contractors do is clean up after themselves, Rich did, that made me so happy. They would put their equipment and supplies together and out of the way at the end of every day. They cleaned up all the wallpaper and scraps; they swept after sanding all the walls. They did their job neatly. There was great attention to detail. Every surface was prepared with care, joints between surfaces were caulked and then primed. Some of our rooms were even treated to three coats of paint. The end product was beyond our imagination. We could not be happier with the finished product. Rich was there everyday, on-time and on-budget. In my book this is big. The total bill was as quoted, the work was done well and on schedule. What more can you ask for? I could not ask for anything more from Finishing Touch.
