Kirk was very responsive, giving us an estimate right after I inquired about their service, and very clear about what he recommended we do, as well as answering questions about what we might not need to do, and making suggestions about other services we might look into from other providers. He was willing to wait while we inquired with the power company about whether they would do some of the work nearest the wires, and hung in there when the power company work was delayed. He came back right away after they were done, gave us a revised estimate and said we'd be on the schedule in two weeks or so. A couple days later he called to put us on the schedule for the following week. Then torrential rain came down, and he called to let us know the crew would have to reschedule. When he rescheduled - still within the original two-week time estimate - he was very cordial and accommodating. The crew showed up, did the work, and cleaned up beautifully. Apart from the missing trees and limbs themselves, there was no evidence the crew had even been here - no mess, no lawn damage, and everything was great. The work was just as he promised, and just as we expected.

Crew cam quickley after we received the quote. Arrived when we were told and finished the sooner than we thought it would take them. When they left the yard was as neat as it was before they got there. We were very pleased with our choice.

Removed a large dead tree and chipped the wood. Removed and chipped several smaller trees. Removed and chipped numerous branches. The crew had all the requisite equipment and worked efficiently and professionally, tidied up beautifully afterward.

The owner of the company is very personable and knowledgeable and he took the extra time to listen to all of my concerns and answer all of my questions before starting. His extremely professional and highly skilled workers artfully and carefully removed several difficult trees. One tree was located extremely close to the side of my house that is hard to access and another tree was abutting my fence. I am amazed at how well and efficient the workers performed the job. I have no doubt that tree removal is a very dangerous occupation, but they took extra care to ensure everyone's safety. The workers are very experienced and meticulously cleaned up the debris. I am very pleased with the results and will continue to use this company for all future tree issues. I highly recommend them to all my friends and neighbors.

We have used this company for at least 7 years to maintain our mature trees. We have a maple tree that is older than 100 years and want to ensure that it is healthy. We have trusted their advice and followed their recommendations. We are happy with thiis company.

It went great. McKinney brothers are very professional and knowledgable about trees. Kirk was great at explaining what he was doing and took down all the the branches that may have caused damage in a storm. They even cut up the branches into fire wood and cleaned up my yard with a leaf blower free of charge. I would highly recommend using them!

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by McKinney Brothers. They were incredibly professional and responsive throughout the process. They performed the work while I was away from the house (as planned), and when I got home you literally could not tell there was a tree there unless you knew. They left absolutely no debris behind. While their price was slightly higher than another quote I received, I felt much more comfortable with McKinney, and I'm pretty confident that I wouldn't have found a better price with a different 'A Rated' service. Unless you're really desperate to save a buck, I would absolutely go straight to McKinney, not only did they nail it on taking a tree down, but they made it very clear that they understand trees, and care about their health.

Contacted provider and arranged for estimate. Their estimate was considerably lower than the competition so i decided to go with them. Kirk the owner arrived a little late for the job but was very friendly and professional. We went over the work to be done and then he started the job. Kirk and his crew worked fast and cleaned up well. Despite a little disagreement from my neighbor Kirk was able to make everyone happy. I would highly recommend Mckinney Tree Service for the expert work and professionalism.

I was very pleased with the work from McKinney Brothers Tree Service. When Kirk came out to provide an estimate, he was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. My house is raised well above street level, and most of the trees were located on a slope at the back of the house; Kirk didn't seem at all fazed by the location of the trees, and he even pointed out some perennials that would be in the path of the tree removal so I knew exactly what to expect. The quote that I received was extremely reasonable, so I went ahead and asked for the work to be completed. It was about 2 weeks between receiving the quote and when my job was scheduled, and I was not home the day that the work was completed. When I did return home, I was happy to see the results. Everything was completed as described during my initial consultation, and they did a GREAT job of cleaning up. They even cleaned up a few branches that I'd left behind in frustration when I tried to trim one of the trees myself. I would certainly use McKinney Brothers again.

This company will always be the mainstay for our tree work. We call and they call back right away, they show up on time when they said they would. Quick and clean work. We are always treated as return customers and will always be return customers.

By a wide margin, quality of service exceeded my expectations. Beyond this, price charged was much lower than competitive bids. I recommend this company highly, and plan to engage them again.

McKinney Brothers was fantastic. We had used them previously (after a big storm when we needed a tree service company to help immediately) and were very happy with the work they performed. On this occasion, they initially provided us with a very reasonable quote to remove two oaks and a small pine. (In fact, the quote was less than half of another "A" listed company from whom we also received a proposal). When we then decided to also remove another large oak tree, they were incredibly accommodating and expeditious in scheduling the work. They arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up. We will definitely use them again and recommend them.

I contacted a handful of tree service providers about removing three trees and pruning another. McKinney Brothers was by far the most helpful and honest of the bunch. Their estimate was only slightly above one of the providers, but was below two others. I felt that their honesty and responsiveness was worth paying the difference. The tree removal was swift and satisfactory, however my association and I felt the tree we wanted pruned could be further trimmed. When I called and let them know our concerns they scheduled a trip back within about a week. I would certainly use McKinney Brothers again for any further tree service needs.

We made an appointment with them and Kirk showed up on time, professional, and courteous. We went over what we were looking for and asked for his input. We found Kirk very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. We have used McKinney Brothers a number of times and have always had a positive experience. He and his crew are prompt efficient and professional. They cleaned up the entire area - plus - so it looked good.

They were great. They showed up EXACTLY when they said they would and in the time it took me to go pick up my daughter and a cup of coffee they were done. I pulled into the driveway and they were just putting the last branches into the chipper and sweeping up a little. So they did all that tree work in under an hour. It was great. Exactly what I wanted and well done. The yard was totally cleaned up, so you never would have been able to tell from the grass that they had been there, which was nice too. I also feel that they are honest. There is another tree in the yard that I wanted pruned but they told me that the tree was going to die soon and that it didn't really make sense to spend money on it. He said we probably have a few more years with the tree so we should just enjoy it. I really appreciated. I definitely plan to use them in the future with whatever work I might need done.

I was pretty happy. They provided an estimate that was clear prior to doing the work. They removed some dead branches and I thought they were going remove them all. Communication was fine and scheduling was very easy. The pricing was less than the competition.

I wanted to plan a new tree ontop of where the old tree used to be. The stump had previously been ground to grade, and I needed it to be re-ground to 12" below grade. I had waited weeks for the previous tree service company to give me an estimate. After numerous follow-up calls, they finally came by and said they could only go 6" below grade and it would cost $400. And they could do the work within a couple of weeks. I called McKinney that same day and they came by the following day and said it would be no problem to go 12" and it would cost $450 and they could do it by the end of the week. I went with McKinney. They showed up a couple days later (actually mid-week) and were able to get to 18" below grade, which was even better than I had hoped.

I called on a Wednesday evening to see if these guys could bail me out of a pretty big mess I'd made for myself. I was scheduled to have a satellite dish put in on Saturday but needed to remove a diseased tree that was blocking the signal in order for Direct TV to install the dish. After talking it over with the installer I was convinced that with a little help I could take this monster down myself. While skipping most of the embarrassing details, I was fortunate enough to walk away from a relatively small limb crashing into my home with only a dented gutter and a pile of fresh fire wood. Luckily the owner came by 20 minutes after I called him, promised to do the work by Friday, and gave me a quote on another tree whose roots were also showing. Not only did they do an amazing job, they actually did it a day early. I would use them again in a second.

Kirk and Kim are great. Kim was very pleasant to deal with over the phone. Kirk came out and gave us an estimate for the job a couple of days after we called. It was the best price compared with the other two estimates we got. A week later he came back with his crew and did the work. We have a few ornamental fruit trees in our front yard and Kirk's attention to detail pertaining to their shape was spot on. Both the trees and shrubs look great. We usually do the shrubs ourselves but having them was well worth it. I'm so glad we won't have to worry about taking care of them ourselves in the spring. Overall they were very efficient and did a great job cleaning up. We'd use them again.

I contacted McKinney Brothers based on the large number of very positive reviews. Kirk McKinney stopped by the next day, listened to what I wanted done and gave me an estimate for the work, which I thought was very reasonable, especially since they would have to climb both oak trees (they couldn't reach them with the bucket truck). The work was done approximately two weeks after I accepted the proposal. My wife was home at the time and said the workers were very careful not to damage the yard or the neighbor's fence. They left a few small divots in the yard, but nothing serious. I was very satisfied with the work, and so was my neighbor, who hired McKinney Brothers to remove some additional branches from the oak tree in his yard.

Overall an excellent experience. Kirk McKinney was easy to work with both in providing the estimate and overseeing the work site. I wanted to have the trees removed when the house next door was demolished for reconstruction and McKinney obliged. They came with a large crew and much equipment and were totally professional - these guys knew what they were doing! They cut the strum below ground level and cleaned up beautifully. The only reason I marked them down on price was I thought the agreed upon price was a little high for a job that took less than one hour.
